"Haotian, shall we go? There's so much seafood here, and Yan'er will cook lots of delicious food for you tonight!"
Nangong Ziyan tugged at Beiming Haotian's arm, pleading coquettishly, promising that the other seafood she prepared would surely impress Haotian.
"Okay!" Unable to resist Nangong Ziyan's tender advances, Beiming Haotian surprisingly agreed to her request.
Hua Nongying was astonished. He was a monster and demon feared by everyone, but Yan'er was not afraid of him at all and was very close to him.
Hua Nongying did not live in the same mansion as Hua Yubo because Hua Nongying was also born out of wedlock. If his elder brother had not died young, he would not have been the young master. He had another elder brother named Hua Yuqi. Because his mother was a courtesan, while Hua Nongying's mother, although born out of wedlock, was born into a noble family, the position of young master naturally fell to him.
His mother was not favored in the Island Lord's Mansion. When Hua Nongying was sixteen, his mother took him out of the Island Lord's Mansion and established his own mansion. After becoming the young master, Hua Yubo tried many methods, but he still did not return to the Island Lord's Mansion. He lived at the foot of Yunmeng Mountain, which was some distance away from the Island Lord's Mansion. However, this place was very close to the back mountain of the Island Lord's Mansion, which was the reason why he never returned to the Island Lord's Mansion.
Hua Nongying's mansion, like the man himself, was luxurious yet refined, and even the flowers, plants, and trees reflected his personality.
"Yan'er, Demon Lord, usually no one comes here except for me. My mother has been eating vegetarian food and chanting Buddhist scriptures in the backyard for the past two years because she is happy. She rarely comes to the front yard. You don't need to be reserved here."
Hua Nongying led them into his mansion, which wasn't very large, but it was his favorite place to live.
"Alright! Then we won't stand on ceremony."
Nangong Ziyan acted as if she were at home. In fact, she really wanted to ask Hua Nongying how he got into the South China Sea Glazed Palace two years ago. The South China Sea Glazed Palace was supposed to be heavily guarded, and ordinary people could not get in at all. Moreover, he was seriously injured at the time. Out of sympathy, she did not ask anything and secretly left him in the South China Sea Glazed Palace for five days.
"Young Master, you're back." At this moment, a middle-aged man in his forties or fifties wearing a gray robe and a man in white came to greet him.
Looking at Bei Ming Haotian and Nangong Ziyan behind Hua Nongying, the two were slightly surprised.
"Hmm! These two are my ghost songs. Uncle Zhong, go and make preparations."
"Yes, young master." Uncle Zhong turned around and left respectfully.
"Qi Zheng, go to the study and wait for me."
"Yes, young master."
After giving her instructions, Hua Nongying led them deeper into the mansion.
"This is Fenghai Residence, the best guest room in the young master's mansion. It's a courtyard with two entrances and two exits. Please make do with it and stay here for two nights! I have some things to attend to and will come back to bother you later."
"Alright, you're a very busy person, while we're penniless and have nothing to do. You go ahead and get busy!" Nangong Ziyan waved her hand, then suddenly added seriously, "But while you're busy, don't forget to treat us well!"
"Don't worry! Just for the sake of your life-saving grace, I, the young master, will treat you well."
Hua Nongying smiled slyly and turned to leave.
Nangong Ziyan smiled as she watched his retreating figure. "What's wrong? Are you reluctant to part with him?"
A chilling, angry voice descended from the sky, startling Nangong Ziyan.
"Haotian, why are you suddenly angry?"
Bei Ming Haotian, his masked face suddenly close to Nangong Ziyan's, brushing against her nose, a furious aura surrounding her face.
Nangong Ziyan leaned back abruptly. When no one was around, he would show his true self in front of her, wild and charming. But damn it, she just loved his domineering and charming appearance.
Bei Ming Haotian quickly caught her and instantly brought her into Feng Hai Residence. With a flick of his arm, the door slammed shut.
Bei Ming Haotian's tall figure pressed down on Nangong Ziyan, forcing her against the door, and he said with a warning tone, "You are not allowed to smile at other men from now on."
His meaning was clear: he was jealous of her smiling at another man. Heaven knows how much effort it took for him to suppress his rising anger.
"Then Haotian, hurry up and marry Yan'er. From now on, Yan'er will only smile at you, okay?"
Nangong Ziyan smiled and spoke softly, her hands draped over his shoulders, the two pressed tightly together, the ambiguous atmosphere rising sharply, her excited, bright eyes shining with anticipation like the starry sky.
Bei Ming Haotian's heart was struck hard. He was absolutely enamored with her appearance, and he couldn't resist wanting to merge her with himself.
"Alright! I will definitely marry you as soon as possible." His deep voice was sexy and charming, filled with intense desire. Sui was stunned for a moment, then secretly chuckled to herself. She had completely controlled his thoughts.
Nangong Ziyan looked at him with a bright smile. He was finally willing to marry her. She was so excited that she couldn't describe it. After sixteen years of longing, it was finally worth it.
Seeing the unbridled joy on her face, he couldn't help but lower his head, wanting to taste those delicate lips.
Suddenly pushed away by Nangong Ziyan, Beiming Haotian looked at her with a mournful expression. Why was she spoiling the mood at a time like this?
"Wait, Yan'er seems to have suddenly remembered something."
"Do it later. You have to make it up to me first. I'm furious today!" Bei Ming Haotian said, like a child who hadn't gotten his candy.
