“This woman is the one I told you about before, the one who stole my rich husband.” Huang Yinyin and Meng Lili have always had a good relationship.
The two grew up together and were as close as sisters. When Meng Lili heard Huang Yinyin say that, she suddenly felt a sense of inexplicable disgust towards Jiang Xue.
"Let me tell you, she doesn't want the baby in her belly. I even doubt if the baby is Ji Chen's." Meng Lili knew everything about their relationship, and of course, she found out from Huang Yinyin.
Whenever she had free time, Huang Yinyin would ask Meng Lili for advice. Every time she failed or succeeded, Meng Lili would follow behind and enjoy the sense of satisfaction.
Today, Meng Lili happened to be on the day shift, and she ran into Jiang Xue as soon as she arrived, but this time it seemed that Jiang Xue was unwilling to have an abortion.
Instead, they came for checkups and to get various medications to prevent miscarriage.
Meng Lili, who was always busy, used the hospital's phone to call Huang Yinyin's landline at the broadcasting station.
He then told Huang Yinyin everything.
She didn't think too much about it; she just wanted to tell Huang Yinyin about the progress of Jiang Xue and Ji Chen's relationship. She had initially thought that the two had no feelings for each other, but after seeing this morning, she realized that Ji Chen was trying to win her over with all his efforts.
It even felt like they were fawning over each other, which Meng Lili couldn't stand, so she called Huang Yinyin to complain.
Meng Lili was just making a casual comment; she didn't expect that her words would ignite Huang Yinyin's most sinister side.
If she had known the outcome, she wouldn't have made that call even if you killed her.
Huang Yinyin went to the hospital alone, to the place where Meng Lili got her medicine. After some subtle questioning, she learned that Jiang Xue had also come for a blood test.
"Doesn't she need an IV drip or anything this afternoon?"
Huang Yinyin secretly hoped that Jiang Xue could receive an IV drip. If Jiang Xue did, she could secretly switch the pregnancy-preserving medication with an abortion pill, then simply walk away without anyone noticing the medical malpractice.
Because she was always close to Meng Lili, and Meng Lili often took exams, Huang Yinyin accompanied her to buy all sorts of reference books. When Huang Yinyin had nothing to do, she also learned about the uses of some medicines.
“She needs to get the injection. Her morning sickness is so bad. Our doctor said it would be best to give her an IV drip so she won’t be too weak.” Meng Lili thought Huang Yinyin was just saying it casually.
She didn't take it to heart and told the whole story directly.
After Jiang Xue retrieved the report, she didn't see Huang Yinyin in the pharmacy, and neither did Meng Lili.
Huang Yinyin appeared in a white coat from who-knows-where, and put on a mask and a staff hat.
After all, the nurses are all around the same age and have similar builds, and the medical staff are all very busy. They have no sense of vigilance against such a daring and opportunistic attempt to take advantage of the situation.
No one dares to do such a thing, so most doctors focus on saving lives and rarely notice Huang Yinyin.
After getting the medicine and changing her clothes, Huang Yinyin quickly returned to find Meng Lili.
As luck would have it, Meng Lili was holding a tray and administering IV fluids to other patients.
But one of the glass bottles clearly stated "nutrient solution," and she guessed that the next one would be Jiang Xue.
"Let me carry it for you," Huang Yinyin said, taking the tray from Meng Lili.
Meng Lili was a little surprised, "Don't you have to go to work today? Why are you still wandering around here?"
