"Old Huang, it's time to eat." Old Huang is the sect's guardian beast, a dog that eats and does nothing, and has a terrible temper. He looks exactly like a Chinese native dog, but he's incredibly hardy. He's been with the sect since its founding, and while he hasn't made many contributions over the years, he's been loyal to it.
Today, it was Gu Can's turn to bring food to Old Huang. Old Huang loved to lie at the sect gate, basking in the sun during the day and the moonlight at night, perhaps waiting for his old friend to suddenly appear one day. Gu Changming and his companions had built a small hut for him nearby, and they took turns coming down the mountain every day to bring him food and clean up the place.

"Thank you, I'll leave now." The little girl was very tactful.
"Hmm, hey. What's that thing on your head? Why is it glowing?" Gu Can was surprised. This little girl was a normal person just now, how could she suddenly turn into a bird person? Subconsciously reaching out to grab it.
"What is this?" Gu Can looked at the colorful light circle in his hand, which was the size of a basketball. The light was flowing.

After checking that Gu Can was not injured, they saw a little girl lying next to him. They had no choice but to take the person back first. Old Huang had already gone to eat his big meal happily.

After the entire process was completed and the talisman paper was applied, the little black ball began to cry. Black tears fell and then dissipated, becoming smaller and smaller. Finally, they transformed into a transparent bead the size of a pinky fingernail, floating toward the sky. Suddenly, the sky became bluer, the water clearer, and the wind grew stronger.
"Huh?" The father and daughter were puzzled. Thunder and lightning began to roar in the sky.
"Oh no! It's a thunder tribulation." Gu Changming suddenly realized that he and Ji Jinfang had reached the Nascent Soul stage after eating the peaches, but no thunder tribulation had ever struck. He had been baffled as to why, and he hadn't expected it to strike so suddenly today. Gu Changming immediately left the room and flew to a small hilltop he hadn't yet taken care of. If only they had known each other for so long, where would Ji Jinfang have gone? Fortunately, the hilltop was not small, so the two of them could manage without interfering with each other.
