The yard was overgrown with weeds, obviously having been abandoned for a long time.
Jiang Ningyan naturally couldn't go in with peace of mind. She took two steps back and was about to leave when she heard a commotion in the yard.

The fat man shuddered all over and raised his chin a little, while the thin man kept his head down.
Jiang Ningyan smiled, but it wasn't a friendly smile. "So it's you two."
Despite being beaten black and blue, the two men were still easy to recognize. They were the ones who had harassed her in the street in front of the cinema.
If Lu Bingchuan had not arrived in time, the consequences would have been disastrous.
The fat man was so scared that he broke out in a cold sweat, and his fat cheeks trembled continuously, "Sister, you, you recognized the wrong person, I have never seen you before..."
The thin man suddenly jumped up without saying a word and rushed to the door.
The man behind him who looked like a thug reacted faster. He grabbed him by the back of the collar and threw him back onto the concrete floor like a chicken.

There were a few dark red marks on the pliers, which looked like blood.
The fat man was the first to lose his temper. He trembled and knelt down to move closer to Jiang Ningyan.
"I say! It was that female teacher with glasses from Red Star Primary School who did it!"
"She gave us fifty yuan and told us to find a chance to drag you to the warehouse behind the fertilizer factory. Once we were done, we'd ring a gong to lure the neighbors over..."
The thin man stammered, trying to shirk responsibility. "If that woman hadn't begged us desperately, we wouldn't have done such a wicked thing..."
When Jiang Ningyan heard the name Red Star Middle School, a figure appeared in her mind.
"How do you know her identity?"
The fat man shrank his neck and said, "We followed her for a long time and finally saw her enter the teacher's dormitory of Red Star Primary School."
Jiang Ningyan asked again what the man looked like, and the answer she got was the same as Su Pianran's.
She had only moved out of the Lu family a few days ago. This was too hasty.
Chu Ming saw her lost in thought and raised his eyebrows. "Are you done asking?"
