Why say all this?
Gu Jin walked over.
The soldier reacted quickly, immediately patting his head and saying, "Right, right, look at my mouth, I won't say anything more."
Gu Jin merely glanced at the soldier, showing no interest in strangers. He then looked at Ye Yun with a quiet gaze and asked, "What are we having for dinner tonight? Qin Zheng said he was worried about you and didn't even attend the welcome dinner the company had prepared. He rushed back right away."
Ye Yun glanced at him and said, "Is all you do all day is eat?"
"Not really." Gu Jin chuckled, saying with ill intent, "Even after I've eaten, I still think about things. Do you want to know what they are?"
"What's up?"
"How can I peacefully join you and Qin Zheng?"
"..."
Ye Yun fell silent.
Qin Zheng hissed, his impatient gaze as cold as a knife as he glared at Gu Jin.
Gu Jin immediately jumped back and pointed at him, saying, "Look, look, he's getting angry again!"
Everyone: "..."
Seeing that they were chatting, Chen Zhenxing and Bing Ge said goodbye to Ye Yun and then went their separate ways to go home.
"Ye Yun, who are they?"
After Chen Zhenxing and Bing Ge left, Ye Yun took Qin Zheng's arm and went into the shop, with Gu Jin following excitedly.
Ye Yun then told him about the Baiyun Garment Factory.
Qin Zheng raised an eyebrow, a hint of relief in his expression: "So, that Liu Wan won't come looking for me again, right?"
Ye Yun chuckled.
"Qin Zheng, are you that afraid of him?"
"I'm not afraid of her," Qin Zheng said shyly, his ears turning slightly red. "I'm afraid you'll get angry."
"Okay, don't be afraid."
Ye Yun reached out and gently ruffled his hair, then sat down at the table with him, speaking in a serious tone: "My current plan is to cooperate with Baiyun Garment Factory. I might be very busy these next few days."
What about your body?
Qin Zheng looked at her with a worried expression and a hint of disapproval in his eyes.
Ye Yun chuckled, "Don't worry, I know what I'm doing. I won't be coming back for lunch these next few days, but I'll eat out properly!"
Qin Zheng was a little unhappy.
He didn't want Ye Yun to be running around outside every day, making him seem useless.
And she was pregnant.
But he also knew that Ye Yun couldn't stay idle, and keeping her at home wouldn't be a good thing for her.
So what are we having for dinner tonight?
Gu Jin smiled and came closer again.
He held a serving of mung bean cake that Tian Xiaohui had just served him, picked up a three-pronged fork, forked a piece into his mouth, and leisurely looked at Qin Zheng and Ye Yun.
Ye Yun glanced at the mung bean cake in his hand and scoffed, "Don't you have enough?"
Gu Jin shook her head. "Not enough."
Qin Zheng: "Then you should eat a few more servings."
"Okay!"
Qin Zheng: "..."
It's alright.
Qin Zheng glanced at Gu Jin, then suddenly grabbed Ye Yun's hand, winked at her sheepishly, and whispered, "Honey, do you want some barbecue?"
"ah?"
"Barbecue is simply skewering everything together, grilling it over a fire, and sprinkling it with chili flakes—it's so satisfying!"
"Okay,"
Ye Yun readily agreed, "Where to?"
She had been vomiting a lot during her early pregnancy and hadn't eaten any spicy food in a long time. Qin Zheng's words had really whetted her appetite.
Qin Zheng stood up, took her hand, and walked outside. "Come on, I'll take you there."
"good."
Gu Jin was playfully fighting with Tian Xiaohui.
He forked a piece of mung bean cake for Tian Xiaohui, but just as she opened her mouth to take it, he snatched the fork away, which angered Tian Xiaohui so much that she grabbed a metal clamp from the side and was about to hit him.
He turned his head and saw Qin Zheng leading Ye Yun out.
He quickly stuffed the rest of the mung bean cakes into his mouth, put down the bowl, and hurriedly followed them out, calling out indistinctly as he chewed, "Hey Qin Zheng! Where are you going! Take me with you!"
"You little tagalong, you follow me everywhere!"
Tian Xiaohui glared at Gu Jin's retreating figure as he hurriedly followed her out, her face turning ashen with anger. She slammed the clips heavily onto the counter.
Bah! You're just a piece of junk food!
