Su Man looked at the young man and repeated it.
"You mean, Comrade Lin Hongxing told you that I was coming and asked you to pick me up?"
Seeing her alert look, the man smiled.
"Yes, my name is Liu Musong, and I'm a friend of Comrade Lin Hongxing."
"She couldn't leave, so she called me."
He took a step forward and pretended to help Su Man with her luggage.
But the next moment, Su Man took two steps back.
Suddenly, he shouted at the top of his voice.
“Police! Somebody Help Me! Someone’s trying to kill me.”
She shouted as she ran towards the terminal.
Liu Musong was stunned and seemed to be a little dazed.
"I really came to pick you up, don't yell..."
The police who heard the noise rushed over and protected Su Man behind them.
He placed one hand on the pistol at his waist, warning Liu Musong to stop.
“Sir, this woman feels threatened. Please step back.”
“Otherwise, we will shoot.”
Liu Musong gritted his teeth and forced out a helpless smile.
“Officer, it’s just a misunderstanding. I’m her friend. I came to pick her up.”
Su Man poked her head out from behind the policeman and exposed him without any hesitation.
“Liar. I don’t know him at all. I didn’t ask anyone to pick me up.”
In order to keep it secret, she came to the United States in a hurry.
Even her mother and Lin Ye didn't know she was going abroad until two days before.
She herself didn't know when the plane would arrive at the airport, and was worried that it would be unsafe for Hongxing to come and pick her up alone.
Therefore, Red Star was not notified.
How could Red Star have predicted the future and sent someone to pick him up?
This person is not a good person at all.
Without waiting for Liu Musong to say anything, the policeman pulled out his gun and pointed it at him.
“Sir, step back and put your hands on your head before I say it again.”
Liu watched with gritted teeth and had to raise his hands to his head.
Mr. Zhong just told him that the person coming was a woman and he could just kill her.
He thought it was an easy job, just to trick the person into his car, kill him and throw him into any stinky ditch.
In New York, USA, many people die in dark corners every day.
No one would care at all, so he didn't take it to heart at all.
But why didn’t Mr. Zhong tell him in advance that this woman’s English was so good?
If Su Man didn't know English just now, she would have let Liu Musong talk nonsense.
The police pushed Liu Musong to the ground and found a gun on his waist.
Based on Su Man's confession, the man was taken directly back to the police car.
He escorted Su Man all the way to Lin Hongxing's dormitory and told Su Man that if anyone threatened her again.
You can call the police station directly, Su Man nodded and thanked him.
Carrying the luggage, I knocked on the door.
Lin Hongxing was sleeping soundly and thought he was dreaming.
It seemed as if she heard her sister-in-law's voice.
"Hongxing, it's my sister-in-law. Open the door."
Lin Hongxing shuddered. Was this a dream?
She suddenly opened her eyes, opened the window and looked down.
Sure enough, it was Su Man standing at the door with a suitcase. She looked up when she heard the noise and greeted her.
"Red Star? Why, don't you recognize your sister-in-law?"
"sister in law?"
Lin Hongxing cried with joy and didn't even bother to put on her shoes.
He ran downstairs, opened the door, and threw himself into Su Man's arms.
"Sister-in-law, why did you come to the United States?"
"You didn't even tell me in advance? I could have picked you up!"
Su Man caught Lin Hongxing steadily and smiled.
"Aren't you worried that it's unsafe for you to go alone in the middle of the night?"
"Can sister-in-law come in? Or should we find a hotel?"
Lin Hongxing came to her senses, wiped her tears quickly, snatched the suitcase from Su Man's hand, and took her upstairs.
"No, this dormitory is occupied by me and another person right now."
"He's a nice guy and won't say anything. Just stay with me."
"I'll just pay the landlord the accommodation fee later."
Su Man followed Lin Hongxing into the room and looked around.
There are many design drawings on the wall, some of which have been drawn, and some are just lines.
In the corner stood a mannequin, wrapped in cloth, revealing the outline of the garment.
On the other side, a long row of hangers was full of clothes.
Lin Hongxing also changed her rustic look in China, cut her long hair short, and looked very capable.
The room was quite clean, and she had asked when she came just now that this community was inhabited by middle-class Americans and was very safe.
