With a crash, Chang Pengfei slammed the kitchen knife onto the table, while he stood there stunned by what Tang's father had said.
It's over, it's over, it's really over—
Tang Xianfang didn't dare to meet her father's eyes at all, her right hand tightly protecting her lower abdomen, and she didn't say a word.
Mr. Tang walked into the kitchen with a smile, waved to Mrs. Tang, and Mrs. Tang quickly left the kitchen.
Tang's father tugged at Chang Pengfei, who was so frightened he almost couldn't breathe. The distance between Chang Pengfei and Tang Xianfang instantly closed, but they both wished they could run as far away as possible.
Tang Xianfang hesitated before speaking, "Dad, this was an accident, it has nothing to do with him..."
She was able to approach Chang Pengfei and demand that he take responsibility because she wanted his help to minimize the impact of the situation, rather than forcing him to build a relationship through her unborn child.
She hated Chang Pengfei for his inability to control his spending, and she never wanted to have anything to do with such a person again!
Chang Pengfei quickly smiled and said, "Uncle, Xianfang and I can handle this..."
"Solve it? Comrade Chang, my daughter is pregnant with your child, and you're thinking of solving it? Tell me how you're going to solve it?" Tang's father narrowed his eyes dangerously.
Chang Pengfei was speechless for a moment. He couldn't very well tell Tang Xianfang's father that he didn't want the child, or he would be torn to pieces.
Tang Xianfang was afraid that her father would force them to get married, so she quickly said, "Dad, this child was an accident. Nobody wanted her to be born. I think it would be better for everyone if we aborted her. I will not marry Pengfei!"
Chang Pengfei felt a pang of pain in his heart.
Emotionally, although he knew that Tang Xianfang didn't want the child at all, and he could understand that, hearing Tang Xianfang say those words still made him feel heartbroken for this unexpected little life.
Not getting married? That won't do!
Mr. Tang looked disapproving: "Shut up! Who gave you permission to say that!"
She harshly criticized Tang Xianfang: "When your mother and I had you, we wanted a boy, but we still gave birth to you. Now that you're a mother, you've become irresponsible!"
Tang Xianfang replied loudly, "Yes, I should be grateful to you for giving birth to me. Has anyone ever asked me what I think? If I had to choose again, I would definitely hope that I was born with my parents' expectations!"
Tang Aifang and Tang Aibao have been loved by their parents since birth.
And her? She was like a pathetic creature, unwilling to let her child experience such absurdity again.
Tang's father laughed out loud, not taking Tang Xianfang's dissatisfaction seriously, and said shamelessly, "According to you, more than half of the people in the world could just stop living. Everyone just makes do with their lives, so why are you different!"
"Tang Xianfang, Tang Xianfang, why didn't you say this sooner? You don't take care of your health, you got pregnant but want to have an abortion. Who will support you if word gets out?"
Tang Xianfang still insisted on her idea: "I said I would not marry him, I would not keep this child, and we have no relationship whatsoever!"
Tang's father glared fiercely at his troublesome second daughter, then turned to Chang Pengfei: "Comrade Chang, you're just letting her make the decision? Don't you want your child anymore!"
Chang Pengfei glanced longingly at Tang Xianfang's flat stomach and gently shook his head: "Everything should be based on Xianfang's wishes!"
What right does he have to speak on this matter? If he hadn't been so muddle-headed, Tang Xianfang wouldn't have suffered.
Noticing Chang Pengfei's gaze, Tang Xianfang covered her lower abdomen and turned her head away in disgust.
It's all because of that bastard, he doesn't have the ability, haha!
With a loud crash, Tang's father was so angry at these two young people with their unique ideas that he grabbed something and smashed it on the ground.
"This is not a decision you can make on your own!"
Tang's father angrily informed them: "You have to get married whether you want to or not. Chang Pengfei, call your parents and tell them to come over and handle this immediately, or you'll be in jail tomorrow!"
The crime of hooliganism is still very effective today.
Tang Xianfang clutched her stomach, her face pale with fright. How could her father do this?
She has already said that she doesn't want to marry Chang Pengfei!
Yes, Chang Pengfei is in prison for hooliganism. As the victim, and with a child in her belly, does she expect to have a good life?
Relatives, friends, colleagues—wherever she went, she was bombarded with criticism. The whereabouts of her child became unknown, and Tang Xianfang felt she couldn't go on living!
Chang Pengfei sighed. He had a premonition after that night, but he never expected that this day would finally come.
Tang Xianfang doesn't want children or to get married, so it's only natural that he, as the culprit, should be punished.
Chang Pengfei squatted down, his hands covering his head, his face full of grief: "Uncle, then send me to prison!"
Mr. Tang was furious with their attitude; they were completely unyielding!
She absolutely refuses to get married.
Just as Tang's father was about to unleash a torrent of abuse, a violent banging came from the front door. Chang Rihui, along with Chang Huaying and Tang's classmate, were standing at the door banging on it.
Chang Rihui roared, "I'm Chang Pengfei's brother! Is my brother inside?!"
Chang Huaying knew that Chang Pengfei had asked Tang for the Tang family's address. Connecting this with the strange things that had happened in the past few days, she felt something was amiss and went to find Chang Rihui.
Chang Rihui realized that things were in serious trouble. His brother was indeed brainless; coming to their door at this time was just courting death!
Quite some time had passed since Chang Pengfei asked for the address, and there was still no news of him. Chang Rihui and Chang Huaying were so frightened that they thought the Tang family was angry and had dealt with him badly. They couldn't care less about anything else and rushed to his door to look for him.
I'll never contact him again; he might not even exist anymore!
Tang's mother let the person in, and the neighbors crowded in the corridor to watch the commotion. Thinking of her second daughter's bold actions, Tang's mother closed the door guiltily.
