Chapter 433 Parents School

Harley Quinn climbed down step by step, and the light in the dark secret room suddenly came on.

There were indeed two skeletons inside, and standing next to them were her parents, whom she missed day and night. They were still wearing the clothes they wore when they came to the circus that day, and everything was still the same as it was that day.

But there were tears in both of their eyes.

"I'm sorry, baby. Mom and Dad didn't protect you." The woman burst into tears. The man looked at them in silence, his red eyes revealing his inner turmoil. They reached out, wanting to hug the baby they had been thinking about day and night.

Harley Quinn was stunned for a long time before suddenly throwing herself into her parents' arms, only to find nothing in her arms. Her eyes widened in disbelief.

"Baby, we are just a wisp of obsession now. We have been trapped here for so many years. We don't know what method he used, but we can't get out. Knowing that you were bullied by him, we tried our best. Fortunately, our baby is smart and knows how to reward and protect himself. We just want to see you again." Dad's voice was choked.

"Back then, we accidentally discovered the dirty dealings behind this circus. When we wanted to leave and call the police, they killed us. They also trapped us here, preventing us from reincarnating. We had to watch him bully you just to torture us."

"Mom and Dad, no, don't leave. I was wrong. I shouldn't have distrusted you."

"Baby, mom and dad can't bear to leave you either. Fortunately, we killed him with you and those who bullied you. No one will bully you anymore. Mom and dad can only do so much. Don't blame mom and dad for being useless."

"No, it's not like that. It's my fault, it's my fault. Why didn't I find you earlier? I don't want to watch the circus anymore. Please come back." Harley Quinn looked at her parents who were becoming more and more transparent, broke down in tears, and knelt on the ground, trying to reach out and grab them.

"You, you have a way, right? You must have a way. Please, save my mom and dad. I can go with you. I can go with you. I beg you." The Joker Girl suddenly thought of Gu Can and kowtowed to her desperately.

"Your bones are still there, and you can be given new life through obsession. However, in this way, you can only exist for ten minutes and can no longer be reincarnated." Gu Can said as he looked at the two increasingly transparent figures.

"Okay, even if it's just for a moment, I want to hold my baby again."

"Yes, thank you for letting us see the baby before we disappear." Both of them agreed without hesitation.

"No, no, Mom and Dad, you can have a better life. Thank you for giving birth to me and for always protecting me. In the next life, I want to be your daughter again, okay?" Harley Quinn couldn't bear to let her parents sacrifice like this. She had already missed so much. Even if she couldn't be your parents' child in the next life, she wanted them to be happy.

Seeing them like this, Gu Can couldn't help but have tears in his eyes, and then he summoned the strange cooking manual. The three of them were just a wisp of obsession, so there was no future. This way they would be together forever.

Gu Can picked up the card with only a smiling face on it. Finally, we are reunited. Let's be happy and blessed from now on.

"Congratulations on completing the fourth dungeon - Crazy Circus. 500 bonus points." Are these points fixed? They don't increase at all. Doesn't that mean she's completed the dungeon perfectly? Doesn't a perfect completion come with extra rewards?

"Next we will enter the fifth instance - Parents' School."

Gu Can curled his lips. There was no other way to deal with this strange rule except to make her work around the clock.

The scene changes again.

Gu Can looked up and saw a gloomy building standing before him. Above the gate hung a sign that read "Parents' School." An oppressive atmosphere filled the air, and from time to time, muffled cries and harsh scolding could be heard.

Walking into the school, Gu Can found that the so-called educational courses here were all torture methods, the purpose of which was to destroy the will of parents.

Gu Can pretended to be a parent who came to study and blended into the crowd. She saw a classroom where several people in uniform were tying disobedient parents to chairs and then putting on special helmets.

This helmet flashes a cold light. Once activated, it releases a strong electric current to stimulate the brain nerves. The parents instantly twitch in pain and let out indistinct screams.

Elsewhere, there was a large pool with several parents soaking in the freezing water. A supervisor nearby, armed with a long stick, would hit anyone who tried to climb out of the pool, shouting insults while doing so.

Some parents were locked up in small, dark confinement rooms, deprived of food and water for extended periods. This wasn't a school; it was a den of cruelty. Gu Can saw through the key to this instance at a glance; in fact, she held the secret to passing it.

However, she did nothing and just watched these scenes repeat themselves over and over again.

"Aren't you going to save them?" Finally a girl came up to her.

The girl in front of him was thin, with hair that looked like it had been chewed by a dog, and she was wearing clothes that didn't fit her well. There were many scars on her exposed skin, and her expression was even more numb than those parents.

"I'm sorry, I can't empathize with you, but I know what they are facing is not even one-tenth of what you are facing, so I am willing to stay here and wait until you can let yourself go." Gu Can is a child loved by her parents. She knows what it feels like to be loved. Even though she knows the darkness, there is a fortress built for her by her parents.

These children were brought here by their own parents. What they have experienced is even more painful, yet even now they are reluctant to show their darkest side.

Isn't it respecting you as an independent and free soul that is truly doing it for your own good?

Children are not tools for parents to demonstrate their authority. Because they are incompetent and cannot even control their own lives, having a child is like flying a kite, hoping they will soar high, bring fame and fortune, and then tighten the string in their hands to control them.

Don't you think that since you're living a mess yourself, what direction can you offer them? You're just dragging their potentially brilliant lives down into your own muddy waters, sinking with them.

They are all first-time parents, but love is an instinct. How cowardly and incompetent one must be to treat their children as toys to be controlled, and torture them against their instincts to satisfy their hypocritical and superior desire for control.

"Then you stay here forever. We have let ourselves go a long time ago, but we just don't want to let them go. Why don't parents have to study and take exams? If they don't know how to be parents, they should study hard, right?" The girl tilted her head.

"You are right, every life is precious, but some people only regard having children as a task that must be completed in life. After giving birth to children, they regard the children as shackles. It is the children who trap their lives and are the culprits for their lives that are like mud." Gu Can nodded. Some parents really cannot be called parents.
