Su Jianwei looked at Lu Zheng suspiciously and continued what he had just said, "Maybe Xiaoyu has fallen asleep."
As Su Jianwei finished speaking, a shrill scream suddenly rang out in the silent night, and Lu Zheng sighed.
"What's going on?"
As Su Jianwei spoke, she wanted to go to the window. For some reason, her heart beat faster and faster.
Before she reached the window, Su Jianwei was held in Lu Zheng's arms. He confessed, "Someone jumped from the building."
Su Jianwei's body stiffened, and then her scalp went numb. She pushed away Lu Zheng who was holding her and started running towards Xia Yu's ward.
"slight!"
Su Jianwei ran to Xia Yu's ward in one breath, but the door of Xia Yu's ward was closed.
She stood in front of Xia Yu's ward door, her right hand trembling as she tried to push the door open, but she pushed it once and it didn't open. She continued to push, but it still didn't open.
"Summer rain! Summer rain!"
Su Jianwei stretched out his hand and knocked on the door of the ward, the sound getting louder each time.
Just as Lu Zheng was about to help Su Jianwei kick the door open, Bater ran over with a lunch box.
"Xia Yu, open the door!"
Bater rushed to the door, and Lu Zheng took Su Jianwei in his arms.
Bater called out to the door but it didn't open, so he kicked it open in desperation. However, after kicking the door open, all he saw was an empty bed, an open window and fluttering curtains.
As Bater walked forward, his legs went weak and he fell to the ground, but then he got up and ran towards the window.
Everything happened so fast. When Lu Zheng let go of Su Jianwei and went to pull Bater, Su Jianwei walked towards the bedside table of Xia Yu's bed as if possessed.
There was only a note and two letters there.
There was a passbook next to the note, and on it was written:
Dear Dr. Zhang, I’m sorry.
Please forgive my selfishness for causing trouble to the hospital. The money in the passbook is my compensation to your hospital. Please use the excess to dispose of my body.
If possible, please cremate my body and give the ashes to my friend Ms. Su Jianwei.
Thank you and your hospital for treating me, thank you.
Again, sorry.
Summer rain.
