Chapter 405 is finished, she loves it so much.

"Go ahead, look at him, what good thing could he want to do for you?" Qin Xiang'e took the ointment from her hand and said she would apply it herself, urging her to hurry up.

Although she didn't know why Qin Zheng was laughing like that, she understood Qin Zheng.

Ye Yun had no choice but to clap her hands and get up, saying gently, "Then you can apply the medicine yourself first, I'll be back in a bit."

"No rush, no rush."

Qin Xiang'e waved her hand, wishing she could stay with Qin Zheng a little longer.

"Wife." Qin Zheng couldn't wait to walk towards her, taking her hand with his warm, large hand and leading her towards the old bicycle by the door. "Come on, I'll show you something good."

Ye Yun was suspicious.

Following Qin Zheng to the bicycle, we saw him pick up a bag of things wrapped in cloth from the back seat.

"Wife, look!"

The cloth bag was suddenly ripped open, and colorful flowers instantly appeared before Ye Yun's eyes.

Wow.

Even though Ye Yun had prepared in advance, she couldn't help but feel an unexpected surprise when she saw the flowers.

"Honey, do you like them?" Qin Zheng handed the flowers to her with a simple, honest smile.

The freshly picked flowers still have glistening dewdrops clinging to their petals or stamens.

Wild lisianthus, aster, anemone, and coriander are the main wildflowers, interspersed with some small white flowers whose names I don't know, all gathered into a pinkish-purple bouquet, exuding the fresh fragrance of flowers.

Ye Yun accepted the flowers and couldn't resist gently sniffing them.

A glistening dewdrop touched the tip of her nose, cool and comforting, making her involuntarily curl the corners of her lips into a smile.

"Where did you pick it?"

"There are so many flowers blooming on the back hill."

"Just picked?"

Ye Yun looked up at him, her lips slightly curved, her gaze so gentle it seemed to melt hearts.

Qin Zheng felt embarrassed by her gaze, scratched the back of his head, and said with a hint of embarrassment, "Honey, didn't you say you didn't have an appetite? I figured you were just in a bad mood. Girls like flowers, so I went to the back hill and picked some. Are you satisfied?"

Of course she was satisfied.

Even the most depressed mood vanishes the moment you see flowers.

She loved it to death.

Oh no, she loves it so much, what should I do?

"Brother Zheng? Sister-in-law? Why are you laughing like that?" Just then, a sleazy shout came from the bottom of the slope.

Erdanzi, hands in his pockets, swaggered up the slope, grinning at Qin Zheng and Ye Yun. He also noticed the flowers in Ye Yun's hand. "Oh? These flowers are quite pretty. Where did you get them, sister-in-law?"

As he spoke, he reached out to grab one.

Ye Yun quickly tucked the flowers into her bosom, defiantly refusing Erdanzi's cruel touch, "Don't touch them, Qin Zheng picked these especially for me."

"Hey hey hey, did Zheng-ge just pick these for you?" Erdanzi grinned and withdrew his hand, his ambiguous gaze lingering between Qin Zheng and Ye Yun. He chuckled, "So you were laughing like that just now because my Zheng-ge gave you flowers?"

What else?

Ye Yun fiddled with the flowers in her hand, becoming happier the more she looked at them. "No girl dislikes receiving flowers."

Receiving flowers means you feel valued and that someone cares about you.

"Is that so..."

Erdanzi overheard her words, frowned, lowered his head, and fell into deep thought. Did Qianqian also like flowers?

"How's it going with that girl from Maolou?" Qin Zheng asked calmly, seeing his expression.

As one of Erdanzi's few friends, and given that Erdanzi had often taken care of his grandmother and Qin Xiang'e, Qin Zheng was quite concerned about his brother's marriage.

Erdanzi's expression hardened slightly upon hearing this.

"It's just so-so..." He sighed, his expression slightly downcast.

The gifts he sent didn't change Qianqian's family's opinion of him much. Perhaps his previous inappropriate behavior had caused them to have a deep misunderstanding of him, and they still wouldn't agree to let Qianqian spend time with him.

The only saving grace was that Qianqian's family finally let him in the door on the day he brought his things.

Before that, if he dared to show up at Qianqian's door, he would definitely be beaten by Qianqian's father or brother, or he would be chased and beaten by Qianqian's mother with a big broom and run away in a panic.

That's truly tragic.

Ye Yun shook her head. "So what do you plan to do now?"

"I still want to learn how to drive a small truck from Qianqian's brother," Erdanzi said. "Actually, I also want to go out and make a living. I know that only by going out and making a living will I have more opportunities, but I don't dare. First, my family's conditions don't allow it, and second, I don't dare to go too far away from Qianqian. I'm afraid that if I leave, Qianqian's family will marry her off to someone else. If I go with Qianqian's brother, at least I can stay with her. Although Qianqian doesn't like me, I... sigh."

He's so stubborn; he just thinks Qianqian is prettier than all the other girls.

He had actually been on blind dates. Although his family was not well-off, he was a good person. He was tall, strong, and not ugly except for being a little thin. He was always willing to lend a hand to anyone in the village who needed help, so the villagers had a good opinion of him.

My ancestors were poor peasants, but their class background was considered honorable.

With his looks and qualifications, he would be more than a match for a girl from an ordinary family.

After all, most families in this world are just as poor as he is. There are some people who are good in terms of personal conditions but poor in terms of family conditions. For example, a matchmaker from the next village came to him a few days ago and proposed a good marriage.

The girl's biological father drove his tractor into a ditch and was run over and killed, leaving her and her sick and frail mother behind.

No dowry, no luxury goods, the only condition is that she brings her mother with her when she marries into the family.

The girl was quite pretty, two years younger than him. She said she liked him because he was honest and filial, and that he could take care of his paralyzed father and help his deceased sister raise her little niece. She believed he must be a loyal and righteous person, and that marrying him would prevent her and her mother from suffering.

But he just didn't feel anything.

Even if the other person is good-looking, supporting another mother-in-law is just another mouth to feed, but when he met that girl, he had no intention of getting married.

Looking at the girl's face, Qianqian's image kept floating through his mind.

Qianqian was really not gentle with him. She would avoid him whenever she saw him, and if she couldn't avoid him, she would scratch him, pinch him, and call him a pervert. But he just liked her little temper. She was just like his little hedgehog. How exciting!

If it weren't for his mother's threats, he wouldn't have wanted to go on dates with other girls.

Unfortunately, Qianqian didn't like him, and her family looked down on him even more. No matter how much he liked Qianqian, it was a one-man show. Why didn't Qianqian like him?

"So, the fifty yuan your brother Zheng gave you, you just threw it away?" Ye Yun asked.

"Not really." Erdan grinned, holding up two fingers with a somewhat silly air, but with a proud tone: "There are still twenty left."

"..."

Wow.

I thought you had achieved some great success.
