"If it really doesn't work, should I send him to the town hospital?"
Su Man understood after hearing this and was afraid that there might be another patient.
She got dressed, got out of bed and went out.
"Uncle Dashu, Auntie, is someone sick?"
Zhu Jiumei glared at Yun Dashu angrily and said, "These are all good things arranged by your uncle. Ignore him and let him take the person to the town hospital himself."
Yun Dashu nodded embarrassedly: "Did you hear everything?"
He pointed to the hillside behind the mountain, where a house could be vaguely seen.
"There lived a widow and her relative. I heard that her relative was a lunatic and had killed someone before."
"They rarely come down the mountain. We've only seen them a few times now and then."
"Yesterday, someone went up the mountain and saw that the widow had a broken leg and couldn't move."
"I've been stuck on the mountainside with that crazy woman for several days, and the food at home is almost gone."
"I really had no other choice, so I asked someone to take a message to see if they could help me think of a solution. I remembered that we have a doctor in our village, so I agreed to it."
"Uncle Weird, I forgot you were pregnant!"
After all, when he brought Su Man to the village, Su Man didn't tell him about the bad boy, and it was his wife who noticed it.
He was a rough old man and he couldn't have children. When he saw Su Man running and jumping around in the village as if nothing had happened, he always forgot that she was pregnant.
I agreed and came back to tell my wife about it, only then did I realize that my good intentions had led to bad consequences.
"How many days has the message been delivered?"
Su Man asked as she packed her things.
"That's three days. I've probably had a broken leg for about half a month!"
Su Man nodded, put on her rain boots and carried the medicine box.
"Then let's go! My legs have been broken for so long, I'm afraid they can't withstand such a bumpy road."
"I'll go take a look. If it doesn't work, I'll take you to the hospital!"
