Jiang Xue, seizing the opportunity, quickly took the contract that Gu Xiaoling had prepared.
"How many sets of this item would Mr. Xu like to order?" Jiang Xue was shrewd enough to see that Mr. Xu was teasing her.
If we take it seriously, this deal is just a waste of time.
She's still seething with anger and won't give up until she secures the order.
Mr. Xu looked at the contract Jiang Xue handed him with a reluctant expression, then threw it directly to his junior manager, saying, "Just order a few pieces for your confidantes. My employees don't need this style; it's outdated."
Jiang Xue could tell that President Xu had no intention of placing an order, but she still gritted her teeth and tried on the next item.
But all he got in return was Mr. Xu shaking his head, "Not suitable, not appropriate."
All these various excuses just mean they're not going to make a decision.
“People who do business with me all have a routine. If they know what I like, they’ll definitely try to curry favor with me.” After saying that, Mr. Xu’s greasy eyes fell on Gu Xiaoling again.
"You want to do business with me without giving anything in return? Isn't that a bit insincere? I've made thousands of custom orders. Anyone could have expanded their factory if they had those orders."
Jiang Xue could see through President Xu's attitude, but she couldn't bring herself to give Gu Xiaoling away for money.
“Then we won’t do this order…” Before Jiang Xue could finish speaking, Gu Xiaoling got up and sat on President Xu’s lap without hesitation.
"Why don't you just sign the order, Mr. Xu?"
Mr. Xu's glasses instantly lit up as he wrapped his thick hands around Gu Xiaoling's waist.
"Mr. Xu, are you still placing the order?"
“It’s settled, how could it not be settled?” After saying that, President Xu took the contract from Jiang Xue’s hand.
"Don't leave tonight, stay and keep me company, and I'll sign this." Mr. Xu was a cunning old fox; he deliberately held his hand above the contract.
Gu Xiaoling, not knowing where she learned the pose, wrapped her arms around President Xu's neck.
"Whatever President Xu says goes."
Jiang Xue was anxious; she couldn't let Gu Xiaoling sell herself out for the sake of the order.
She was about to snatch the contract away, about to say, "I'm not signing the contract."
But before she could speak, Gu Xiaoling interrupted her.
"Have you signed it yet? If you have, let's go to a private room and have some drinks."
Jiang Xue frowned. How could Gu Xiaoling have been so corrupted? What would she become then? Wouldn't she have become a sinner for all time?
Jiang Xue stepped forward again to take the contract.
Gu Xiaoling slapped Jiang Xue's hand hard.
"President Xu hasn't signed yet, what are you doing here interfering?"
Jiang Xue was very anxious, but she saw Gu Xiaoling take the contract with ease.
"Two copies are made, both of which are legally binding. If you go back on your word, you'll have to pay a penalty for breach of contract."
After Gu Xiaoling finished speaking, she got up without hesitation.
"President Xu, wait for me. I'll go back and change my clothes now, and then I'll come over to sleep with you tonight."
Mr. Xu finally came to his senses. Gu Xiaoling had been faking it all. She looked like a little white rabbit, but she was actually pretending to be a weak big bad wolf.
He's a seasoned veteran, yet he was tricked by a little kid.
"Do you think you can leave? Let's talk about it after you can take the contract with you."
At this moment, Mr. Xu realized that something was wrong and rushed up to tear up Jiang Xue's contract.
Jiang Xue grabbed Gu Xiaoling and ran.
