Looking at the backs of the three people who were almost fleeing in panic, Su Man was thoughtful.
It wasn't her illusion, they really were hiding something from her.
But, what is it?
When she arrived at school, Su Man was still thinking about this.
It's rare that I get distracted.
Until Xu Lin walked up to her and waved his hand.
"Comrade Su, I'm calling you!"
There was no impatience on his face, but instead a rare smile on his face.
Su Man came back to her senses and looked at him indifferently.
"What's wrong? Vice Principal Xu, what are your work arrangements?"
Xu Lin smiled kindly and placed a bottle of malted milk on Su Man's desk.
"Oh, Comrade Su, please don't be so hostile to me all the time."
"You are still young and have a lot of room for advancement in the future."
"We're going to work together for decades, so let's just let the past unpleasantness pass!"
Su Man didn't know what Xu Lin was doing all of a sudden, and coldly pushed the bottle of malted milk back.
"No, if you have something to say, just tell the truth!"
"I feel better. I don't want the things anymore. Our family doesn't need them."
Xu Lin gritted his teeth in hatred and clenched his fists.
If that nouveau riche hadn't specifically asked Su Man to go, would he have rushed here to curry favor with Su Man?
What the hell? Do you really think you can be all cocky just because you got some awards and praise?
In the capital, what matters most is your connections.
Obviously, Su Man didn't understand!
Xu Lin took a deep breath and didn't bother to talk nonsense.
He raised his hand and put the malted milk into his arms and said directly.
"In a few days, I'll treat you. Come with me to dinner."
"This concerns the future development of the school. As a member of the school, it would be difficult for you to refuse."
"Otherwise, you should quit your job as a teaching assistant."
Su Man frowned in dissatisfaction and bluntly pointed out Xu Lin's thoughts.
"Just a meal? Nothing else?"
"Do you really think I'm a three-year-old? So easy to fool?"
"Are you going to accompany the drinking, or are you going to be taken advantage of?"
"You go alone. I won't accompany you."
