Chapter 531 Extra: "My Fantasy Journey with the Stars (V)" (2/2)

The tea party was coming to an end, and Xing wanted to take some fertilizer for planting trees, so Ah Hu took us away.

Before getting the fertilizer, Ah Hu took Xing and me to stroll in the Infinite Corridor to see this magnificent building that embodies the wisdom of the entire etheric civilization.

The first place I saw was the office of the former Star Witch, which was actually no different from an ordinary office.

The person in charge of this office, the Sage of Starlight, came to us. After he exchanged greetings with Xing, he took us to a special area - the Star Map Space.

This place seems to be independent of the Star Law Corridor. It is a quiet void flowing with starlight.

Countless tiny points of light, like star dust, flow slowly, outlining a complex and mysterious trajectory.

Some huge, translucent star maps were suspended in the void, marked with ancient constellations and prophetic runes, but most of them were dim.

The air is filled with a quiet, distant and slightly lonely atmosphere.

"This is the space left behind by the former Star Witch Casinya." The Starlight Sage said with a hint of nostalgia, "She was worried that after her death, we would lose the ability to respond to crises quickly, so she built this space for us."

The moment the stars stepped into this space, the star map seemed to sense something, and the stars embedded in the void lit up.

She stretched out her hand and gently brushed her fingertips over the slowly flowing stardust spots.

Those spots of light seemed to be awakened, spinning slightly faster around her fingertips, emitting an extremely faint humming sound like a sigh.

I can feel a very complex emotional fluctuation coming from the star: respect for the predecessors, resonance with the power of the source, and nostalgia for the passing time...

Xing didn't say anything, but just stood quietly in front of the dim star maps, staring at the illusory stars twinkling in the void.

After a long time, she exhaled softly and whispered: "Casinya...she looked very far away."

Ah Hu also said with regret: "Yes, Casinya has considered a lot, even what will happen after her death."

"Xing, the person that Casinya asked me to wait for is definitely you." Ah Hu said with shining eyes.

Xing shook his head helplessly.

Leaving the star map space, Ah Hu led us through a space gate composed of pure energy that fluctuated like a water curtain in a familiar manner.

The view in front of me suddenly became clear, and the scene was completely different from the quiet starry sky just now.

This is a huge, pure color space composed purely of geometric lines and smooth planes.

There are no walls, no domes, only an infinitely extending plane and a platform suspended above it, emitting a cold and dim light.

Countless fine energy flows, like the patterns on a circuit board, flowing and interweaving under the feet and in the air.

Countless light screens of varying sizes, made of polished crystal, were suspended in the air, refreshing massive amounts of data streams, surveillance footage, case files, and wanted notices at an astonishing speed.

In the center is a huge suspended judgement seat made of multi-faceted energy crystals.

At this moment, the judgement seat was empty, but the entire space was filled with an invisible sense of oppression.

"This is Sister Moira's court." Ah Hu curled his lips, seeming not to like the atmosphere here.

"All public security incidents that occur inside and outside the Ether Civilization will be summarized and processed here." She pointed to the light screens, "Those are the windows of the Ether Network. Moira often processes files through these windows. Sometimes, if a public security incident with a huge impact occurs, she will need to go through it in person."

Leaving the cold courtroom, Ah Hu led us through a door made of vines and glowing flowers that exuded a strong breath of life.

The scene before us made Xing and I feel a little amazed.

This place is like a huge greenhouse garden covered by a crystal dome, but the center is not soil, but a slowly rotating pool of liquid energy emitting a soft blue-green glow.

The pool water is not real water, but a highly concentrated, specially processed mixture of etheric energy and life essence.

Countless tiny points of life, like fireflies, dance on the surface of the pool.

In the pool, embryos of various shapes are floating - some are wrapped in light cocoons with vague outlines; there are crystal minerals that are like beating hearts; there are seeds that are slowly weaving into complex vine structures; there are even several translucent, shapeless elemental cores that are absorbing the energy in the pool water and gradually condensing.

"This is the Creation Pool." said Ah Hu.

"Some newborns of special races in the Infinite Corridor, as well as those magical plants and elemental life forms that require a special environment to grow, are all born here! They are maintained by some elves and life wizards." She pointed to several elf wizards wearing light green robes and guiding the flow of energy by the pool.

Suddenly, Ah Hu tightly grasped Xing's hand, his dark eyes flashing with excitement and anticipation, and he said something shocking: "Xing! As long as we each provide a drop of blood and throw it into this creation pool, we can give birth to a child belonging to both of us!"

Xing was obviously stunned, then he quickly pulled his hand away, not knowing whether to laugh or cry, and waved his hand, saying, "For the time being... I don't have any plans in this regard."

Xing's eyes swept over me subconsciously.

Ah Hu immediately caught the subtle movement of the girl, pouted her lips, and turned to me with a scrutinizing and a little aggrieved look: "Xing, are you afraid that she will mind?"

She pointed at me, and then, as if a light bulb had turned on for her, she suggested, "Then...then why don't you have a baby with her? That would be fair, right?"

The air froze instantly.

Xing and I fell into a moment of silence.

Xing held his forehead with his hand, his eyes full of suspicion: "Ah Hu, you brought us here to visit, isn't it for this purpose?"

Ah Hu's thoughts were exposed, his cheeks slightly reddened, he smiled awkwardly, not daring to look into Xing's eyes again, and quickly changed the subject: "Ahaha... well, let's look somewhere else! By the way, the historical corridor is in front! It records the origin of the Ether civilization..."

She pulled us hurriedly away from the Creation Pool and through a portal that continuously rotated inward.

The corridor is bottomless and the walls are not made of rock but are composed of countless flowing mercury-like lights and shadows. In the lights and shadows, fragments from the long years of Ether Civilization keep flashing: the ancient tribe lighting the first bonfire of civilization, the coronation ceremony of the glorious dynasty, the disaster that tore the sky apart, the flash of wisdom when the unknown wizard suddenly realized, the magnificent moment when the interstellar fleet set sail... These fragments of history flow, intertwine, and annihilate silently, like a long and endless river of time.

"This is the history book of the Ether Civilization." Ah Hu's voice echoed in the corridor, saying, "From its birth to the present day, all the glory, suffering, turning points and moments have been recorded and projected here."

Xing and I walked inside, gazing at the long river of light and shadow flowing in the well, as if we were reading a silent history book of the universe.

When the time for our consciousness to return is almost up, we have to stop and temporarily withdraw from this vast history book.

Ah Hu took us to get the special fertilizer for the star tree that Xing needed. Then, with Ah Hu's reluctant gaze that almost turned into a pendant and stuck to Xing, Xing came to run around.

The starlight enveloped us again, the unimaginable spectacle of light and shadow in the Infinite Corridor, and even Ah Hu’s blazing gaze, gradually disappeared behind the ripples of space transformation.

After that, I looked at Xing with a half-smile and said, "That Ah Hu seems to have bad intentions towards you."

Xing was embarrassed.
