"Have some mung bean soup to quench your thirst."
Ye Yun smiled and handed the mung bean soup to the man who was covered in sweat.
Qin Zheng responded softly, "Okay."
He put down the shovel, took the cool mung bean soup Ye Yun handed him, tilted his head back, and drank it all in one gulp.
The cool and sweet soup instantly relieved the stuffiness he had felt from working.
This is a long-awaited rain, nothing more so.
Qin Zheng sighed contentedly, holding the empty bowl. He saw Ye Yun smiling at him from the side and smiled sheepishly.
"Honey, the mung bean soup you made is so delicious." He scratched his head, wondering where his wife got so many culinary skills from.
Ye Yun smiled.
He found someone to teach him; it was all his doing.
Do you want more?
Ye Yun took the empty bowl from the man's hand and asked him with a smile.
"No need." Qin Zheng rubbed his hands together, gripped the shovel handle, and continued turning the soil. "I only need about ten more turns to finish. Tomorrow I'll ask where I can buy vegetable seeds and get some. Then we can eat vegetables we grow ourselves."
"good."
Seeing that his forehead was covered in sweat, Ye Yun first put the bowl back on the table, then filled a basin with cold water, soaked a towel, and went over to wipe Qin Zheng's sweat.

On a whim, Gu Jin picked up the bowl and asked, "Ye Yun, what did you put in the soup? It tastes different from other mung bean soups. It's as thirst-quenching as water, yet it still has the flavor of mung beans. How did you do that?"
Ye Yun smiled, pursing her lips, "Guess~"
"ah?"
Gu Jin was stunned.
How could he possibly guess?
Ye Yun didn't mean to tell him anything; she just told him to drink.
Gu Jin wanted to ask more, but under the dim light, Ye Yun had already carried several empty bowls into the kitchen, leaving him with only her slender back view.
He looked out the window and saw Ye Yun washing dishes in the kitchen, and his expression darkened.
Snap!
Suddenly, a sharp rap on the head sent a chill down Gu Jin's spine. He turned around and bumped into Tian Xiaohui, who was glaring at him with her hands on her hips and a fierce expression on her face.
What are you looking at?!
"What do you mean, 'what am I looking at'?"
"What are you looking at!" Tian Xiaohui pointed into the kitchen and questioned again.
Gu Jin: "..."
He ignored Tian Xiaohui and turned to Qin Zheng: "Qin Zheng! Your neighbor's little sister is really ruthless!"
"You deserve it!" Tian Xiaohui quickly complained, "Brother Qin Zheng! He was peeping at your sister-in-law!"
"What do you mean by peeping? I was peeping openly and honestly! Don't believe me? Ask Qin Zheng! Was this the first time I'd ever peeked at his wife?"
"you……"
Tian Xiaohui had never seen someone as shameless as Gu Jin before, and she was stunned.
Gu Jin was smug.
