Jiang Huashu didn't go back to the field, but stood there pushing the cart and watching the fire go off. He waited for him to come up to him, cursing, and then he saw that it was Jiang Huashu. He hurried over and pretended to greet him warmly. Guan Huashu saw the anxious look between his brows, and he had to pretend to be so enthusiastic. He thought that he was really unique, another natural actor.
Guan Huo was followed by three men, presumably members of the brigade leadership team. One of them was holding a work point book. He was probably either the brigade accountant or the scorekeeper.
The four of them walked back together. Along the way, Guan Huo kept asking Jiang Huashu, intentionally or unintentionally, why he suddenly came to their village and who asked him to come.
Jiang Huashu used the excuse of checking for fire safety hazards to get away with it. Believe it or not, everyone knows what kind of person you are, otherwise why would you feel so guilty?
Soon they arrived at the team headquarters. The man who was recording work points quickly took out the key and opened the door to let everyone in. The girl who was beaten trembled in fear when she saw the fire was turned off, and she did not escape the eyes of Professor Dong and Sun Mofei.
There are only three decent brick houses in the village, one belongs to Guan Huo, one belongs to his son, and the other belongs to the brigade headquarters.
What does this mean? It's impossible for his son, with his appearance, to earn the money to build two large tiled houses. Even Guan Huo himself couldn't have done that. There are only two explanations: either he was the heir, inheriting the previous generation's money to build them, or he moved in after the previous generation built them. However, the first possibility is unlikely.
There was one more thing to investigate, but it didn't disrupt Jiang Huashu's work rhythm. He turned around and asked the person who had just opened the door and was recording work points: "Hello, I'd like to see your scorebook, is that okay?"
The scorekeeper turned to look at Guan Huo without saying a word. Guan Huo immediately took over the conversation: "Secretary Jiang, you are so busy every day. You came to our village to check on safety in this cold weather. Take a break and stop working so hard!"
Jiang Huashu looked at Guan Huo, without saying a word, just looking at him.
The stalemate lasted for about ten seconds. Guan Huo was not stupid and knew who not to offend, so he could only step back and say, "Director Jiang, whatever you want, hahahaha."
Hearing this, the scorekeeper quickly put the scorebook in front of Jiang Huashu and considerately opened the first page.
Jiang Huashu came up with something explosive. He asked Guan Huo directly: "How many sons do you have?"
"Just one." Guan Huo replied with a smile.
"What's your name?"
"Guan Shiyi."
After listening to this, Jiang Huashu flipped through the scorebook and looked at it page by page. In the middle of winter, both the fireman and the scorekeeper were sweating profusely.
At the end, it was today's scorekeeping. Guan Shiyi not only got full marks every day, but also had extra. With that small frame, how could he get the same work points as the most capable laborer in the village? And today, he was clearly beating someone up at home and didn't even work in the fields, but he still got full points. What does that mean?
Jiang Huashu was so happy! He thought to himself: OK, OK, we have caught the tail of turning off the fire, let's not rush, take our time.
He gave his wife a wink, and she blinked and thought for a while, then understood what he meant and winked at him to show that she received it.
Just now, when Jiang Huashu rode his bicycle to the field to look for someone to extinguish the fire, Professor Dong and Sun Mofei asked the girl about the situation. The girl hesitated and refused to say anything, which made Professor Dong very anxious.
Why are you still protecting him after he got beaten like this?
