Sure enough, after Ye Yun finished speaking, both Old Master Cai and Cai Manni froze, and their eyes turned noticeably colder as they looked at her.
Ye Yun remained neither humble nor arrogant.
Despite the oppressive gazes from Mr. Cai and Cai Manni, she smiled and didn't treat their unfriendly stares as something to be afraid of.

Qin Zheng replaced the liquor with tea.
Originally, he planned to toast Old Lady Cai with baijiu (Chinese liquor) and then find someone to drive her and Ye Yun home.
But now he's not in the mood.
Cai Manni and her father, working together, made things difficult for his wife, so he no longer needed to use baijiu to show his sincerity.
"What important thing is it that you can't even finish attending a wedding banquet?"
Old Cai's face showed displeasure as he stared at Qin Zheng, his tone becoming increasingly somber.

After saying that, he let out a cold snort.
Qin Zheng held his wine glass, remained silent for a few seconds, then tilted his head back and drank the tea in his teacup in one gulp.
"Mr. Cai, please excuse me."
He took Ye Yun's hand, ignoring how unpleasant Cai Lao's expression was, and left the wedding banquet directly.
Cai Manni was speechless with astonishment.
She never expected that Qin Zheng would be so disrespectful, even to her father.

This sound made Qin Zheng stop in his tracks.
Old Cai also turned around, leaning on his cane, staring intently at Qin Zheng's back, as if he was certain that Qin Zheng would not and dare not leave like this.
However, he was destined to be disappointed.
Under the watchful eyes of everyone, Qin Zheng did not let go of Ye Yun's hand at all, and calmly led her away.
The surroundings were deathly silent.
Long before, when Old Cai brought Cai Manni over, many people had already noticed the situation. It was no secret among them that Cai Manni was interested in Qin Zheng.
