Chapter 26 Uncle Chu Yu

The first place the mother and daughter came to was the fabric factory.

Li Lihua had met Guo Yu several times on the island. At that time, she was working in a fabric factory.

Later, Guo Yong became rich and the Guo family prospered. Liang Jianguo said that Guo Yu resigned from her job to stay at home to take care of the children.

The mother and daughter were waiting at the factory gate. Fortunately, it was afternoon and almost time to get off work.

After waiting for about half an hour, workers came out one after another.

Chu Yun carried the two pounds of melon seeds she had just bought and found a friendly-looking aunt to talk to.

"Auntie, I want to ask you about someone."

The middle-aged woman in uniform, with a round face and kind eyes, looked like a pretty girl. She smiled and asked, "Girl, who are you looking for?"

Seeing that she was too embarrassed to eat melon seeds, Chu Yun enthusiastically stuffed two handfuls into her pocket and said with a smile, "Her name is Guo Yu. Do you know where she lives now?"

Hearing it was an acquaintance, the woman sighed and said, "Oh, Guo Yu, that's incredible now. His brother is very successful and the whole family has moved into a small house in the wealthy area to the south. His brother seems to live in a small villa, and she is not far away. I really don't know where exactly."

Chu Yun got the approximate location and smiled and thanked her: "Okay, thank you, Auntie. I'll go over there and ask."

The mother and daughter asked people along the way and went to the wealthy area in the south.

When we arrived at the wealthy area, we saw several small Western-style buildings.

Chu Yun carried the remaining half bag of melon seeds and went to the old man sweeping the streets nearby to ask about Guo Yong.

The old man took the melon seeds without hesitation and said as he ate them, "Look for the Guo family. They're in the sixth Western-style building in front. When they first moved in, they set off fireworks and had a banquet."

Chu Yun smiled and thanked him, stuffing the bag of melon seeds into the old man's pocket. Then she asked, "Uncle, do you know where Guo Yong's sister Guo Yu lives? I heard they don't live together, but they don't live far away."

The old man held the broom in one hand and casually tucked the melon seed bag under his armpit. He tilted his head and thought for a while, then turned back and pointed to the right.

"There's a privately built, single-family house with a small two-story courtyard. Go over there and take a look. It should be not far away."

"Oh, thank you very much, sir."

Chu Yun and her mother went to the newly built small second floor over there.

When they reached the door, Li Lihua didn't know what she saw, so she quickly pulled her daughter to hide aside.

Chu Yun was puzzled and followed her mother's gaze.

I saw a woman coming out wearing a cool shirt and blue trousers. She had fashionable curly hair, small leather shoes on her feet, and a bag in her hands. She walked out humming a song with a happy look on her face.

Judging from the mother's reaction, this person should be Guo Yu.

In order to avoid alerting the enemy, Chu Yun pulled her mother to hide behind a tree.

The two of them didn't come out until everyone left.

"Xiaoyun, she is Guo Yu, Liang Jianguo's wife." Li Lihua whispered to her daughter.

Guo Yu's outfit suggests she's getting ready to go out.

Chu Yun nodded, looked at the sky and said, "Mom, it's getting dark. It will be easy if we know the address. Otherwise, you can go back to the hotel first and I will go with you to check the situation."

Li Lihua shook her head and held her daughter's hand tightly, "Mom will go with you and won't cause you any trouble."

Chu Yun is an adult, but this body is only 18 years old after all, so it’s no wonder her mother is worried.

She took people with her to chase after him.

The two followed all the way to the hospital. Guo Yu entered the inpatient department where there were nurses on duty. Chu Yun and her mother simply sat in the lobby to rest for a while.

As soon as the two sat down on the public bench, they saw a nurse approaching and saying to the elderly and young people in the row behind them, "The person you're looking for isn't here. You've been sitting here for hours. Why don't you come tomorrow? It's almost dark outside."

The young man stood up, and the old woman grabbed the young man and said to the nurse in a flattering manner: "Girl, we want to wait a little longer. In case someone comes later and we are not there, it will delay us."

Seeing how persistent they were, the nurse curled her lips helplessly and said, "Alright, whatever you want."

After the nurse left, Dayu looked at Grandma unhappily and said, "Grandma, you didn't eat lunch. It's getting dark. Let's go home. That woman must have lied to you."

Aunt Jiang shook her head and touched her son's head. "It's okay. Mom is not hungry. Be good, Big Fish. Let's wait a little longer."

Seeing his mother like this, Dayu saw helplessness on her pretty face and a tight mouth. He knew in his heart that it was because of him.

After listening to this, Li Lihua looked back and saw an old man and a young man. The young man was obviously not a normal person.

I couldn't help but sigh in my heart, they are all poor people.

Chu Yun naturally heard it as well. Everyone who comes to the hospital has their own problems.

Suddenly I heard my mother whisper, "That boy is so handsome, what a pity."

Chu Yun subconsciously turned around, and the first thing she noticed was the old man's slightly pale hair and lost yet expectant face. Then she was attracted by the young man who was looking down next to him.

Although I only saw the forehead, I inexplicably felt a sense of familiarity.

Chu Yun felt very strange. She had only been here for a short time and had met very few people. How could she feel familiar with a stranger?

It seemed that Chu Yun had been staring at her for too long, and the young man suddenly noticed something and looked up.

When they looked at each other, Chu Yun was completely stunned.

She has an impression of this person!

It was the uncle of the Chu family in the original owner’s memory, Chu Yu, who had died in a car accident!

But didn’t Chu’s uncle die in a car accident?

Chu Yun's mind was in a mess. She just looked at the person and forgot to speak for a moment.

Dayu saw that it was a little girl staring at him. He stared at her curiously and felt that she seemed familiar.

In an instant, it felt like a string in his head was being pulled, and he immediately covered his head with his hands in pain, "Ah, it hurts..."

Aunt Jiang was startled and quickly hugged her son and asked, "What's wrong with Dayu? Is your head hurting again?"

"Mom, it's okay..."

The big fish gritted its teeth and slapped its head repeatedly with its palms. Bursts of sharp pain came from deep within its head. "Ugh..."

Chu Yun came to her senses and immediately stood up and walked forward, grabbed his left hand, and pinched the Hegu point at the base of the thumb to relieve the pain.

Aunt Jiang was so frightened that tears came out. She looked at the strange little girl, then at her son, and shouted anxiously: "Doctor, nurse, come and see what happened to my son..."

A nurse nearby ran over and seeing that the young man's symptoms were unusual, she did not dare to act blindly and hurried to find a doctor.

After a while, the acupoints pressed by Chu Yun seemed to have some effect, and Dayu's emotions gradually stabilized. He stared blankly at the little girl in front of him with sweat on his forehead.

When Chu Yun looked at his face closely, it matched the face of Chu Yu, the younger uncle of the Chu family, in her memory.

The original owner liked this uncle very much in his memory. Thinking of the pitiful Chu Xiaoyu when he left the Chu family, he was so happy to know that his father was not dead.

Chu Yun's eyes felt inexplicably hot, and she whispered, "Uncle."
