An undead priest dressed in tattered clothes is dancing with great seriousness. He must have been a great dancer on Earth, but he was unlucky enough to be reincarnated as a strange and eccentric creature. However, his dance wins applause.
The undead built an altar overnight, piecing together various puzzles with blue pebbles from the stream, and everyone sang and danced in celebration of thwarting the druids' land acquisition plans.
Sharp laughter echoed through the grove at night, from both normal and abnormal minds, creating a lively din.
It was Mia's turn to perform a solo dance.
The white body of the Light Elf shimmered like pearls in the dim environment, its soft, curvaceous movements blending seamlessly with the surrounding gray and black hues, creating a scene that was both bright and dark.
She wasn't as voluptuous as Lisa, but she was extremely tall, with expressive shoulders and a neck, and her corset creaked with her breath as she danced.
Suddenly, in front of everyone, she took off her other glove with her fair, rosy hand and tossed it to Billis, as if to invite him to dance.
Billy dared not accept Mia's invitation in front of his wife, so he excused himself to go to the toilet and left the woods.
Just as they left the woods, they were greeted with applause again; perhaps it was the lady's turn to take the stage this time.
Billy arrived at the waterfall and discovered a glowing cave behind it, a cave he hadn't noticed earlier.
The cave was filled with lush wild grass, the symmetrical stems hidden in the knee-high grass, like the eyes of an octopus, bulging, green in the middle, and flashing with various luster from time to time.
He had never seen glowing grass before.
A stinging creature, like a nettle, hides in the grass, and like a leech, it bites the visitor's legs and hands, spasming and contracting.
Billis felt blood flowing from his body into the creature's belly. He quickly grabbed one of its swollen parts, which crumbled with a pinch, but the places it had bitten were unbearably itchy.
For a fleeting moment, Billis felt someone press their fingers on his wrist, but when he turned his head, he saw no one.
Warm air currents gradually rose and swirled inside the cave, and the pressure difference between the inside and outside gradually increased.
Billis concluded that someone lived in there!
Sure enough, a little further in, you see a broken wall with brown leaves inside, covered with fresh soil, and decorated with fist-sized breadflowers, as if someone had slept there.
"who!"
Someone entered the waterfall and headed towards Beris.
"Madam, is that you?"
Although the other person lowered their footsteps, they couldn't hide the fragrance emanating from them.
"Lisa?"
His heart seemed to stop, and Billy saw a pair of sparkling eyes.
"Why you? Mia?"
The elven creature, which shimmered in the darkness, didn't want the other to speak. It shoved him against the wall behind it, stood on tiptoe, and lifted the other foot, holding Beris's chin.
"Do you know what you're doing?" Billis asked, flustered like a kitten being oppressed by a lion.
Why won't you accept my invitation to dance?
"I...I'm not good at..."
"You did very well during the day, so I'm going to reward you for the night."
Mia suddenly hugged Billis, groped him all over, and finally gave him a big kiss on the cheek.
Billis's mind was spinning like a flywheel. He couldn't understand why Mia would do such a thing, and he even regarded Mia as his wife.
A strong possessiveness surged into my body, shaking me, making my muscles twitch, stimulating my nerves, and making my sweaty body glow.
But this idea is too malicious. Is it really necessary to do this?
Hearing Mia's rapid breathing, Billis broke free and threw her away.
"Stop!" he said.
Mia was startled by the shout and paused for a moment. A delicate flower petal fell from the sky and landed on her.
"You don't like me?" she asked boldly.
"We can be good partners, but not partners in that kind of relationship."
"You're afraid your wife will find out."
"No."
"So what? Nobody saw it anyway."
"We've only just met."
"Ah, I won't mind anyone I set my sights on."
Mia threw herself at Bilis again, but Bilis pushed her away once more and bumped into a barrier woven from willow branches.
If she had used any more force, Mia's head would have hit the rock behind her.
Billis had no idea why he had suddenly become so angry. To be honest, he liked the light elf, but not to that extent.
"Oh, so you just see me as a chance encounter? Then so be it."
Mia wasn't angry about being rejected. She stood up, squatted down, and then stood up again. Her legs and hands seemed to have been scratched by something, making them less flexible.
Feeling rather embarrassed, Billis asked, "Are you alright?"
Mia left the waterfall without saying a word, as if she had never been in the cave before.
Billy sat in the quiet cave for a long time, needing a long time to shake off the lingering illusions in his mind. He had never been so close to any woman other than his wife.
Perhaps it was the lingering fragrance that clouded his mind, but Billy suddenly rushed into the waterfall, wanting to wash away all his impure thoughts.
Just then, he heard the lady's footsteps.
Lisa was still wearing the floor-length dress she had worn before leaving the house, and she had to pull it up a little every now and then.
It seemed like he hadn't seen his wife in a long time. Suddenly, Billy threw himself into her arms like a child, tears welling up in his eyes.
"lady!"
Lisa patted her husband's head as if hugging her own child: "What happened? Everyone's been looking for you, they thought you were lost."
"There's a cave behind the waterfall, and I'm sleeping inside... so don't worry."
"Why does your face look so bad? Are you drunk? Or did someone bully you?"
"Because I missed you, my lady!"
Billis leaned on his wife's shoulder. It had only been five minutes, but it felt like five hours. Nothing was more reassuring than his wife's shoulder.
A warm, comforting atmosphere enveloped the couple.
Billis turned his head slightly and saw Mia standing behind Lisa.
He sat up as if he'd been electrocuted and straightened his wife's shoulders.
"You! What are you doing here?!"
Mia was startled, as if she saw a pair of rude eyes, and was speechless for a moment.
In the end, it was Lisa who eased the tension.
“Biris, you’re acting strange tonight. Did you encounter a ghost in the cave?”
Biris pointed at Mia and said, "Why don't you ask her yourself!"
"What's wrong with me?" Mia was starting to lose her composure, and the atmosphere became very awkward.
"I hope you've forgotten what you just did; that's not something a partner should do."
"Tell me! What did I do to you?"
"Ah! You should find yourself a good young man and take care of yourself!"
"You were perfectly fine during the day, so why are you yelling and screaming like you've been kicked in the head by a donkey at night? I'm Mia, look carefully! Don't mistake me for just anyone!"
Billis felt as if he had fallen from the sky, his vision blurred, and the figures of the lady and Mia became swaying. The sounds he heard seemed to come from a distant iceberg.
Lisa flicked Billis's face with her gloved hand and asked, "Can you hear me? What's wrong with you?"
After a while, Billis finally came to his senses and asked the lady, "Was Mia with you just now?"
"She's been with me the whole time!"
Billy's mind went blank again, and he realized that something seemed to be missing from his body.
He yelled, "That thief took my recording pen!"
"who?"
“I don’t know her! She’s probably a spy; her voice and appearance are exactly the same as Mia’s.”
Why did she steal the recording pen? Was she sent by the druids?
Billis didn't know how to answer.
Mia then asked him, "Has she injured her knee?"
"It seems so!"
"Is he very strong?"
"Do you know her?"
"If it's that person, the druid is in danger!"
"who?"
"A dark elf who can use mirror magic."
"You know her very well? Why would she do this?"
"It's probably to blackmail the druid, or to do something even more malicious."
"So what should we do next? Stand idly by? Or rush back to protect the druids?"
"It's time to tell you everything, Mr. and Mrs. Billis. She belongs to a team that will plunge the world into crisis, and I belong to another team."
To convince the Billies, Mia summoned her informant, who was hiding in the shadows.
