"Okay!" Hua Rujin nodded obediently.
"Then let's split up and search! We can't stay away from the South China Sea Crystal Palace for too long."
Nangong Yuze stood up, feeling somewhat uneasy.
"Alright, Haoze, let's split up and search."
After spending a few days together, the two Nangong brothers and Tian Haoze became close friends who could talk about anything.
"Okay!" Tian Haoze nodded, and the three of them went out together.
"After you find the boat, let this old man know. Daughter-in-law, go and bring this old man some snacks. He's hungry."
Tian Nanxing walked up to Hua Rujin, smiling broadly. Of all the news, this was the one that pleased her the most. This brat had finally found a woman he liked. Although his daughter-in-law was a bit slow, it didn't matter, as long as she was kind-hearted.
When Hua Rujin heard her call out like that, her eyes widened like copper bells.
"Son, daughter-in-law..." Hua Rujin pointed at herself in disbelief, not understanding why Tian Nanxing called her daughter-in-law.
"What? Is that not allowed? That brat even gave you the space ring that I gave to my daughter-in-law, isn't that right? Go and bring me some food. It's so early in the morning, I can't even get a proper sleep and I can't even eat."
Hua Rujin glanced at the spatial ring on her hand, her heart pounding. Was the young master being so kind to her because he liked her? Then she looked disappointed, realizing she might be overthinking things. She knew her own identity very well.
"Hurry up and go." Seeing Hua Rujin in a daze, Tian Nanxing urged again.
"Oh! I'll go prepare food for everyone right away."
Hua Rujin's face turned as red as an apple, and she turned and walked outside.
"Miss Hua, wait a moment, I'll go with you!" Nangong Ziyan knew there was nothing else to do here, so she might as well go make something to eat to pass the time.
"Great! Girl, I love your cooking the most. You need to eat well to have the energy to travel."
Upon hearing Nangong Ziyan say she was going to cook, Tian Nanxing's eyes lit up.
"Master, just don't push yourself too hard!"
Nangong Ziyan smiled, glanced at Beiming Haotian, winked playfully at him, and went out with Hua Rujin.
"Tian'er, do you think it might have been Bei Ming Yaowei who did it?" Sima Jiaorong couldn't help but ask as soon as Nangong Ziyan left.
"Your aunt is too late, you'll find out soon enough."
Bei Ming Haotian's face was gloomy. If it really was Bei Ming Yaowei, he would settle all the old and new scores with him at once.
"But Hua Yubo can't rule it out either, since gunpowder comes from their Lingxian Island."
“Although Hua Yubo is ambitious, others may not understand him, but I do. He hasn’t reached the point of losing his humanity, and he values the triennial Fengyun Tournament. He wouldn’t do something like this at this crucial juncture,” Nangong Yuze said confidently.
As soon as Hua Yubo and Hua Nongying returned to the island lord's mansion, they couldn't wait to go to Bei Mingyaowei's room.
"Bang!" Hua Yubo kicked the door open and went straight inside. Bei Ming Yaowei was leisurely drinking tea with Bei Ming Yuehen.
"Lord of Beiming City, only you know about the gunpowder. Tell me, did you do what happened last night?"
Hua Yubo was furious, his face dark as he glared at Bei Mingyaowei. He was truly blind; how could he have thought of associating with such a person? Someone who would even harm his own elder brother—he was truly blind.
Hua Nongying also didn't have a pleasant expression. In Hua Nongying's eyes, Bei Ming Yaowei was the culprit who led his father astray.
"Brother Hua, don't be so angry. This has nothing to do with me. You know the hatred between me and Bei Ming Haotian. It's either him killing me or me killing him. Tomorrow night is the full moon. With so many powerful experts on Lingxian Island, do you think they can't deal with a mad Bei Ming Haotian? Even if someone did this on purpose today, they still did me a great favor."
Bei Mingyaowei said nonchalantly that the matter was related to him, but so what? He had only mentioned something about gunpowder.
"Lord of Beiming City, if the Demon Lord unleashes his demonic nature on the night of the full moon, do you really think you can subdue him with your cultivation level? Do you know how many innocent people will be sacrificed once he goes on a killing spree?" Hua Nongying questioned Beiming Yaowei sharply, knowing that he was definitely involved in this matter.
"Furthermore, all the ships on Lingxian Island were destroyed, causing heavy losses to the island. The fishermen are unable to go out to sea to fish. If I find out who is responsible for these losses, I will make them pay back every single penny."
Hua Nongying glared at Bei Mingyaowei with deep hatred. He was determined to find out the truth and demand an explanation for their Lingxian Island.
"Young Master Hua, please calm down. This loss is nothing to your Spirit Immortal Island. If you don't believe me, you can ask your father. Every year, nearly 10,000 people flock to the Wind and Cloud Tournament. The income from that is not something you can just count on your fingers."
"Even so, it was money my father worked so hard to earn. How can I allow others to squander it?" Hua Nongying trembled with anger and turned to leave.
"Sigh! Brother Hua, Young Master Hua's temper is really something..."
Bei Mingyaowei stretched out his divine hand and looked helplessly at Hua Yubo. What he said was not wrong.
“Ying’er is right. If we find out who did it, the island owner will make them pay for all the losses.” Hua Yubo also made a harsh statement and turned to leave.
