Chapter 19 Tan Zhuoyan Moves to the Study Room
Liu Mingyue still remembered what Zhou Baili said before her death in her previous life. The jade pendant that could prove her mother's identity was later obtained by Aunt Zhao. Eventually, Aunt Zhao took on her mother's identity, recognized her ancestry, and lived a very happy life.
"Hiss!" A heart-wrenching pain suddenly drilled out of her heart, causing Liu Mingyue to frown in pain. She dropped the dishes in her hands onto the table, making a messy noise.
Peanut and Guihua, who were eating outside, heard the noise inside and hurriedly put down their bowls and chopsticks and rushed over. They saw their master holding the edge of the table with his hands, his face was pale and his facial features were wrinkled. The rice was spilled on the table. They both cried out in surprise when they saw this.
"Madam! What's wrong with you? I'll go get a doctor for you!" Peanut said as he ran out, but his sleeve was pulled out.
"No need, it just hurt for a moment. I think I'm tired." Liu Mingyue waved her hands. She had never had heartache before, and her pulse was normal. It should be just because of fatigue. Going to ask a doctor now would cause trouble and mobilize a large number of people.
Peanut and Osmanthus looked at each other, both of them were a little worried, but Liu Mingyue quickly adjusted her state.
"It's fine with me. After dinner, tell someone to prepare water for bathing. I want to bathe early and then go to bed." Liu Mingyue said softly. When she returned home three days later, the most important thing she would do was to remind her mother of the importance of the jade pendant and ask her to keep it safe.
The jade pendant is an important clue to the mother’s identity and cannot be given to Aunt Zhao and Zhou Qianqian, mother and daughter.
After taking a bath in the evening and changing into clean clothes, Liu Mingyue heard someone talking outside the door, as if someone was coming.
"What's wrong?" Liu Mingyue took a wooden hairpin from the dressing table and tied up her waterfall-like hair, then pushed the door open and asked.
The person outside the door was Tan Zhuoyan's wet nurse. When she saw Liu Mingyue, she bowed and said, "Madam, the prince will bring people over here to pack up after dinner. I came to inform you in advance."
The nanny lowered her head slightly, and although her tone of voice was not domineering, her attitude was indeed cold. However, she was the prince's wet nurse, and her status was different from that of other nannies. Her status was also higher than that of other servants.
"I understand." Liu Mingyue was stunned, and remembered that such an incident did happen the day after her wedding, which she almost forgot.
Tan Zhuoyan hated her so much that she did not stay in her room on the wedding day, and certainly would not sleep in the same room with her in the future.
It seemed that the nanny did not expect that Liu Mingyue, as a new bride, would be so calm in the face of her husband's cold treatment. A hint of surprise flashed in her eyes.
"If there is nothing else, I will take my leave first." The nanny bowed and left.
"Madam, the prince's actions..." Huasheng was indignant and wanted to speak for her master, but Liu Mingyue raised her hand to stop her.
The woman smiled calmly: "It would be better to clean it up, so that there will be more space in the house. I am so happy."
After nightfall, Qin Zhuoyan led a group of servants and strong women to Liu Mingyue's residence.
In fact, this was originally Tan Zhuoyan's house. After Liu Mingyue got married, they should live together.
How could Qin Zhuoyan bear to sleep in the same bed with Liu Mingyue? He also didn't care about Liu Mingyue's reputation as the Crown Prince's Consort. He had nothing to do with bringing so many people here, and he didn't care that his wife would be laughed at.
"Go and move this prince's things out of the main house. Don't leave anything behind. Move them all to the study." The man's voice was clear and unquestionable, and there was no hint of concealment in his tone.
