Closing remarks
First of all, let’s celebrate the official completion of this book!
Of course, these are the only stories of the characters in the book, but their lives continue!

Finally, I would like to talk about my original intention and process of writing this book.
Around October last year, I saw a funny video and someone commented under the video saying that he hadn’t laughed so hard in a long time.
Because of this sentence, I suddenly had an idea to write a book that could bring happiness to everyone.
Before officially writing this book, I recorded a lot of inspiration that suddenly came to my mind. The initial setting was that the male and female protagonists agreed to get married.
The first thing to be determined was the heroine's personality and name, while the hero's personality underwent major adjustments.
In the initial setting, the male protagonist is a domineering CEO who is mistakenly regarded as a gigolo, and the female protagonist is a controversial actress who has become both a black and a red star.
But in a funny article, the domineering CEO setting would make the male protagonist too pretentious and fail to liven up the atmosphere.
So I changed the hero's personality to a silly and innocent one. This was my first attempt at writing a hero with this personality.
This book is also my first attempt at character development, focusing on the characters’ dialogues to make their conversations more personal.
Since this was my first attempt at a "fast pace + focus on character development" approach, it was a bit difficult to write.
Especially in the middle and late stages, when the inspiration for nearly 20,000 words was almost exhausted, I fell into anxiety and confusion, not knowing how to continue writing.

During the writing process, in addition to the male protagonist, the settings of many characters in the book also underwent countless changes in details.
for example:
Wei Jingyang, whom Ji Shuyao once had a crush on, was originally set to be a hypocritical man, but when writing, he was changed to a sunny and cheerful boy.
There is also the blind date guy who stood up Jiang Yunyao. He was originally set to be the husband of the vicious female supporting role Jiang Yunyao in the plot.
But considering that Jiang Yunyao is not the vicious female supporting character in the book, it was only because of a deviation in her life experience that she met that blind date guy.
According to the character setting, the purpose of the vicious female supporting role is to participate in a couple variety show. When she knows that there is someone who likes her, she will choose the other person without hesitation and have a flash marriage with the other person.
So the final setting is that the husband of the vicious female supporting character in the plot is Wei Jingyang.

In addition to the changes in character settings, there are many character settings and experiences that are not included in the plot because they deviate from the main plot line.
for example:
1. Jiang Yunyao’s contract.
After Jiang Yunyao accidentally hit her boss, she received a call from Jiang Zhanming. After learning the whole story, Jiang Zhanming contacted Jiang Yunyao's boss, Mr. Chen.
Jiang Zhanming made a deal with Mr. Chen. As long as Jiang Yunyao stayed at Zhongxing Entertainment for one day, he would upgrade the company's system and firewall free of charge.
When Mr. Chen learned that Jiang Yunyao was acting bravely to help others, he forgave her.
He saw that Jiang Zhanming was a big shot, and in order to expand his network of contacts (to curry favor with someone powerful), he agreed to the deal and changed Jiang Yunyao's contract.
This is also why, when Mr. Chen knew that Ji Chen gave good resources to Jiang Yunyao, he suddenly realized and said, "I understand."
He thought Ji Chen and Jiang Zhanming had a good relationship. After all, it was not uncommon for big men to know each other.
Mr. Chen felt that Ji Chen must have been too caring towards Jiang Yunyao for Jiang Zhanming's sake.
2. Everyone in the Lin family has the surname Lin.
Old Mrs. Lin’s surname is Lin, and her given name is Lin Miaofeng. Her two sons are named Lin Xiaohu and Lin Xiaofeng, also with the surname Lin.
In fact, the setting is not to take the mother's surname, but it just happens that the deceased Mr. and Mrs. Lin both have the surname Lin, so there is such a coincidence.
3. Jiang Yue’s experience.
It was mentioned before that Jiang Yue doesn’t like singing because when he was a child, he learned a song and wanted to sing it to his mother, but he ended up witnessing his drunk father domestic violence against his mother.
From then on, he suffered from a psychological trauma. Every time he sang, he would think of this painful memory, so he was unwilling to sing anymore and didn't like listening to others sing.
Growing up in a repressive environment, Jiang Yue's personality is somewhat distorted. He envies Xie Yixing, but is also jealous and unwilling.
Because the Jiang family's status is far inferior to that of the Xie family, Jiang Yue always has an inferiority complex when he and Xie Yixing get along.
In Jiang Yue's mind, he and Xie Yixing are friends on the surface, but in fact he is Xie Yixing's follower, and Xie Yixing is the person he wants to please and cling to.
Of course, these settings are not meant to whitewash Jiang Yue, but are only used to enrich his image.
No matter how tragic his past experiences were, they were not a reason for him to choose to hurt others.
4. A distinguished guest of the Ji family.
During the second stop, Ji Shuyao returned home halfway and said that a distinguished guest had come to her home and asked to see her specifically.
This distinguished guest is Meng Yiran, who is a good friend of Ji Shuyao’s mother.
Meng Yiran's purpose of looking for Ji Shuyao was to get Lin Wanwan's hair through Ji Shuyao and do a paternity test.
Ji Shuyao did not agree.
When Ye Jing asked Lin Wanwan for her hair, Ji Shuyao overreacted because she misunderstood Ye Jing and thought he was bribed by the Lin family.
5. The invalid love line.
Before the main text of this book was completed, there was a consideration of pairing Ji Shuyao and Ye Jing together, and some clues were buried in the previous plot.
At the beginning, Ye Jing gave Ji Shuyao the ointment with a very cold attitude, letting her use it or not.
Later, he asked Lin Wanwan for her hair to make medicine, but was stopped by Ji Shuyao. Seeing Ji Shuyao's value of friendship, he changed his opinion of her.
Later, Ji Shuyao accepted the punishment and went running laps with everyone. Ye Jing took the initiative to care about her.
There is also a hidden plot.
At the third stop, Ye Jing brought Xiao Hei back from outside. The gray hair on Xiao Hei's head came from a ragdoll cat.
This ragdoll cat was raised by Ji Shuyao. When Ji Shuyao went to the hospital to visit her grumpy grandfather, the ragdoll cat she brought ran away and met Xiao Hei.
Ji Shuyao went out to look for the cat and was very angry when she saw Xiao Hei rubbing against her cat. Ye Jing was a little embarrassed when she saw that she was the cat's owner.
This love line is a bit like "Pride and Prejudice". Both of them have somewhat passive personalities and need an opportunity to resolve the misunderstanding.
The original plot was: Ji Shuyao would appear again at the fourth stop, sprain her foot while climbing the mountain, and be carried down the mountain by Ye Jing.
After much thought, I felt that writing like this would be a bit of forced balancing, so I didn't write it according to the imagined plot.
Maybe the two people are just not destined to be together, or maybe at some point in the future, they will meet again and renew their past relationship.
6. Song Qiangwei’s name.
Before joining the YFN organization, Song Qiangwei was called "Ning Wei"; after becoming a YFN killer, her code name was "Qiangwei".
After leaving the organization, she used her mother's surname and named herself Song Qiangwei.
7. The next abbot of Qingfeng Temple.
Taoist Priest Qiu Wu drew two lots, both of which were excellent, corresponding to the two candidates for the abbot of the temple, both of whom could lead Qingfeng Temple to better development.
One is to carry forward the spirit of Qingfeng Temple and make it last forever; the other is for Qingfeng Temple and the spirit to coexist, but its reputation will not be greatly improved.
8. The key points of the extra chapter.
The extra story of Ruan Mengsheng and Xie Song mainly focuses on the description of their love line.
The extra chapters about Ran Yinuo and Xie Xingning focus on character development.
Especially Xie Xingning's character, she needs to show through her words and actions that she is calculating and yet likable.
The nickname "Little Lychee" is actually similar to "Black Sesame Glutinous Rice Balls".
The white and tender flesh (dough skin) is wrapped with a dark core (black sesame), which is used to imply Xie Xingning's white-cut black character.
9. Protagonist and supporting character.
When I first started writing this book, I had no intention of changing the roles of the characters. For example, Jiang Yunyao was always the female supporting role.
But then I thought of a sentence - "Everyone is the protagonist of his own life", so there was a plot with changes in the character positioning.
