Chapter 16 The Lu Family Does Not Welcome You

"I said, I'm here to register for the exam, why are you not letting me in?"

The soldier in charge of registration was unmoved. "Comrade, the referral you provided cannot be contacted. Please wait a moment."

Qin Qingmeng sneered and raised her voice, "Are you kidding me? The person who recommended me was Chief of Staff Li, a good friend of my father. How could I use this to deceive you?"

The little soldier looked at her and said calmly, "That's not certain."

Qin Qingmeng was almost suffocated by anger. She was about to speak when she heard a delicate female voice behind her.

"Hello, comrade. I'm here to register for the exam. My recommender is Lu Bingchuan. Please help me register."

Qin Qingmeng immediately turned around and stared at her in surprise and anger.

"Why is it you again?!"

Jiang Ningyan hooked her hair with her slender fingertips and smiled at her innocently, "Maybe we are destined to be together."

Qin Qingmeng snorted disdainfully, her eyes full of suspicion, "How could Brother Bingchuan possibly be your recommender? Just give him a call. Only if he personally approves you can you get in!"

Jiang Ningyan turned to the registered soldier with a smile and said softly, "Please transfer me to Lu Bingchuan."

The beeping sound continued for dozens of seconds. When the call was about to be automatically hung up, the other end picked up the phone and a man's deep voice came from the receiver.

"Who?"

Jiang Ningyan smiled like a flower and called him sweetly, "Brother Chuan, it's me."

There was silence for two seconds. "What's up?"

Jiang Ningyan raised her voice, deliberately speaking for the other two to hear, "Two days ago, you recommended me to take the translation exam for the Second Regiment, and I'm here to register now."

Lu Bingchuan's tone was as cold as ever, without any ups and downs. "Are you dreaming?"

Jiang Ningyan pretended not to hear and continued to act out her own words, smiling broadly, "Missed me? Don't worry, I'll come find you after I sign up."

After that, he handed the receiver to the soldier, "Comrade, you can verify it."

The young soldier believed it and whispered to the other end, "Commander, then I'll let you go?"
