Chapter 55: The Unawakened Witch (1/2)

Ten days later.

The fairy eggs have not hatched yet, and Mr. Emand's archaeological work has come to an end. He picked up a lot of garbage from the cannibal ruins and found Hecate.

"Hecate, you go back first. Our flying speed is very slow. It will take at least a month to get back to Uruk." Teacher Emand knew that Hecate could fly over to save them in such a short time. His flying speed must be very fast. They, a few old bones, definitely couldn't do it.

Hecate nodded. It was impossible for her to accompany a few old men on their journey back home, so she took the fairy egg and disappeared in front of the three old men in the blink of an eye.

Old man Hamil narrowed his eyes and said, "Hiss, is this like a special-grade magic flash?"

"What kind of strength do your students have? Why do they need to use flash to travel?"

Emmanuel scratched his head. He didn't know either.

......

Two days later, Hecate returned to Grants College.

Dean Oannis came over immediately to inquire about the situation. Hecate said that the teacher was no longer alive, but they were a bit slow in traveling, so they would not be able to return until a month later.

Seeing this, the dean finally breathed a sigh of relief, expressed his gratitude to Hecate, and left with peace of mind.

Back at the Astrology Tower, Freya was teaching Little Bubble to speak. Natasha was surprised to see her: "Hecate, you are finally back!"

"Well, has anything happened recently?"

Natasha: "Yes, Mrs. Audrey came to see you. Because you were not here, she asked me to tell you that your sister Edith is getting married, so she hopes you can come home after you come back."

Is Sister Edith getting married too? Time flies.

Hecate was a little emotional, and said, "Hey, I'll go home later."

Not long after returning to the Astrology Tower, Hecate and Natasha returned home together. Freya had to take care of Little Bubble, so she had to let her stay upstairs to look after the house. Otherwise, it would be troublesome if Little Bubble crawled out and was discovered by others.

After returning home, Mrs. Audrey hugged Hecate for a few times and said, "Dear Hecate, you always stay away from home, which makes me feel lonely!"

Hecate smiled and said, "You told me last time that Blake was annoying."

Blake, the son of eldest brother Ray Warren and his wife Nitia, is over two years old.

Mrs. Audrey smiled and said, "How are you and Blake the same? You hardly cried when you were a child, but Blake cried every day."

It is normal for children to cry often. If they don’t cry, then we have to see if they are also time travelers.

Hecate thought to himself with a mixture of laughter and tears.

Sister Edith's wedding was in three days, so she got back just in time.

Spent three days at home with Natasha.

The sister's wedding went on as scheduled. Many nobles came to the manor and the scene was very lively. Hecate, just like she did last time when she attended her eldest brother's wedding, quietly mingled with the crowd, eating and drinking.

The man who married Edith was the second young master of the Digapur family, and the second brother of the red-haired nobleman Sweet.

When Hecate was eating and drinking everywhere, he ran into this guy who was enjoying the compliments of his followers with a cocky look on his face.

Sweet also saw Hecate passing by, and his expression suddenly stiffened.

No matter how awesome he is, he is not as awesome as Hecate. Thinking about how he had promised to make Hecate his follower, Sweet wanted to slap himself twice.

Out of sight, out of mind. The proud Sweet left with a group of his followers.

"He's still a proud guy even when he grows up." Hecate chuckled twice.

Soon, the wedding was over.

Hecate returned to the Astrology Tower.

Time flies, and a month has passed steadily, but there is still no movement from the fairy egg. When asked Xingxing, Xingxing said it was not the right time yet.

One afternoon, after giving Natasha some guidance on her magic chain repair, Teacher Emand finally came back.

When he came back, his friend Hamil followed him, holding a little girl's hand.

Ifill looked at the academy in front of him and asked, "Grandpa, are there really very powerful magicians here who are not much older than me?"

It's not that she didn't believe what her grandfather said, but Cardenas was the center of many magicians, and there were obviously more powerful magicians there. She didn't understand why this powerful magician didn't go to Cardenas, but stayed in such a coastal kingdom.

Could it be that grandpa was actually deceived by her?

Ifill's eyes turned serious. She absolutely couldn't let her grandfather be deceived!

"Come on, little Ifill, grandpa won't lie to you." Old man Hamil smiled kindly.

Soon, after sharing a large pile of garbage with his students, Mr. Emand took the two to the top floor of the Astrology Tower.

Little Ifell was a little shaken. Someone who could live on the top floor of the Mage Tower didn't seem like a liar.

Hecate came out of the room and Teacher Emand explained the situation to her.

This... is the strong man that grandpa was talking about?

Ifill was a little confused. This guy was very cute, but he didn't look much older than her. He wasn't an elf or anything, so he couldn't be that much older.

Aren’t powerful magicians all white-haired grandfathers and grandmothers?

Hecate said, "But I don't have much teaching experience, and I don't know much magic. If you ask me to be your granddaughter's teacher, I'm afraid I'll be disappointed."

Ifill immediately stood up. She still didn't believe that this girl who was about her age was a powerful magician. Therefore, she questioned her: "My grandfather is a senior member of the Magician Association. I don't believe you are stronger than my grandfather. You just have to fight with my grandfather. If you win, I will be your student!"

Old man Hamilton broke out in a cold sweat, he still remembered clearly the golden red lightning that happened more than a month ago. "Granddaughter, please don't cheat me. I couldn't withstand that lightning for even a second!"

Hecate smiled and said, "I didn't say I would accept you as my student, so there's no need to fight."

Ifill puffed up her cheeks and said angrily: "If you win, I will be your maid!"

Natasha glanced over with sharp eyes. Someone wants to steal my job? !

Emand looked at his friend, as if to say, how did your granddaughter respond today? Did she eat chili peppers?

Hamil: "..."

Freya and Little Bubble peeked around the room, quietly eating melon.

Hecate immediately refused, saying: "I don't need a maid."

Ifill snorted: "Then you must be afraid of my grandfather. You rejected me, a future member of the Magician Association. You must feel that you can't beat my grandfather and you are guilty!"

Hecate was speechless. In my eyes, your Magicians Association is nothing.

She realized that she couldn't reason with this little thing, so she turned her attention to the old man behind her and asked, "Master Hamil, your granddaughter asked me to fight you. What do you think?"

Wizard Hamil waved his hands repeatedly: "No, no, no, I am too old and cannot beat you."

"Little Ifill, I said I would bring you to meet a powerful magician, why are you angry?"

Ifill pouted: "Grandpa, look at her, she is so young, how can she be a strong person? Strong people should be like you and Grandpa Emand, with white hair and old age!"

The corner of old man Hamil's mouth twitched. In the Magician's Association, most of the powerful magicians are indeed old men. Ifill often goes in and out of the Magician's Association, so it is normal for her to have such an understanding.

Mage Hamil sighed and apologized: "I'm sorry, Hecate, my granddaughter grew up in the Magicians' Association, and she didn't mean to offend you by saying this."

Hecate smiled and said, "Children's words are innocent. I don't care."

After Ifill's interference, this apprenticeship was settled. Hamil sighed. This Hecate was a magician who could cast high-level magic as easily as drinking water and even used flicker to rush over. If his granddaughter could learn one or two tricks from her, it would be enough for her for a lifetime.
