As Su Man spoke, she pulled the curtains in the office.
It blocks out the street lights outside, so people outside cannot see what is going on in the office.

He had finally managed to get transferred back through connections, and the position of principal was just one step away from him.
What if someone hears Su Man's nonsense and really misunderstands her?
Xu Lin gritted his teeth and interrupted Su Man.
"Don't come. Don't come tomorrow or the day after tomorrow."
"Come back when school starts. Yes, you are not allowed to meet me alone."
Su Man sneered and shrugged.
"You said that yourself! Don't accuse me of disobeying the school's arrangements later."
She stretched her arms and legs, then turned and walked out the door.
"Oh, I'm exhausted after a day's work."
I don't know if it was intentional or not, but the sound of her closing the door was a bit loud.
The door slammed shut, shaking Xu Lin's heart.
Hearing the footsteps fade away, Xu Lin finally breathed a sigh of relief.
I fell into the chair and was about to drink some tea.
Suddenly, the light above my head went out.
It was pitch black all around, which scared Xu Lin.
"Su Man, did you do this?"
It was quiet outside and no one responded to him.
The curtains were drawn, and no light from outside could come in.
He groped his way to get up and open the door, but because he couldn't see the way, he either bumped into the table or kicked over the chair.
He took only two steps before he fell.
I just felt a sharp pain in my front teeth and spat out a mouthful of saliva.
With a bloody smell in his mouth, Xu Lin fumbled around.
I was very angry when I found that my front teeth were knocked out.
"Su Wan (Su Man) give me your hand, Fei Lai (you come back to me)."
