Chapter 90 Going to School Together

"Mom, are you bored at home every day? Do you have any hobbies?"

Chu Yun suddenly asked.

Dad is busy with his job now. Mom is still young after all. She spends every day around the stove. I don’t know if she is happy.

She wants the whole family to make progress together. Her mother has never been one of the people behind the kitchen. Now that the family has enough food and clothing, she can fully pursue her own interests and hobbies.

This question stumped Li Lihua.

She opened her mouth but no words came out for a long time.

"Mom, my hobby when I was young was embroidery. I remember that after finishing work, I was happiest when I went home and embroidered alone."

Chu Yun asked, "Mom, have you ever studied systematically? I'll find a master for you to learn from. Are you willing?"

Li Lihua smiled when she heard that and touched her daughter's face. "Mom knows you are filial, but those were just hobbies from my youth. Now I can't even stand threading a needle anymore. Stop it now."

Chu Yun thought about it and agreed. There was plenty of sunlight on the island and her mother's eyes were a little presbyopic. Learning embroidery was tiring for the eyes after all and was not a long-term solution.

"Mom, is there anything you like to do?"

Li Lihua shook her head, patted her daughter's hand and said, "No, Mom, life is incredibly happy right now. You don't have to worry about me. I'm with you. Aunt Jiang and Xiaoyu are often at home too, so it's not boring at all."

Chu Yun was holding the person, and suddenly thought of her mother's envy when she visited the university. After hesitating for a moment, she said, "Mom, why don't you and Dad go to night school together?"

If you don’t have any interests or hobbies or things you want to do, you can first study and improve your academic qualifications.

Because of the different environments, the mother has a broader vision and a rich spiritual world, so she may know what she wants to do.

"Ah? Mom, Mom can go to school too."

Li Lihua spoke with a stammer and never thought about continuing her studies.

In fact, she sometimes envies her husband. She admires cultured and knowledgeable people from the bottom of her heart.

In her generation, few girls went to school, and many rural girls had never been to school. She was born in a county town where things were better off, and she had a younger brother, but she was able to go to junior high school.

Chu Yun saw that her mother was distracted and knew that she wanted to study.

She called out to her father who was in the house.

"dad!"

Chu Qingshan, who was reviewing his notes in the room, heard this and quickly put down his notebook and hurried out.

"What happened to my daughter?"

Chu Yun smiled, "Dad, my mom wants to go to night school. Can you help me find out what type of school she should enroll in?"

When Li Lihua heard this, her cheeks turned red and she subconsciously wanted to forget it.

Her husband clapped his hands excitedly, took her hand and said, "Lihua, that's great! Now we can go to school together."

Li Lihua blushed. She pushed the man aside and whispered, "You're already grown up, but you still act like a brat. People will probably laugh at us if we, two middle-aged people, go to school together."

Chu Qingshan frowned, "Lihua, you can't think like that. It doesn't matter what others think. We learn and improve, and live our own lives behind closed doors."

Li Lihua bit her lip, actually she felt a little inferior. After all, she had not even attended high school, and she had not touched a book for so many years.

"But, I..."

Chu Yun immediately knew what her mother was thinking and quickly said, "Mom, there are many different types of teachers at night school. Even those who can't read will have teachers who specialize in teaching pinyin and some basic Chinese characters. If you don't understand anything, just ask the teacher and we'll teach you step by step."

My mother has at least graduated from junior high school, so she has a certain foundation and can teach faster.

Chu Qingshan nodded after hearing this. "Our daughter is right. I just went there and forgot most of what I learned before. The teacher helped me to find it back bit by bit. At most, we can just take it slowly. Anyway, we are just going to learn some knowledge, not to compete or take exams."

Li Lihua was no longer so nervous after being persuaded. She clasped her hands together, smiled and nodded, "Okay, okay."

Chu Qingshan was even more excited than himself. It was actually quite boring for him to study alone, leaving home early and coming back late. He was happy just thinking about being able to study with his wife as his companion.

"Wait, we're going to school tomorrow."

After saying that, Chu Qingshan went straight back to the room to find the phone number of the night school teacher, ready to finalize it today.

Li Lihua looked at her husband like that and smiled, but she kept nagging, "Look at your father, he's still like a child."

Chu Yun laughed when she heard this, "Mom, my dad is clearly showing his love for you. Look how excited he is, he just wants to be with you all the time."

"Every child talks about whether they love or not."

Li Lihua blushed a little and felt embarrassed at her age.

"Okay, then I won't say it." Chu Yun hugged the person's head and rubbed it against him, acting coquettishly. She was really happy for her mother.

In the blink of an eye, it was already half past seven. Chu Yun was carrying a full schoolbag and holding a fan in her hand.

He was sent back to school by his father's assistant Xiao Cheng.

Chu Qingshan originally wanted to send his daughter off by himself, but the driver's license had not yet come out, so he had to call his assistant.

The couple originally wanted to go with them, but Chu Yun felt that it was unnecessary. They had already sent him off once in the morning, and they couldn't say much during the ten-minute journey.

In the end, the couple didn't go.

Chu Yun entered the women's dormitory almost on time.

After saying hello to the dormitory manager, I went straight to the dormitory.

The other people in the dormitory were still awake. They saw that Chu Yun was carrying a bulging backpack and holding an electric fan in his hand.

Everyone was stunned.

Wang Ni immediately ran over excitedly, took the electric fan and exclaimed: "Xiao Yun, you are a fairy! You actually built this thing for our dormitory."
