Chapter 150 Bei Ming Haotian is Jealous

Bei Ming Haotian could no longer bear to watch. He knew that if he continued to watch, he would go berserk and kill Dongfang Yifei.

He grabbed Nangong Ziyan and exclaimed, "Ah!"

Nangong Ziyan exclaimed in surprise, wondering why Beiming Haotian had suddenly acted this way.

"Yan'er, you've had a long day, you should rest."

Bei Ming Haotian glared at Dongfang Yifei with a gloomy expression, then disappeared with Nangong Ziyan.

Dongfang Yifei angrily shook his hand. "Bei Ming Haotian, one day, I, Dongfang Yifei, will not rest until I kill you! Yan'er is mine, Dongfang Yifei's!" Dongfang Yifei's face grew increasingly gloomy. He looked at the beef jerky in his hand; the aroma emanating from it slightly improved his mood. He then turned around and entered his spatial ring. With the beef jerky and apple in hand, he would think things through...

"Haotian, slow down!" As soon as they entered the spatial ring, Bei Ming Haotian didn't let go of her hand, but instead pulled her along quickly toward his room.

But Bei Ming Haotian ignored it.

Nangong Ziyan's eyes darkened, she was slightly taken aback, then raised an eyebrow and asked, "Haotian, what's wrong with you?"

Bei Ming Haotian ignored her until they were inside the room, where he stopped, his gaze fixed on her face, a hint of suppressed anger in his eyes. "Your relationship with Dongfang Yifei is getting better and better. You can even be all lovey-dovey in front of me."

Nangong Ziyan paused, thinking to herself, "No wonder the atmosphere was so strange, and Haotian was so angry. He was jealous." She tried to downplay the situation by saying, "Haotian, Yifei was injured while saving me. It's only right that I take care of him!"

Bei Ming Haotian suppressed his emotions and said in a deep voice, "That's right, it's only right that he took care of you after he was injured, but why did you let him hold your hand?"

Nangong Ziyan sighed inwardly. With her carefree personality, how could she have noticed such things! But she thought that Yifei had pulled her hand down against her will. Nangong Ziyan's eyes darted around slightly, and then she said in a somewhat sad tone, "Haotian, so you're jealous? I'll be more careful in the future. Don't be angry anymore. I've been through a lot of fright today, and you're still scolding me for such a small thing."

Nangong Ziyan looked unhappy and aggrieved. She knew he cared about her, but she was secretly delighted that he was jealous of Yifei.

"Were you really that good to Dongfang Yifei before? And you often cooked delicious food for her...?" Bei Ming Haotian couldn't help but ask, his deep eyes fixed on him, his thin lips pressed tightly together.

"Haotian, Yifei only goes to the South China Sea Glazed Palace for about a month a year. At that time, Dongfang Yifei is always silly, and I only cook some delicious food for him and his brothers when I have nothing else to do."

Nangong Ziyan didn't hide anything and said that she didn't think there was anything shameful about doing this, so she didn't mind telling him.

Bei Ming Haotian involuntarily held his breath. When he heard Nangong Ziyan admit to her actions towards Dongfang Yifei, his heart felt as if it were being torn apart by an invisible hand. A great pain and regret surged into his heart, making him afraid to even breathe too hard. His biggest regret was not being a part of Yan'er's growth. Her red eyes were the reason he dared not see her.

Bei Minghaotian pursed his lips tightly, his eyes turning cold and sharp enough to cut a person.

Nangong Ziyan's expression remained calm, but Beiming Haotian's sudden outburst of anger startled her. She placed her hand on his and spoke softly and gently, "Haotian, back then, neither of us realized what would happen later. Besides, Yan'er and Yifei's relationship was more like that of friends. Yan'er already has feelings for you. Yan'er's greatest wish is to climb over the walls of the South Sea Glazed Palace to find you. Heaven and earth can bear witness to my heart. If Haotian doubts Yan'er's intentions because of Yifei, Yan'er will truly be heartbroken."

Bei Ming Haotian remained silent, staring at her for a long time. The light in her eyes was pure and bright, without the slightest hint of guilt or evasion. He didn't want to say these things, but jealousy was nagging at him.

After a long while, Bei Ming Haotian slowly let out a sigh of relief, rubbed his temples, and said softly, "Yan'er, I'm sorry, I'm so afraid of losing you."

Nangong Ziyan could sense the unease in her heart. She gripped his large hand tightly, the warm palm giving her a strange sense of security. She slightly raised her lips and said softly, "Haotian, you won't lose Yan'er. Don't forget, it was Yan'er who pursued you first, and it's you who Yan'er is determined to marry. Just based on Yan'er's heart, you should believe in Yan'er!"

After listening to Nangong Ziyan's words and comforting words, Beiming Haotian's gloom dissipated considerably. After calming down, he thought about it carefully and realized that he had indeed been too petty. In addition, the casual intimacy between Yan'er and Dongfang Yifei had made him lose his mind and not even recall Yan'er's thoughtfulness and tenderness. He was only thinking about being jealous, which was not like him at all.

Bei Ming Haotian quickly concealed the hint of embarrassment in his eyes and said again, "Yan'er, I'm sorry, I misunderstood you, it won't happen again."

Nangong Ziyan smiled. That's how it should be. If her sincere heart were truly misunderstood, then she would have really messed with him in the wrong way.

"Haotian, let's talk about it tomorrow! Yan'er is so sleepy!" Nangong Ziyan yawned. The misunderstanding was cleared up, so she could sleep peacefully. Nangong Ziyan suddenly realized that she had to pay attention to the issue of communication.

"Good!" Bei Minghaotian smiled meaningfully; this suited his wishes.

The silvery moonlight spilled across the ground, and the bottomless cliff echoed with the mournful chirping of crickets and the low growls of monsters. A silvery haze shrouded everything in the moonlight. Even the grass and trees no longer appeared as real as they did during the day; they possessed a blurred, ethereal quality, adding to the mystery of the night.
