Chapter Ninety-One: Madam Chen's Past



My best friend held her son and gently patted his back, her voice exceptionally soft.

Mrs. Chen's face first turned deathly pale, then flushed a deep liver color. "And how much better are you yourself? Do you have any less of a dark past than I do?"

“We used to be the same kind of people, neither of us was more noble than the other, but things are different now. I have nothing left, but you are doing better and better. Why?” Her best friend’s face was full of resentment.

"We're both shameless sluts who sleep with anyone, so why are you happier than me? I'm not afraid of being ruined now. I'm not afraid of anything except you, hahahaha."

“The child is innocent. If you spare the child, I can adopt your son. I swear I will treat your son as my own son. No, I will treat your son even better than my own son.” Mrs. Chen was practically kneeling in front of her best friend to swear an oath.

"If I treat you like this today, how can you possibly treat my son well in the future? In order to ensure that my son can grow up safely and happily, I must take your son away, so that you won't dare to mistreat my son." A mad glint flashed in the best friend's eyes.

She deliberately caused Madam Chen pain so that she could find peace of mind.
