The person who came was Li Baozhu.
Ever since her father was arrested, her mother had been packing up to take her back to her hometown. Before getting on the train, she gritted her teeth and ran down alone.
Her father committed a crime, but she did not.
She didn't want to go back to that poor place. Only by staying in the capital could she have a future.
She ran all the way home, but the house was sealed and the locks had been changed, so she couldn't get in.
In desperation, I had to stay at the home of a classmate with whom I used to be close friends.
Her classmates’ parents didn’t say anything, but their eyes would reveal disgust during meals. How could she, who had always been spoiled, tolerate this?
In a fit of anger, I packed up and moved out early this morning.
She had nowhere to go with her luggage, and just as she arrived at her former home, she saw a girl acting suspiciously.
Li Baozhu, who was already feeling annoyed, saw Chu Yun's pretty face and took a look at her casual short-sleeved shirt and floral pants that were not presentable.
"Where did you come from, you bumpkin? Are you from these places? Get out of our house!"
Chu Yun stared at the little girl who was talking nonsense across from her and sneered, "Is your father's name Li Tao and your mother's name Yang Mei?"
Li Baozhu was startled, then her expression turned disgusted. "Could it be that these are poor relatives from somewhere? They really treat our house like a bank. We have no money! Go away!"
As she spoke, Li Baozhu rummaged through her bag for the key, found the original house key, and glanced at Chu Yun proudly.
"Don't move! I want to open the door and go home. If you don't leave, I'll call the police station."
Chu Yun snorted lightly, took a step back with a mocking and amused look, and made a gesture of invitation.
The new key to the house was delivered to their home by the property manager yesterday afternoon.
She wanted to see how she opened the door.
The key in Li Baozhu's hand naturally couldn't open the door. Seeing that the person didn't leave, her face turned red with anger and she glared at Chu Yun fiercely.
"Didn't you hear me telling you to get out? This is my home, why are you so shameless? You poor bastard, don't you dare stand at my door!"
Chu Yun couldn't help it and stepped forward and slapped him.
"You're such a foul-mouthed little girl! Didn't your parents teach you how to speak?"
This slap made Li Baozhu stunned, "You dare to hit me?!"
Her parents had never beaten her since she was a child. When she came to her senses, she waved her hands like crazy and hit Chu Yun.
Chu Yun stopped her hand, grabbed her wrist and swung it, causing her to stagger and fall to the side of the road.
Li Baozhu fell to the ground in disbelief, tears in her eyes as she looked at her in disbelief and started yelling, "Murder! Someone is trying to break into my house and steal! Hurry up and help me find the police station—"
Her voice was harsh and sharp, and a family actually came out from the opposite side.
A middle-aged couple came out, and judging by their attire, they seemed to be intellectuals.
The woman recognized Li Baozhu and hurried over to help her up. "You are not the little girl of the Li family. What happened?"
Li Baozhu looked aggrieved when she heard this. She raised her hand and pointed at Chu Yun at the door. "Auntie, I don't know where this person came from. She pushed me down without any explanation and refused to leave my door. I suspect she wanted to go in and steal something."
The woman frowned and was about to say something.
Chu Yun slowly took out the property certificate and a bunch of keys, raised her eyebrows and said jokingly, "Can you have some shame? Your father has been occupying our family property for so many years and was arrested by the police. You are still making trouble here. How about letting the police arrest you too?"
When these words were spoken, everyone was stunned.
The woman who was supporting Li Baozhu let go instantly.
They heard some noise the afternoon before yesterday, and it was indeed the nearby police station that came and sealed off the house opposite.
I originally thought that the house was mortgaged due to bankruptcy, but I didn’t expect that it was someone else’s house that was occupied.
The woman looked embarrassed and nodded and smiled slightly at Chu Yun, as an apology.
Then she immediately turned around, dragged her husband into the yard, and closed the door.
Li Baozhu didn't react at all. She stared at the property certificate in Chu Yun's hand in disbelief.
"You, you must be lying to me. How could this be your house?"
Chu Yun ignored her, opened the door with the key, and stood in the yard openly looking around.
Li Baozhu quickly got up from the ground, shouting, "This is my house. You must have stolen the key."
Just when Li Baozhu was about to run in, Chu Yun kicked the door shut and stopped her outside.
"Why, you've been living here for so many years, relying on your father's deception and fraud to usurp his position, and you can't face reality?"
Li Baozhu tightly grasped the iron gate of the fence, staring at her with red eyes, "You're the one who's cheating! I wear the best clothes, eat the best food, live the best, go to the best high school, get into college, and can participate in piano competitions in high society. What do you, a country girl, know?"
Even if she is really the daughter of Chu Qingshan as her parents said, so what!
Living with her parents in the countryside, she might not even have been to school, so what's the point of living in their house? Even if she becomes a nouveau riche, a lot of people might laugh at her behind her back.
Chu Yun was not angry at all, and even scratched her ears, saying with a smile: "Yes, I didn't enjoy it. It's not your family's fault, so you have received retribution."
Li Baozhu looked at her like she wanted to eat her. She shouted, "Don't be so complacent! Living in Beijing is a waste for someone like you who doesn't know anything. You'll never be able to get involved in high-level circles."
Chu Yun looked at the man's resentful expression and sighed in surprise:
"It's easy to go from simple to luxurious, but it's hard to go from luxurious to frugal, isn't it? I've had a good life for the rest of my life, but you can't. No matter how much you talk about your superior past, it's all because of my father's reputation. You've enjoyed a few years of our family's glory, but not only are you not grateful, you're also spewing bad words at us. You truly deserve to have your father's inferior genes."
