Chapter 119: She's getting better and better to the child's father.

"Mo Ran, don't worry," Su Ming said earnestly. "Xiao Nuan is a person of principle. She won't be a pushover. She only helps those who deserve it. She won't have any sympathy for those who are able-bodied but lazy."

“Dad, you’ve misunderstood. I just feel like I missed a lot of stories today. Those two kids need a change of clothes, so I’ll go buy them some.” Xiao Moran said. “You get out of the car first, I’ll be right back.”

"Then I'll go with you." Su Ming secretly breathed a sigh of relief. He was worried that Mo Ran would object, but now it's all good. The young couple is in perfect harmony, and Mo Ran supports whatever Xiao Nuan does.

"Okay." Xiao Moran turned the car around and drove towards the nearby market.

It only took about ten minutes to get there. I bought two outfits at the children's clothing store, from top to bottom, and a pair of sandals. Then I went to the adult store and bought two more outfits. Although Tiezhu is very thin, he is quite tall, so he can only buy clothes at the adult store.

When Su Xiaonuan arrived at the shop, she helped tidy up the storage room at Jiuya Restaurant. This storage room was behind the kitchen and separate from the restaurant, which was perfect for the Tie Zhu brothers to live in. However, the things in the storage room had to be cleared out.

Keep what's useful and put it in the storage room; get rid of all the useless stuff and throw it away.

"Boss lady, let us clean this place, just don't get your clothes dirty." After the employees learned that Su Xiaonuan was doing a good deed, they all rushed to help.

"It's alright, I'll clean it up. You guys go and greet the guests." Su Xiaonuan was already sweating profusely as she cleaned the outhouse.

The brothers Tiezhu and Tiesuo also helped out.

The employees who wanted to help couldn't squeeze in either.

Aunt Chen tried to help several times, but Su Xiaonuan stopped her each time. So, Aunt Chen and Ye Mei had no choice but to let the children play in the store.

When Xiao Moran returned, he dragged Su Xiaonuan out of the storeroom. "You don't need to do this yourself. Just leave it to your subordinates. Look at you, you've gotten yourself all dirty in just a short time. Go wash your hands and face. I'll take care of things here."

"Okay, it's yours." Su Xiaonuan clapped her hands. "The ones that needed to be thrown away have already been thrown away. Keep the rest of these. Move them all to the storage room and be careful not to crush the drinks and alcohol."

"Honey, don't worry about me. Don't you trust me to handle things?" He pushed her out. "By the way, take Tiesuo to take a shower. Tiezhu and I are enough here. Take Dad's change of clothes to the counter."

"So you went shopping for clothes?" Su Xiaonuan's gaze softened considerably as she looked at the man.

His eyes narrowed. "How could the child's father not know what the mother is thinking? That's what you call telepathy."

"Tch, who's on the same wavelength as you?" She reached out and took the iron lock, denying it aloud but secretly pleased with herself. This man was reliable and his words were becoming more and more eloquent.

Xiao Moran measured the storage room with a ruler and found that there was no room for a double bed because of the angle. So he could only put a bunk bed in there.

I made a phone call at the counter and had my subordinate deliver a bunk bed immediately; these are the kinds of beds used in factory employee dormitories.

Half an hour later, the bed arrived. He instructed his men to assemble the bed. His men were so efficient that no one had to worry about them; they even brought two sets of bedding.

Looking at the tidied-up little house, Su Xiaonuan gave Xiao Moran a thumbs up. After looking at it for a while, she directed him, "Why don't you go all the way and go outside and stretch out a rope so they can hang their clothes to dry? It's not good for Xiao Hong and Zhong Ling to hang their clothes in a poorly ventilated room. From now on, have them hang their clothes here."

"I'll do whatever the child's mother says." He went to the car and rummaged through the toolbox, found some screws and rope, and quickly set up the clothesline.

"You've worked hard!" Su Xiaonuan came over carrying a basin of hot water, with a white towel inside. "Wash your face with hot water, then come in for dinner. Everyone is waiting for you."

"Thank you, Mom!" He was somewhat flattered that she had personally brought him water to wash his face; it was quite a nice treatment. He leaned closer to her ear and whispered, "I've noticed that you're getting nicer to Dad."

"Get lost." Su Xiaonuan blushed. "Who's being nice to you? Don't be so narcissistic! I'm just worried that you'll look disheveled and ruin everyone's appetite."

After saying that, he turned and ran away, not giving him a chance to make fun of him.

Xiao Moran was overjoyed. He was making a fortune, and Xiao Nuan was also quite fond of him.

The table in the corner was already set with eight dishes and a soup.

The brothers Tiezhu and Tiesuo were also invited to sit at the table.

"Oh, the dishes are so plentiful today!" Xiao Moran sat down next to Su Xiaonuan.

"These are all made by our partners," Su Xiaonuan said, gesturing with her hands. "Please don't be shy, everyone. Feel free to comment after you've eaten."

"Yes, comments are welcome!"

Three young men ran over and stood respectfully to the side.

"Why are there three unfamiliar faces again?" Xiao Moran frowned, thinking to herself, "How come all of my business partners are so handsome?"

“They are the chefs that the three college students found yesterday.” Su Xiaonuan greatly admired these good-looking and capable young people. “I really underestimated today’s college students. They really have a business mind. They actually poached several people from some well-known restaurants to learn from them, and they are all handsome guys. The business will definitely be booming when these franchise stores near the university town open.”

"How long are you going to study here?" Xiao Moran's brows furrowed even more.

Clearly, he was unhappy.

Xiao Nuan's words just now made him jealous.

Ye Mei and Aunt Chen were focused on the child beside them and didn't notice anything amiss. Su Ming, however, did. He quickly picked up some food with his chopsticks and fed it to Su Ming. "Hmm, tastes good. This cooking skill is definitely good enough to be a master chef."

Su Xiaonuan also picked up a piece of duck meat with her chopsticks and put it in her mouth.

"How is it?" The young man who made the dish leaned forward. It was his dish, and he didn't expect the proprietress to taste it first. She was eager to get his feedback, which was the most important thing to him.

After chewing carefully, Su Xiaonuan said slowly, "Hmm, it's really good, not greasy at all, and has a fragrant aroma, but..."

"But what?" The young man became even more excited. This was the finishing touch he had been waiting for. The food at Jiuya Restaurant was so delicious, and every comment from the founder was industry experience that money couldn't buy.

"However, you shouldn't have used duck soup."

"You can tell from that?" the three young men asked in unison.

“If I can’t even tell the difference, then I don’t deserve to let you all come here to learn,” Su Xiaonuan said. “You made two small mistakes in this dish. First, you should cook the duck meat first, then chop it into pieces and arrange them in a large bowl. Instead, you chopped it into pieces first, then cooked it and arranged it in a large bowl. It looks messy and doesn’t hold its shape. Second, you shouldn’t have used duck broth instead of chicken broth. You should have sprinkled the sesame seeds on top of the duck meat, then poured in chicken broth and steamed it for 30 minutes. The flavor would have been much better. The cooking time was also wrong. So, this dish only deserves an 80.”
