Chapter 3 Ye Yun, kiss him...

The gate was rudely pushed open by a group of young men, who filed in one after another, each carrying a hoe, and they crowded the yard with an aggressive air.

The surrounding guests fell silent in fright, the children cried, and the scene became a complete mess.

The last to enter the courtyard were Zhao Wensheng and his mother. Zhao Wensheng also took a hoe and looked around for something after entering the courtyard.

"Ye Yun! Come out here!"

"I've brought people to pick you up!"

Unlike his dark-skinned, rough cousins, Zhao Wensheng had rosy lips and white teeth, wore a white shirt and refined black-rimmed glasses, standing out among the poorly dressed villagers, looking like an artistic young man from the city who had come to the countryside.

Ye Yun deserves much credit for the fact that he was able to raise his children so well in the impoverished mountain village.

In contrast, Ye Yun, because she secretly saved money for Zhao Wensheng's tuition, was reluctant to eat or dress well and worked in an illegal workshop, sometimes going hungry and sometimes full, which caused her body to deteriorate at a young age.

Zhao Wensheng used all that money to date other girls.

Ye Yun only learned about these things later.

If she had seen through Zhao Wensheng's true colors earlier, she wouldn't have been deceived so badly by him, nor would she have been instigated by him to fall out with Qin Zheng, let Qin Zheng down, and end up with a tragic end.

Qin Zheng naturally saw Zhao Wensheng as well.

When rivals meet, their eyes blaze with hatred, and Qin Zheng's face darkened visibly.

He originally intended to let Ye Yun go, but he couldn't resist after seeing Zhao Wensheng.

"You're going to go with someone like this?" He pointed at Zhao Wensheng, who was as thin as a chicken, through the window, his fierce face looking like he could devour someone.

But this was Ye Yun's choice.

Even if he disliked Zhao Wensheng, a hypocritical scholar, he had no right to interfere with Ye Yun's decision.

Before Ye Yun could speak, Qin Zheng released her hand, clearing a path for her to leave, and said fiercely, "Ye Yun, if you want to leave, I won't stop you!"

nonsense!

Unpleasant words just slip out; it's all for the sake of a quick, satisfying retort.

He said the same thing in his previous life, but before she could even step out the door, he carried her back to the kang (a heated brick bed) and tied her tightly with his belt. His reckless brothers then beat Zhao Wensheng half to death, leaving a trail of injuries.

This guy is incredibly stubborn, but he's actually incredibly ruthless inside.

Fearing that Qin Zheng would ruin his reputation again, Ye Yun quickly grabbed the man's hand and gently comforted him, "Qin Zheng, I won't leave."

Qin Zheng's face remained cold.

He didn't believe Ye Yun's nonsense. He had heard before that Ye Yun had someone in her heart and liked that person very much. Now she was forced to marry him, so it was normal for her to want to elope with that person.

Looking at Qin Zheng's gloomy face, Ye Yun thought for a moment and made a major decision.

"Qin Zheng, there might be some misunderstanding between us, but don't worry, now that I've married you, I'm yours." After saying that, Ye Yun stood on tiptoe and kissed the man on the cheek.

Qin Zheng's pupils dilated.

Ye Yun looked at him with gentle and earnest eyes, all her words condensed into the most ordinary sentence: "Wait for me, I'll be right back."

Then, she walked past Qin Zheng toward the crowd outside who were discussing the matter.

Qin Zheng stood blankly at the doorway, and it took him a long time to regain his senses. He touched his face and stared at the slender figure that had already walked away with a somewhat uncertain look in his eyes.

Ye Yun, kiss him...

At the same time, Ye Yun was met with countless strange looks as soon as she stepped out of the house.

And she immediately spotted Zhao Wensheng hiding behind the crowd. A surge of hatred welled up within her, a fierce and overwhelming surge that coursed through her like a raging flood.
