Chapter 123: Left and Right Attack
"Zhizhi?" Shu Chengan noticed her disappointment, "I'll take you out to play later, okay?"
"Although I can't see Brother Huai, I guess as long as you don't stay in Jingzhou, you won't miss him. At least it's a solution. Missing someone for too long is not good. As the old saying goes, missing someone too much will make you sick."
Wen Zhile grasped the key words and immediately retorted: "Who said I was in love? I'm not."
Zhou Jihuai had only been gone for one day, so she didn't miss him right now. She was just feeling unhappy because of that half a year.
Shu Chengan almost laughed out loud: "Then don't go. What if I'm wrong and you still think of him after leaving Jingzhou? That would be a waste of time."
"..." Wen Zhile turned to look at him. She could tell at a glance that he didn't believe her. She wanted to say something but gave up and ordered him, "I want to eat some snacks. I just saw someone selling soda, popcorn and donkey rolls outside the cinema. I want to dip the donkey rolls in lots of bean flour."
Shu Chengan readily agreed: "Okay, okay, I'll go buy it for you, you go find a place to sit first."
There weren't many people watching the film, and the seats were only half full.
Wen Zhile was used to sitting in the front seat, so he continued walking forward.
Shu Chengan came back after the movie started. He was afraid of blocking the audience behind him, so he hunched over and quickly sat down next to his cousin. "The popcorn was just made by Grandpa. It's still hot."
"Do you need me to pry the lid off your soda?"
"No, I'll drink it later." The image of the little fox on the screen was so cute that Wen Zhile felt a little better.
Shu Chengan passed the donkey over and said, "I bought 50 cents worth of soybean flour from Auntie. Is that enough?"
"That's enough, thank you cousin."
Shu Cheng'an raised the corner of his lips, grabbed a handful of popcorn and started watching the movie.
After an hour and a half, the show ended. The two followed the crowd out. The ceiling lights were turned on, and light poured in. Wen Zhile suddenly saw his parents not far ahead, and then he heard Shu Chengan shouting, "Aunt and Uncle!"
The group of people in front all turned around and looked at the two of them. Shu Cheng'an was thick-skinned and was not afraid of being looked at, while Wen Zhile was used to being looked at. The two of them did not even frown. After making eye contact with their parents, Wen Zhile quickly stuffed the remaining snacks in his hand from behind his back to Shu Cheng'an, then smiled and waved.
Shu Cheng'an smiled, rolled up the bag and stuffed it into his coat pocket.
The four of them met at the entrance of the cinema. Shu Ying took her daughter's hand and said, "What a coincidence. Let's have lunch together at noon."
Wen Shuren looked at Wen Zhile, and Wen Zhile looked at him and understood immediately: "I don't want to disturb your world of two."
Shu Chengan smiled and replied, "Aunt, I'll take Zhizhi out for lunch, you and uncle don't have to worry."
Wen Shuren adjusted his glasses and smiled at Shu Ying: "Okay, let's go. Don't delay the children's dinner."
Shu Ying glared at him, and Wen Zhile pulled Shu Chengan out.
When Shu Chengan reached the trash can, he threw the trash away.
"Cousin, where shall we go to eat?"
“KFC?”
"OK!"
Shu Chengan knew his family too well. Both his mother and his aunt would not let their children eat too many snacks. As an outstanding, generous, smart and best cousin in the world, of course he had to give his little cousin more snacks that she missed.
KFC was packed at noon, and there was still a line at the door when they went there. The two of them were not in a hurry and lined up slowly. When it was almost their turn, Wen Zhile heard someone calling him.
"Wen Zhile!"
Shu Cheng'an and she looked in the direction of the sound, and a flash of surprise flashed across his eyes: "He is so happy to see you?"
Wen Zhile shook her head: "Who knows what happened to him?"
"Student Wen?"
There was a sound coming from the other side, and Wen Zhile turned around.
Shu Chengan raised his eyebrows slightly: "Who is this?"
Wen Zhile: "A teacher at our school's law school, his last name is He."
"Wen Zhile!"
Wen Zhile turned around and said, "Zhou Yusheng, we're not familiar with each other, right?"
Zhou Yusheng's smile remained unchanged: "Are you still angry?"
"Student Wen," He Yuzhou approached and glanced at Zhou Yusheng, "Why don't you see the comrade who went to the school to look for you?"
He changed his glasses, no longer with gold wire, and now the frames are very thin and have little presence.
Shu Chengan looked at him quietly: "Professor He, are you talking about Brother Huai? He has something to do, so he asked me to accompany Zhizhi. I am Zhizhi's cousin."
Wen Zhile stood in the middle, with He Yuzhou on the left and Zhou Yusheng on the right.
Zhou Yusheng on the right was unwilling to be left out: "Wen Zhile, the last time you came to my house, my behavior was inappropriate. My brother taught me a lesson that time. I wanted to go to your house to apologize to you after my injury healed, but I didn't expect to run into you on the street."
After he finished speaking, he looked at Shu Chengan and said, "Brother Chengan, long time no see."
Shu Chengan:?
He looked at Zhou Yusheng, and then looked away, thinking that he would not dare to do anything excessive because of Brother Huai's presence.
He stopped looking at Zhou Yusheng, but Zhou Yusheng felt a chill on his back. His sixth sense told him that there was danger here, just like the feeling he had every time his elder brother got angry.
He couldn't help but look back, then calmed himself down.
His elder brother was no longer in Jingzhou, so he had nothing to be afraid of.
"Queue up at the back. It's shameful to cut in line." The old man who was queuing behind Shu Chengan couldn't help but remind him.
"Okay, Master, we won't cut in line." Xiao Han happened to come over and explained what the Master said.
She and her second brother came to the city center to do some work today. She was delayed for a while and her second brother disappeared.
She walked over, smiled friendly at Wen Zhile, and then looked at Shu Chengan: "Senior Shu, do you still remember me? I am two grades lower than you."
Shu Chengan thought for two seconds: "Remember, Xiao Han, you are famous for your sharp tongue in school. I have known you since the third grade of elementary school. I heard that you were admitted to the law department of Peking University? Congratulations, you got what you wanted."
Xiao Han was proud of having been successfully admitted to the Law Department of Peking University. She replied happily, "Thank you, thank you. Is classmate Wen your cousin? What a coincidence."
"Hello Zhile, I'm Xiao Han, a graduate student in the law department of our school. You can always come to me if you have anything to do in school. You can also come to me if you have nothing to do. I like playing with beautiful girls."
Before Wen Zhile could speak, Zhou Yusheng said, "I just bought a set meal. I'll give it to you while I queue up again."
After saying this, Shu Chengan looked at him again.
Doesn't Huaige's brother like Dai Nuan? Why is he suddenly so attentive to Zhizhi? Something is wrong.
Wen Zhile thought the same as he did and refused directly.
Zhou Yusheng was a little embarrassed, but he didn't turn his face away: "Don't think too much, I just want to apologize for what happened last time. In this case, I will leave first. I have an appointment with my classmates."
After he left, Shu Chengan and Xiao Han started chatting: "Who is this for?"
"No, this is my cousin, from Shenzhou, a professor at the Law Department of Beijing University."
He's from another place, no wonder he doesn't know him.
Shu Chengan said in a friendly manner: "We are acquainted today, Professor He, my name is Shu Chengan."
"Hello, Officer Shu."
Shu Chengan was a little surprised: "Professor He knows me?"
