Chapter 209 Zhang Xiaomai without Vigilance

"Uncle and aunt, let me stay here for a few more days." When they were about to leave in the afternoon, Zhang Xiaomai held Tang Liuyue's hand tightly and blinked at Tang Yaoguo and Jiang Yunsu.

"Brother, let my sister-in-law and Liuyue stay here for a while. There is no one to take care of them back home now. My sister-in-law is about to give birth in a few months. You will be worried if she goes back." Tang Suju also advised.

"That's right, big brother. Now that we have enough room in the house, it's not easy for Liuyue to have fun alone in her hometown. She can have some company from Da Mi and Xiao Mai." Zhang Chen also advised.

"Yes, then we'll come over tomorrow. My dormitory really can't accommodate them. I was worried about her giving birth soon and I was worried about her staying at home, so I took them in and will come back after she gives birth. Now, thank you for your help." Tang Yaoguo didn't act pretentiously.

"What's the trouble? Then you guys go slowly and come early tomorrow. It's getting hot."

"Yes."

The next morning, Tang Yaoguo sent the mother and daughter to Zhang Xiaomai's home. He didn't give them money directly, but he brought them a lot of fruits and other things, and bought some delicious food every few days.

When buying things for Tang Liuyue, Zhang Dami and Zhang Xiaomai also got a share.

"It's delicious! Mom's cooking is the best." Zhang Xiaomai ate her meal with big mouthfuls. Zhang Xiaomai knew that her mother had been thinking about making the storefront a success these days. She wanted to open a shop to sell food or a tailor shop. After all, she had some skills and could cook, but her cooking wasn't particularly good.

So Mom kept trying her hand at her craft. Dad quit his job and started focusing on the orchard. Zhang Xiaomai had already found a book on planting and a book on architecture, and upgraded them a bit, but they didn't have any special features.

Planting books means being able to adapt to local conditions. The prepared fertilizers should be more advanced, environmentally friendly and suitable for crops. The materials are also very common, and the main focus is on quality and low price.

The architectural books are beautiful and practical, and the design styles in them suit her taste, and of course, the taste of the whole family.

"You are like a little pig. You don't think there is anything that is not delicious." Tang Suju said with a smile as she looked at Zhang Xiaomai with bulging cheeks from eating.

"Well, Wheat eats more than me!" Zhang Dami said while eating.

"My mom's cooking is the best!" Zhang Xiaomai was not convinced. She had upgraded the recipe and gave it to her mom. How could the food her mom made according to the recipe not be delicious? Tang Suju's cooking skills were not bad to begin with.

"Yeah, Miss Man's cooking is getting more and more delicious." Tang Liuyue praised sincerely.

"Okay, okay, eat more if it tastes good." Tang Suju watched Tang Liuyue change day by day. Now she is as fair and tender as Zhang Xiaomai, and very lovable.

"Haha, it's good that you like to eat. That kid of Jia Lao Da is six years old, but he still wants to be fed. He is as thin as a bamboo pole and looks very black." Zhang Chen said as he picked up Zhang Xiaomai.

"Yeah, that's right. I'm the best." Zhang Xiaomai said shamelessly.

"Hahaha, okay, okay, our little piglet is the best." Tang Suju was so amused by Zhang Xiaomai's self-righteous look that she couldn't stop laughing.

"Selling food is still too hard, so we should just sell fruits. I have contacted several orchards and will take a small amount each time to try selling them first. Once our orchard is repaired, we won't have to worry about the supply of goods." Zhang Chen thought about it and decided that since his family would have an orchard anyway, he shouldn't focus his energy on other things.

"Besides, it doesn't matter even if we have free time during this period. The important thing is that Da Mi and Xiao Ma can't miss going to school and the Children's Palace. Our Xiao Ma is a little musical genius." Zhang Chen said.

“······”No.

"Well, I was wrong. Let me think about it. The Children's Palace is so far away, and I don't know what the situation is. I'll take them there tomorrow to check it out. It's summer vacation now." Tang Suju also thought it made sense. Let's put the business matters aside for now.

The next day, I took Da Mi, Xiao Ma, and Tang Liuyue to the Children's Palace. There were quite a few people there, and there were a lot of things to learn. The tuition was quite expensive, though. Zhang Xiao Ma ended up signing up for guzheng and calligraphy, while Zhang Da Mi signed up for martial arts and calligraphy.

For Zhang Xiaomai, who attended Tianlong Academy, these martial arts teachers were on the same level as the apprentices. This was understandable, considering martial arts were already declining, and true masters wouldn't teach in places like this.

Tang Liuyue signed up for guzheng and calligraphy classes together with Zhang Xiaomai. When Tang Yaoguo heard Zhang Chen and the others talking about enrolling the two of them in classes, he asked Tang Liuyue to go along as well. He had saved some money over the years by living frugally and had originally planned to return to his hometown in a few years to renovate his house.

Tang Suju and the others did not stop them. They were all from the countryside and only asked around because Zhang Xiaomai had no talent in music. Anyway, Zhang Xiaomai had gone, so they couldn't favor one over the other. It was a good thing that Tang Yaoguo was willing to send Tang Liuyue.

As long as you can afford it, you can.

Although they have not yet started school, Zhang Xiaomai and Tang Liuyue have already started their student life early.

By the end of summer vacation, Zhang Xiaomai had finally made some progress in her dream-making skills at Journey to the West Academy. Creating a dream for her parents was enough. Journey to the West Academy and Tianlong Academy were open to others, but she didn't know how to let them in without exposing herself. Now that she had some success in dream-making, she was able to get her parents and brother into Journey to the West Academy.

"Mom and Dad, Xiaomai?" Zhang Dami was a little confused when he saw his parents and younger sister appear beside him. He couldn't tell whether it was reality or a dream.
