Chapter 556: "Love the Army" Support Group (Part 2)

Why do easygoing people feel that their plans are small?

Do you know how many soldiers in our country retire from the battlefield every year due to injuries?

The main reason is that due to the good life in the past few years and the Korean War, there are too many veterans who have retired. The number of those who are single and have no family to support them in their old age, those who are seriously ill and have no one to take care of them, and the orphans of martyrs is huge.

Fortunately, Suihe had such a strong backing as Space, otherwise he would never dare to do it, even if he sacrificed the entire Jiang family.

Why such a large facility? It's not just for retired soldiers who are injured and unable to work, but also a nursing home for military families and childless veterans, as well as a welfare home for orphans of martyrs. In essence, military families provide for the childless veterans, while the group covers all expenses, and everyone works together to provide for their well-being.

Example 1: Veteran Soldier A, 69 years old. His wife and children were living comfortably when they were murdered by Japanese bayonets during the invasion of their home. This left veteran A, who had been fighting in the war, alone. After the victory, A returned home, left alone to fend for himself. Despite his injuries, the government provided him with a generous annual helping hand. But veterans of the battlefield are known for their pride, unwilling to burden others if possible. He lived alone at home, rarely interacting with others. Consequently, even when he fell ill, no one knew.

This meets the admission requirements.

Example 2: Soldier B, a soldier with three years' service, married last year and had a baby this year. Because the baby was a girl, his mother disdained her. Not only did she make things difficult for her, she also forbade her from writing to her son, fearing she would complain and hinder his work, leaving him without a place to earn money. She never gave her a cent of the money his son sent home, leaving him with the entire burden of household chores.

This also meets the admission requirements.

Example 3: Soldier C died in battle. His wife, unable to cope, passed away within two weeks, leaving behind a four-year-old child. Initially, the child's two aunts claimed they would raise the child, so the government divided Soldier C's pension between them. The remaining half was held by the government, with the other half to be given to the child once he grew up. However, within two months of living with the aunts, the child was evicted and left to wander the streets. The aunts were simply greedy for the pension.

This kind of situation is even more suitable for admission. Not only does it cost nothing to be admitted, but the child's pension will be deposited into the government and given to the child when he or she grows up.

Example 4: Soldier D came from a family with many brothers. As a child, his family couldn't afford to eat because of his large number of brothers. Unwelcome, he was sent off to serve in the army. He scrimped and saved every penny he earned each year to send home. If he didn't send it back on time due to a mission, his family would send letters demanding he return. When he was injured and lost his right arm, he returned home. His brothers had already used his hard-earned money to marry, leaving him with no place to live. His brothers' wives were initially polite to him, as he had received a pension for his injuries. Then, the family cried poverty, and after his mother coaxed him out of the pension, no one cared, leaving him penniless. His eldest brother took the government-appointed job, leaving him jobless. Over time, he became a broken man.
