Chapter 594: Zhao Youqian's Growth Story (Part 1)

Two days ago, Xingxing suddenly received a letter from Zhao Youqian, saying that he wanted to break up with her. Xingxing didn't know what was going on.

The two met in the military camp. At that time, she followed them like a tomboy, doing drills and training every day, and crawling in the mud.

Zhao Youqian had just joined the army and was a new recruit under Suihe. Every day, Suihe trained these new recruits to death, showing no mercy. Eventually, the training became too strenuous, and one after another, the new recruits gave in and requested transfers to other units.

In the end, only 15 people persevered, including Zhao Youqian. Xingxing and him had always known each other through fighting, and every encounter was a chaotic one. They were both siblings, each one possessing a proud spirit that only grew stronger as the fight progressed. Eventually, the fights drew them ever closer.

After Jiang Huashu returned to Shanghai to recognize his relatives, he woke up to find that Zhao Youqian was actually the nephew of his second uncle's mother's family. He really didn't expect it.

After more than half a year, the two confirmed their relationship. Later, under the auspices of their parents, Xingxing and Zhao Youqian got engaged. They agreed to hold a wedding with her sister after Li Yichen returned from his mission abroad, and the two sisters would get married together.

But later, behind the sweetness of this relationship, there seemed to be an imperceptible shadow quietly spreading.

So after receiving the letter, Xingxing felt something was very wrong. He went home to say hello to his father and immediately took a train for a day and a night to join the army.

After submitting the application for an interview, Zhao Youqian did not come out to see Xingxing.

Things were getting more and more wrong. I had originally wanted to meet Xingxing to talk things out and then leave, but now I had no choice but to find a hotel to stay in.

She knew Zhao Youqian quite well; he was a simple man, just like herself. She could describe him in one word: a foodie and a fool. What had happened to make this fool break up with her?

It was evening, and she had no appetite. She sat by the window, ordered a cup of coffee, and stirred it unconsciously, staring blankly at the people hurrying by outside, a mixture of emotions welling up in her stomach. Zhao Youqian hadn't even come to see her, and she had no idea what was wrong with him.

Xingxing looked at a corner outside the window and accidentally found a man in black clothes staring at him.

Xingxing thought she was seeing things at first. She took the opportunity to tidy up her hair and looked at the corner twice more, but the person who was peeking at her was gone.

This discovery made her a little frightened. Which side was this person from?

Zhao Youqian, on the other hand, was also feeling complicated in the army. He didn't dare see Xingxing, fearing that he would really implicate her. The best solution at the moment was to break up with Xingxing, so that even if something happened to him, she wouldn't be involved.

The story begins right after he joined the team. Shortly after Suihe's discharge from the army, Zhao Youqian was selected for the second team. Shortly after joining the second team, this naive young man, unskilled in the ways of the world, inadvertently became entangled in the complex web of interpersonal relationships within the team.

Someone exploited his pure enthusiasm for the mission and set a trap, so that responsibilities that did not belong to him fell on his shoulders. These missions were difficult and arduous. Each one was high-risk.

At first, Zhao Youqian didn't know that these things were possible, and he thought that his superiors had specially arranged for him to take on more tasks because of his outstanding performance.

Every time I saw the captain of Team 2 looking at me with a hesitant expression, I thought he was envious and jealous. This simple, silly kid really had no sense of defense at all.
