Now, it was Sophia's turn to be stunned.
She looked at Amanda in disbelief, and saw that her face was very calm, not like she was sarcastic.
"Grandma, are you sure I can invite her over?"
(Grandma, are you sure I can invite her to visit?)
You know, her grandmother is notoriously bad-tempered.
Even Pete, who had been her father's student for so long, had only visited her house once at most.
What happened today? Grandma actually invited Su, whom she just met for the first time, to visit her home?
But no matter what, since grandma has spoken, there is no problem.
"Su, can you come to my house as a guest?"
"I want to introduce you to my father."
"I want you to introduce Chinese medicine to my father."
"Oh my God, he will definitely be very, very happy."
Sophia felt excited just thinking about it.
Su Man was about to say that she was going back to China, but seeing Sophia so happy, she couldn't bear to refuse.
She thought about it and asked tentatively.
"Then, can tomorrow be okay?"
Sophia looked at Amanda tentatively, obviously afraid that she would feel it was too hasty and unwilling to agree.
Unexpectedly, Amanda just nodded lightly.
Sophia finally breathed a sigh of relief: "My grandma said, okay, then come to my house for dinner at six o'clock tomorrow night."
Sophia confirmed that Su Man did not need her to send a car to pick her up, so she could only give Su Man an address and a phone number.
She repeatedly told Su Man that if she couldn't find the location, she could call her.
Su Man nodded, waved goodbye to Sophia and Amanda, and turned away.
Amanda kept watching Su Man walk away and get into the car, then she looked away.
Sophia looked at Amanda's actions, somewhat puzzled.
Her grandmother seemed to be too tolerant of Su Man.
Not only did she get invited to be a guest, but the time was so short and yet grandma actually agreed?
Sophia asked Amanda if she liked Su Man very much.
Amanda shook her head and said she couldn't say she liked it very much.
He just thought Su Man was interesting and spoke with a tone of appreciation.
Sophia shrugged and didn't ask any further questions.
If Pete were here and heard this, he would definitely be angry and cry.
After all, the old lady's attitude towards him and Su Man was completely different.
Su Man returned to Lin Hongxing's dormitory, and Lin Hongxing had just woken up.
The disheveled man grabbed David and asked where Su Man had gone.
It looked as if David had made Su Man disappear.
Su Man walked in and saw this scene, and couldn't help but feel curious.
"What are you two doing?"
Lin Hongxing's eyes suddenly turned red and she pursed her lips.
"Sister-in-law, I thought David had kicked you out. I looked for you but couldn't find you. I thought you were gone."
"I was just thinking about whether I should die as an atonement, and before I die, I want to drag someone down with me!"
David didn't understand what they were saying and looked at them in confusion.
Seeing Lin Hongxing crying, he hurried forward and got her a piece of toilet paper.
"Don't cry. I'll keep an eye on your sister for the rest of your life, okay?"
(Don’t cry, I’ll look after your sister from now on, okay?)
Lin Hongxing took the toilet paper and wiped her tears randomly.
He looked at David angrily and warned him with gritted teeth.
"Who asked you to watch? That's my brother's wife."
(Who asked you to look at her? She’s my brother’s wife, I won’t let you look at her.)
David raised his hands in a gesture of innocence.
"All right, whatever you say. I'll just look at you."
(Okay, I’ll do whatever you say. I’ll only look at you.)
Looking at Lin Hongxing's childish appearance, David's eyes softened a lot.
“Just look at you”
(Only looking at you)
His eyes were like the deep blue sea. It was hard not to drown in them when he looked at you so intently.
Lin Hongxing felt her face turn red for no reason, and she turned around to pull Su Man upstairs.
It turned out that there was no one there before, and just when she was puzzled.
David pointed upstairs, stifling a laugh.
"Your Brother's wife just went upstairs."
(Your brother's wife just went upstairs.)
Before Lin Hongxing lost his temper, David tactfully covered his eyes.
"I wasn't looking, I just heard footsteps ing up the stairs."
(I didn’t see anything, I just heard footsteps coming up the stairs.)
Lin Hongxing gritted his teeth and ran upstairs.
Su Man was sitting on the edge of the bed, packing her things.
Seeing Lin Hongxing coming, he couldn't help but joke.
"Are you done with the fight? The way you two just did, your combined age is no more than three."
"You're still calling them kids! You don't even know who the kid is."
But! People only become like children in front of people they completely trust.
Lin Hongxing sat in front of Su Man angrily, with a deliberately stern face.
