As expected, Luo Xiujuan lived up to Ye Yun's expectations and went directly to Lao Xun's house after leaving the health center.
The news of Xun Xiangbin being cheated on and getting divorced made a huge fuss a while ago. Everyone on the street knew where Old Xun's house was. Luo Xiujuan just asked around and found her way into Old Xun's house.
When Luo Xiujuan brought Xiao Hai into Lao Xun's house, Xun's mother was washing clothes in the yard.
Having been tormented by Xun Xiangbin for a day, Xun's mother's aura has diminished considerably. Her drooping eyebrows no longer show the sternness and arrogance she once had.
But the moment she saw Luo Xiujuan, she instinctively raised her eyebrows.

Her tone was not pleasant, especially when she saw the small fish in Luo Xiujuan's hand, she rolled her eyes with particular disdain.
Xiao Hai subconsciously took a step back.

Madam Xun, not bothering to put down the clothes she was washing halfway through, pointed at her and said sternly, "You, surnamed Luo, don't try to flatter yourself. Get out of here! My son didn't marry you, so I don't recognize you as my daughter-in-law!"
Luo Xiujuan ignored her and, holding Xiao Hai's hand, plopped down on the stone bench in the courtyard.
After sitting down, she hugged Xiao Hai and said gently, "Son, this is your father's home, and this old lady is your grandmother. We will be living here from now on."
Xiao Hai nodded, seemingly understanding but not quite.
This fright infuriated Xun's mother.
Unable to maintain her haughty demeanor any longer, she threw down the clothes in her hand, grabbed Luo Xiujuan's clothes, pinched Xiao Hai's arm with one hand, and gritted her teeth, trying to kick the mother and son out.
"I refuse to believe it today! I, Gao Yuzhi, have lived most of my life and I can't even handle you?"
Luo Xiujuan is no pushover either.
He flung away Xun's mother's hand, and then flung away the hand that was gripping Xiao Hai's arm. Xun's mother was unwilling to give up and tried to reach out again, so he slapped Xun's mother several times.
The blows made a loud slapping sound on the back of Xun's mother's hand.
Xun's mother felt a burning pain on the back of her hand. What she couldn't accept the most was that Luo Xiujuan, the village girl she looked down on, dared to lay a hand on her.
She hasn't even started anything with the woman yet!
Mrs. Xun always considered herself a cultured city dweller, and her inherent sense of superiority prevented her from behaving as vulgarly as Luo Xiujuan. With her hands on her hips, she pointed to the front door and ordered again, "Luo Xiujuan, I'll say it one more time, take your son and get out of my house!"
"I won't!"

Xun's mother was the kind of person who couldn't lower herself to confront a shameless shrew like Luo Xiujuan.
Luo Xiujuan also saw that Xun's mother was a noble paper tiger, and snorted coldly: "Mother, I'm going back to the Xun family, and I'm going to stay in Binzi's room. If you want to blame someone, don't blame anyone else, you can only blame yourself."
