Grandma Sheng felt that her daughter-in-law was too aloof and didn't flatter her, which naturally made her angry.
She felt that her mother-in-law was superior to her daughter-in-law.
Who would have thought that Mrs. Sheng would not flatter her at all, and would even contradict her from time to time, making her lose face, which made her angry.
