Chapter 12012 Don't Touch Me
Yun Sheng hid in the corner and refused to show up.
Xie Zhan frowned and strode forward. The powerful and oppressive feeling from the man came over him, enveloping Yun Sheng tightly.
She was forced to take a few steps back, her hands resting on the rocks behind her. Her fingers tensed up until they gradually closed together. Yun Sheng bit her lip and said, "Uncle, this is the Princess's residence."
The young lady's voice was a little heavy, as if to remind him that this was not a place where he could do anything stupid.
Xie Zhan just found it funny. He clamped Yun Sheng's chin with his big hand, moved closer and asked, "Are you still afraid of me?"
Yun Sheng lowered her eyes, hiding the anger in them. Of course she was afraid of him. At first it was a physical fear, but now it was a panic about the unknown future.
She never wanted to be a concubine of a wealthy family. She only hoped that her husband would pass the imperial examination and marry her, and that the couple could live their own lives and have two lovely children.
But now, all of this was about to be destroyed by him. Princess Anle's words just now gave her a glimmer of hope.
Yun Sheng suppressed the bitterness in her heart and looked up at him. "Princess Anle loves my uncle. I know I am too weak to serve you. I beg you to let me go. I promise to stay away from you from now on. I will keep this matter to myself forever and pretend it never happened."
She couldn't confront Xie Zhan head-on, so she could only try to persuade him with reason. He hadn't been overly pushy in the past few days, which gave Yun Sheng the illusion that if she tried harder, he might let her go.
Xie Zhan gently stroked her cheek with his fingertips and sneered, "After thinking for so long, this is the only reply you can come up with? Yun Sheng, I don't have that much patience."
He glanced at her gravely and said slowly, "As for whether this marquis marries the princess or not, it has nothing to do with you and me. What are you so happy about?"
"I... I didn't." Xie Zhan's eyes were too sharp, as if he could see through her. Yun Sheng tilted her head.
She swallowed nervously and whispered, "A princess of noble birth would never share a husband with anyone else. For your uncle's own good, he shouldn't bother with me, his niece-in-law, any longer."
Xie Zhan laughed: "So what? Since you don't want to be my concubine, do you want to be my mistress?"
Concubine?
Yun Sheng's pupils widened, and his rosy face suddenly lost all color, turning pale and wilted.
A concubine is not even as good as a concubine. If anyone knows about it, they will be despised. She is also a girl from a good family, from a decent background. Why does he treat her like this?
Yun Sheng's almond-shaped eyes were wet with tears and she sobbed silently.
She originally thought that marrying the princess into the marquis's mansion would save her life, but Xie Zhan was so shameless that he wanted to place her outside as a concubine without the princess's knowledge.
No matter which one it was, Yun Sheng knew that he only treated her as a toy to play with.
Xie Zhan carefully glanced at her tear-stained face and just wanted to say a few words to her.
You were being stubborn with him just now, but now you’re scared?
"Shengniang, what are you doing here?" A clear male voice from a distance broke the silence.
Then came the voice of a maid: "My dear, I just saw the lady you mentioned walking this way. She should be here soon."
"Hey, why is there no one here? Did my wife go far away?"
Xie Qingyuan bowed and said, "Thank you for leading the way, young lady. I will look around for a while."
The maidservant still had things to do, so she didn't continue the polite conversation. The only voice left around was Xie Qingyuan's.
He had just suffered a setback at the shooting range, and if he stayed any longer, he would only be the laughing stock of everyone. Xie Qingyuan was worried that Yun Sheng would be bullied even more in such an occasion, so he thought of going to the backyard to check, but unexpectedly ran into Mrs. Xie, Xie Yulan, on the way.
It had been nearly a month since he entered the mansion, and this was the first time he had spoken to Madam Xie in private.
Different from the gentle and beautiful Second Lady Xie Tinglan, the First Lady can only be described as dignified and virtuous. She has the bearing of a legitimate daughter and a hint of arrogance.
Because her biological brother Xie Minghao repeatedly humiliated and harassed him, Xie Qingyuan kept his distance from this lady.
He hadn't expected the other person to come forward and talk first: "Mr. Yuan, are you going to look for Madam Yun? She's not in the backyard. The maid said she was going out for a walk just now and hasn't come back yet."
Xie Qingyuan was stunned for a moment.
Seeing that he remained silent for a long time, the lady looked annoyed and angry. She said angrily, "Why are you staring at me? Are you thinking that I'm plain and unbearable to look at, and are you secretly laughing at me in your heart?"
Xie Qingyuan secretly thought that it was not good, the brother and sister really had the same temperament.
Girls love beauty and naturally pay attention to their appearance.
He quickly bowed his head and apologized, "Madam, you are precious and I was disrespectful and distracted. I hope you will forgive me."
"You think I'm beautiful?"
Xie Qingyuan raised his eyes slightly, startled, and saw out of the corner of his eye that the lady's face was a little red.
His thoughts turned to pieces, and he praised her somewhat unwillingly, "The lady is indeed beautiful."
The other party seemed to be in a good mood. He looked at him carefully before turning and leaving.
Xie Qingyuan was a little absent-minded, and thinking of Yun Sheng, he came all the way back to look for her.
"Sheng Niang, Sheng Niang..."
Yun Sheng heard Xie Qingyuan calling her, and his footsteps were getting closer and closer, her wet eyes were complex and contradictory.
She was fed up with the anxiety of the past few days and couldn't even sleep well at night.
Yun Sheng was afraid that Xie Qingyuan would find out that Xie Zhan coveted her, and she was afraid that he would be caught in a dilemma. She felt a barrier and resentment in her heart, but now she was secretly hoping that he would come and see her. It was better than hiding it all the time and making her unable to sleep or eat.
"Shengniang, are you there?"
"I..." Yun Sheng closed her eyes. For a moment, she really wanted to give up. Maybe after her husband knew about it, her cousin would restrain himself a little, and they could still live like before.
The next moment, a warm and rich breath invaded her ears. Xie Zhan seemed to be mocking her: "Why don't you shout? Louder."
He leaned so close that Yun Sheng felt an itch on her neck, and she subconsciously shrank back. Then she heard him say, "If he really saw us, do you think Xie Qingyuan believed that I was forcing you, or that you were trying to climb up the social ladder and seduce me?"
Yun Sheng couldn't believe it, her whole body trembling. For the first time, she ignored the difference between high and low and glared at him angrily: "My husband, he won't do that. He won't do that."
She murmured softly, not knowing who she was trying to convince.
"Are you so sure? Even if he believes you, Mrs. Qian will also believe you?" Xie Zhan narrowed his eyes and pinched Yun Sheng's throat with a sharp move.
Yun Sheng lost his spirit and remained silent for a long time.
Mrs. Qian would not believe her, and she, who had been so aggressive just now, suddenly relaxed a little.
Xie Zhan frowned, not liking her lifeless look. Was she forced to be so compromising just to serve him, living a life worse than death?
His rough, slightly calloused fingertips slowly moved to Yun Sheng's slightly trembling red lips, rubbed them lightly, and then wiped off the lip balm on them.
"What's worse, once he knows, he will offer you to me."
Yun Sheng felt a chill in her heart, as if he were a fierce ghost out to take her life. Every word he spoke could plunge her into an eternal hell.
She shook her head randomly and said to herself, "Uncle, there's no need to sow discord. My husband won't do that."
Yun Sheng appeared calm on the surface, but he had actually lost some of his mind.
But she still believed him. In Yun Sheng's heart, Xie Qingyuan was like the bright moon hanging high in the sky, a gentleman with the noble character of a scholar. He would never do such a thing as selling his wife for fame.
Not to mention, apart from the love between men and women, they also have the affection of growing up together. How could Yun Sheng not believe him?
"If you really believed him, why didn't you tell him everything when you returned home that afternoon?" Xie Zhan said coldly, then said lightly, "In the final analysis, it's because he's incompetent."
Yun Sheng's eyes were red, and she stammered, "Shameless. It's clearly you who's shameless. What gives you the right to say that about him? My husband is talented, but he wasn't born into a powerful family."
Xie Zhan's expression darkened, and he sneered, "You think highly of him. How come this mouth of yours can't say a single nice word that this Marquis would like to hear?"
His captivating gaze fell coldly on Yun Sheng's cherry lips. Yun Sheng felt a chill down her spine. She pursed her lips tightly and said, "You...what do you want to do?"
Xie Zhan said nothing. In front of Yun Sheng's horrified eyes, he pried open her tightly closed lips with his two slender fingers and reached inside.
The young lady's pink tongue was smooth and soft. Xie Zhan pressed and rubbed it randomly with his fingertips, finding that piece of soft flesh and stirring it around and playing with it wantonly.
The man's fingers were long and wide, almost reaching the bottom of her throat. Yun Sheng felt like retching because of him, and her transparent saliva slid down the corners of her lips that were forced open to her jaw.
Her eyes were filled with tears, and she was so blocked by him that she couldn't say a word. She could only stare at him angrily with her pure and clean almond-shaped eyes.
Xie Zhan grabbed her arms as she tried to move away from him, and he increased the strength in his hands. He wondered what such a soft tongue would taste like.
Xie Qingyuan's voice calling her gradually disappeared, replaced by Yun Sheng's hesitant moans.
Seeing that her face was red from holding it in, Xie Zhan finally showed mercy and withdrew his long fingers from her little mouth, removing the bright red lip balm that was left behind, leaving a sticky, transparent layer of water.
His calm eyes dimmed slightly, and he used two long, wet fingers covered with Yun Sheng's saliva to press and rub her lips, then slid them heavily across her face.
Yun Sheng turned his face away and said stiffly, "Don't touch me."
Xie Zhan pretended not to hear. He stood up, took out a handkerchief from his arms, and slowly wiped his fingers.
Then he lifted his eyelids and looked at Yun Sheng, who seemed to be angry with him, and chuckled softly, "It's your own thing, why should you dislike it?"
Yun Sheng's eyes were sore, he wanted to cry but couldn't, and a feeling of sadness welled up in his heart, and he didn't know where to go.
She raised her hand and brushed her cheek and the corner of her lips with the hem of her sleeve, as if this could erase all traces left by Xie Zhan.
Xie Zhan looked at her coldly, a ball of anger rising in his chest.
The man left with a flick of his sleeves. Yun Sheng straightened her skirt. She calmed down and returned to the backyard.
As soon as Yun Sheng entered the pavilion, the Duke of Pingyang's gaze involuntarily fell on her. Recalling his grandmother's question about which girl he favored, Yun Sheng's face flashed through his mind, but he ultimately shook his head, rejecting his grandmother's kindness.
He had asked his maid to inquire about it. Although Madam Yun and Mr. Xie, who was staying at the Dingbei Marquis's residence, were known as brother and sister in public, people actually said they were an engaged couple.
Since the goddess has other intentions, why should he bother himself with trouble?
When the banquet was over, Princess Shoukang saw that her grandson had lost interest and she felt tired all of a sudden, so she waved her hand and asked someone to send the guest away.
On the way back to the Hou Mansion, Yun Sheng was still in the same car with Xie Qingyuan and Xie Zhan. Xie Qingyuan glanced at Yun Sheng and suddenly asked, "Sheng Niang, where did you go after dinner? I looked for you for a long time, but there was no sign of you."
Yun Sheng was absent-minded and forced a smile: "I was just taking a walk. I'm sorry to have made my husband worried."
"It's okay, as long as you haven't been bullied." Xie Qingyuan rubbed his hands, then stared at her slightly swollen lips and asked curiously, "Shengniang, what's wrong with your mouth? It looks red all over."
Yun Sheng clenched her palms, subconsciously avoiding his gaze, and whispered, "Nothing. Maybe I ate too much spicy food at the banquet just now. I'll drink more tea later."
After she finished speaking, she saw Xie Zhan curl the corners of his lips.
Xie Qingyuan hummed twice perfunctorily, lost in thought for a moment. Just before getting on the carriage, Mrs. Xie glanced at him twice, seemingly intentionally or not. He didn't know if it was his illusion.
Xie Zhan glanced at Xie Qingyuan and took in his expression.
