Just as Su Jianwei was about to turn her head, Lu Zheng had already gently pressed her shoulders.
"I'll help you."
Lu Zheng didn't mention how amazed he was when he saw her. Now he just wanted to do something for her, even if it was just a pair of earrings.

"Do I look good?" Su Jianwei looked at him with a playful tone.
Lu Zheng nodded seriously, "You are beautiful."
Su Jianwei turned around, looked at Lu Zheng and said, "So what do you think of me wearing this to the banquet?"
"Whatever you like."
"And you?"
"My opinion doesn't matter."
"This is your own body, you have the right to show its beauty." Just like he secretly wanted to show his figure to Su Jianwei some time ago.
Yes, ever since Lu Zheng discovered that Su Jianwei seemed to like his figure, he wanted to show it to Su Jianwei whenever he had the chance.

"I belong to you."
Lu Zheng explained: "We are married, and I already belong to you."

"Then I don't belong to you?"

No matter why they got married, Lu Zheng was her husband and of course he belonged to her.

Su Jianwei sighed helplessly, wondering why the topic suddenly turned off track.
Lu Zheng smiled and said, "I understand what you mean. I won't do that."

"I am your husband, not your prison warden. My responsibility is to protect this beauty and prevent it from being harmed."

Lu Zheng was surprised, with a hint of loss in his eyes.
Su Jianwei looked at Lu Zheng who stood up and remained silent, and suddenly felt a little guilty. He had just told her that he would not lie, but she lied to him. He wouldn't be angry, right?
"Are you angry?"
Lu Zheng shook his head, "No."
He just felt a little uncomfortable in his chest. Since this had never happened before, he didn't quite understand why he was feeling unhappy.
Lu Zheng glanced at Su Jianwei's lips with regret and straightened his back.
"Then lower your head."
Lu Zheng looked at Su Jianwei in confusion. Although he was deceived once, he still lowered his head obediently.
