The two didn't appear until after noon. Dongfang Yifei was furious. When he saw them appear before him so intimately, he frowned and refused to look at them.
As soon as Nangong Ziyan saw Dongfang Yifei, she immediately slapped her forehead, as if she had forgotten something.
"Yifei, I'm sorry, I was too tired and slept in a little longer. Did you have breakfast...?" Nangong Ziyan asked hesitantly with a guilty look on her face. It was true that she had gotten up late, and she had forgotten about it while chatting with Haotian.
"Hmph!" Dongfang Yifei snorted coldly, turned his face away, and glanced at Bei Minghaotian, who was smiling happily, and felt even angrier.

Although the magical beasts didn't know why Nangong Ziyan could understand them, it was all the better that a human could understand them. The reason why they were not accepted by humans was because of the language barrier. They couldn't take human form in the human world, so they hid in these deep mountains to survive.
