Chapter 28 Explosive Strike, Scythe Girl!

If there were only one enemy, Billis and Mia would bravely fight back, but now there are two enemies, one of whom looks quite formidable.

Lisa sent the information about the mummy to the contact lens.

It turns out that the enemy was not a mummy, but a wizard, or a giant spirit.

Wizards live in Sky City. Their identities are as ancient and mysterious as those of the other world, especially their six arms. Each arm can control a different spell, meaning they can cast six spells simultaneously.

In Faan, all powerful species originated from the creation of magic. Faan's magic created mystery and intelligence in many races, bestowing upon them noble civilizations while also bringing disaster.

Most races, including humans, elves, and dwarves, believed that magic was the only way to seek peace, and thus mages and sorcerers came into being.

Anyone who criticizes magic will be exposed by the Church, and anyone who uses magic to do evil will be regarded as a heretic. This is the discipline and bottom line for citizens of the Church of France.

Those heretics who were banished by Fa'an became wizards.

Wizards disregard the laws of magic, trading their bodies with demons. Their worship of magic is fanatical and blind, and they must believe in their mother, Ansira, dedicating their entire lives to praising her greatness and glory.

The wizard secretly aided the demon race and the forces of darkness, bringing annihilation to Fa'an, which had been at peace for hundreds of centuries. Together, they launched a war against the forces of light—the Descent of the Gods.

The battle for divine intervention ultimately ended with the sealing of the Demon King. The wizard race never showed their faces again, so very few people have ever seen the true faces of wizards, and some even believe that this race has become extinct.

The information Lisa sent was followed by a long string of special reminders: when fighting a wizard, do not look directly into their eyes, or you will be bewitched.

"Eyes? His face is still wrapped in bandages."

Lisa replied from the other end, "Bandages are a wizard's seal; once the bandages are removed, the wizard becomes even more powerful."

"Who are you talking to?" Mia asked.

After explaining to Mia, Billis took out a magic grenade that he had prepared beforehand.

The grenade Lisa prepared for him was not only a plane-destroying device, but also a magical container that appeared small from the outside but actually had a flexible, expandable space.

Billy threw it to the ground with a particularly piercing sound, casting a dark veil over everything around it.

Compared to the outside space, the internal space created by the grenade has its own independent time system. One minute in the outside time is equal to one hour in the inside time, giving Billy and his companions enough time to discuss things.

Billis said seriously, "Shh, friends, I don't know how long the grenades will last, ten minutes or twenty minutes, but in any case, we definitely can't beat the wizard, so we can only run away."

“This is the distant Hyperion, how do we get there?” Mia asked.

"Fly." The angel friend seemed to have learned to communicate, but she could only say a few simple letters each time.

"Okay, you fly away first."

"No."

“I’m telling you, you’re not stupid. You should have seen what that guy is capable of. If you try to fly with us, you won’t get very far. So, you have to go first. There’s no room for discussion.”

"I'm not leaving."

"Listen to me, you can go and get reinforcements, you know what I mean? Calling people to help is called calling reinforcements. If three people can't beat them, call six, nine, or a hundred."

"Let's go together."

"Oh my goodness! You're such a stubborn child!"

The angel was very surprised to see that Beris was pale and had red and swollen eyes.

She said, "I can heal."

Before Billis could hear clearly, the space created by the grenade was torn apart, and several soft tentacles surrounded the three of them, each tentacle being incredibly thick.

This time it's no longer a hallucination, but a dangerous signal!

A huge, intelligent, and evil creature was summoned by the wizard. It had only a head with many tentacles and eyes, but no breath from its nostrils and no heartbeat.

One of the tentacles roughly wrapped around Mia, as if it were a well-developed muscle, tightening its grip more and more.

Fortunately, the angel's wings were very sharp, easily severing the tentacles. She used her sharp wings to form a cutting shield around herself.

However, soon after, enormous eyelashes appeared, covered with beetles the size of pebbles. The beetles' backs shone with a golden light, and they lay motionless on them like gold. Once the wings approached, the beetles' backs emitted an indescribable blood-red glow.

The angel suddenly felt an unbearable itch and used its feathered arrows to quickly cut forward. In just a few minutes, the tentacles and eyelashes were cut off, leaving only the round head.

The wizard then chanted another spell, and the three of them instantly lost their balance. If they didn't grab onto something immediately, they would probably be sucked into the black hole.

The angel firmly anchored the exoskeleton of the wings to the wall. Billy clung to the pillar, while Mia couldn't grab onto anything, finally only managing to reach Billy's pants, which were slipping down.

Billy cursed, “Damn! This guy is serious. He’s so horny. I’ve never seen anyone so eager to eat me and my pants.”

"Bilis! We have to think of something! I can't hold on much longer!"

"I hope you can make it in time, madam!"

"What?"

"Just now, I sent her a distress signal, and she told me to hold on for five more minutes."

"But! Oh dear, your pants are going to fall down!"

The deep, terrifying wind, like a galloping steed, swept Mia away in an instant. Biris immediately reached out to catch her hand, and the two of them were like a clothesline, pulled taut by the black hole.

The angels were too far away to save them.

In the end, Billis was defeated by the evil wizard. His will to survive lasted only a few seconds before he let go, as if swept away by a flood.

Just as it was about to be swallowed up, a powerful shock suddenly shattered the evil black hole, and everything suddenly returned to its true origin.

The black hole was struck several times by the bright red light and began to collapse. Occasionally, a dying tearing sound could be heard, but before long, the black hole disappeared completely along with the tearing sound.

A crimson light cleaved through the air in a six-pointed star arc, and a Grim Reaper wielding a scythe descended from the magic gate.

The wizard seemed to awaken from a deep sleep, his eyes flashing with unusual light. Two of his six arms had been destroyed by scythes, and the other two were being chewed up by a warhorse that breathed fire.

Lisa, wielding a scythe, arrived just in time riding a Nightmare Beast.

The wizard refused to give up and chanted the spell again. An abstract matrix was born, and space was constantly torn apart, peeled away, floated, and re-coalesced. It borrowed some matter from the surrounding darkness and regained life in the unknown distortion. Several dark shadows floated above the matrix, as if the underworld was creating alien creatures.

But the Nightmare Beast only blew a few snorts from its nostrils, and the strange creature was blown to pieces.

The wizard hadn't expected to encounter demons here, and he asked with unusual caution, "Why are you getting in my way?"

Lisa pointed her dazzling scythe at the wizard's nose: "No one in this world dares to bully my husband except me!"

At this moment, the orc hiding behind the wizard seemed to realize the difference in strength, and he secretly whistled.

As if a colossal creature were flying in from the distant mountains, Hyperion swayed slightly. Although it was an extremely weak thud, it could still sense that what was flying in the sky was an enormous being.

"Stop arguing here. We've already offered the Blood Raven to the Demon King. Our mission is complete."

As soon as he finished speaking, an incredible force ripped off the roof, and the orc and the wizard simultaneously grabbed a claw.

The creature trembled in the air, its back covered with an exoskeleton resembling steps, carrying towering, smooth stone walls. It cried out a few times as it flew, shattering the stillness of the night.

This was a genuine black dragon, many times larger than any beast I had ever seen before. Its forelegs were short, its hind legs were long, its chest was like a mountain, and the distance from its neck to its back was enough to surpass the greatest human construction—a fortress. Its entire head was an inverted triangle, it had no ears, and its whole body was covered with plants as hard as walnut wood. It was like a volcano spreading its wings, a tyrant lurking in the forest.

Orcs and wizards climbed onto the dragon's back and waved to the people below.

"We will meet again."

The black dragon occupied a large area of the sky, and after it left, the sea of clouds was as smooth as a mirror.

Although the enemy had gone far away, Biris and Mia were still uneasy, because everyone knew that these two were in cahoots with the dark elf who killed the druid, and they did indeed have the power to resurrect the Demon King.

To impress his new friends, Billis deliberately bolstered his courage in front of his wife, saying, "I thought there was something more terrifying in the world. In my opinion, it's just an old black eagle perched on an old apple tree, taking a stroll."

To avoid embarrassment, Mia followed up with Biris, saying, "No, no, that's not an old apple tree, it's an old world tree."

Lisa glanced at Billies and suddenly snapped, "Where are your pants?"

"Madam! Please let me explain!"

Billis felt a chill run down his lower body, but his face was greeted with a round of enthusiastic applause.
