Chapter 6 The Belated Dowry

"Miss!" The two maids saw their master, and the uneasiness in their eyes faded away. They walked to the master happily and bowed. They were Liu Mingyue's personal maids, and they were supposed to go out with her yesterday, but they did not go out with her master yesterday.
It was not that Huasheng and Guihua did not want to, but it was the Zhou family mistress's order. They waited until the next day to deliver the dowry and her maid to Dingbei Marquis's mansion. Liu Mingyue knew the reason why the Zhou family did this.
The Zhou family was simply worried that the replacement marriage would displease the Marquis' Mansion and that the Marquis' Mansion would send the person back to the Zhou Mansion, so they did not send the maid and the dowry to the Marquis Dingbei Mansion together in order to save trouble.
