Chapter 216 The Happy Ending.

"Yan'er, Jin'er is in so much pain, it breaks my heart!"

Tian Haoze was sweating profusely and pacing back and forth anxiously.

Nangong Ziyan remained silent; given their differing stances, Haoze was more anxious than they were.

As the sun set and everyone grew impatient, a long, painful cry was heard from Hua Rujin, followed soon by the loud cry of a child.

Everyone's hearts finally settled down.

"Oh my! Haoze! It's born! Jin'er has given birth to the baby."

Sima Jiaoru looked at Tian Haoze excitedly, and her heart, which had been clenched with worry, finally calmed down.

"It's born! It's really born! Aunt Jiaoru, Haoze heard the baby crying."

Tian Haoze was so excited that he raised his hands above his head.

Hua Rujin and Tian Nanxing, who had looked worried, also smiled.

Everyone's face was beaming with joy.

With a creak, the delivery room door opened, and the midwife walked out with a happy smile.

"Congratulations, Young Master Tian! Congratulations on the birth of your son, Madam Tian! Mother and child are both safe and sound!"

The midwife was probably in her fifties, dressed in a gray, somewhat ornate dress, and her face showed some wrinkles when she smiled.

"Excellent, Aunt Wang! You truly deserve to be the most skilled midwife, renowned far and wide. A generous reward awaits you. Go and collect your prize money from my subordinates!"

Tian Haoze said loudly, "Nothing could be happier than this moment."

"Yes, yes, thank you for your generosity, Young Master Tian."

The midwife left happily.

"Qilin'er, that means Jin'er gave birth to a son. Haoze, congratulations! You've become a father."

Sima Jiaorong said jokingly, genuinely happy for Tian Haoze, who was an orphan and now finally had a complete family of his own.

"Thank you! Aunt Jiaorong, Jin'er and her baby are safe and sound. You should go back and rest now! I feel really bad for making you worry for so long."

Tian Haoze scratched his head and smiled, his heart set on his wife and children.

"Haoze! We're all family, it's only natural that you're worried about Rujin. Hurry up and go inside! Look how anxious you are..."

"Oh! Aunt Jiaoru! Haoze will go in first then." Tian Haoze couldn't wait any longer. Before he could finish speaking, he turned around and ran into the delivery room.

"Hehe! This little rascal, his temperament will become more stable after having a child." Tian Nanxing pointed at Tian Haoze's retreating figure, laughing happily.

"Congratulations, Venerable Nanxing, on the birth of your grandson." Hua Nongying was also overjoyed. Jin'er had not misjudged him; Tian Haoze truly loved her.

"My dear in-law, congratulations on becoming an uncle as well."

Tian Nanxing was beaming with joy. He was excited to be teaching a group of kids how to make potions.

Nangong Ziyan looked at them and smiled happily. They could both feel each other's happiness. How wonderful!

Hua Nongying glanced back at Nangong Ziyan, and when he turned back again, he had a knowing smile on his face. He could really let her go now, he really could!

On the bed, Hua Rujin looked exhausted, but she stubbornly refused to fall asleep.

Hearing the familiar footsteps, she smiled happily, her slightly bloodshot eyes never leaving the face of her sleeping child.

"Jin'er, thank you for your hard work."

Tian Haoze sat on the bed, holding Hua Rujin's hands tightly. Looking at her beautiful face covered in sweat and looking haggard, he felt extremely distressed. If he could, he really wanted to take her pain away from him.

Hua Rujin smiled happily, "Haoze, this is our child. Look at him, he's sleeping so soundly."

Tian Haoze then turned his gaze to the baby in the swaddling clothes. Looking at the wrinkled baby's face, Tian Haoze frowned. "Jin'er, he's so small, and his little face is all wrinkled."

"Haoze, all newborn babies are like this. My mother once said that newborn babies are like dew-covered melons, changing every day. After ten days or so, they become very tender."

"Really? Hey! Jin'er, look, it looks like he's blowing bubbles!"

Tian Haoze was surprised to see something like foam at the corner of his sleeping child's mouth.

"Really? Haoze, turn the child to sleep on his side."

"Why do you sleep on your side? It's uncomfortable for the baby." Tian Haoze asked, puzzled.

"Haoze, Yan'er said that newborn babies should sleep on their side. You can't go wrong by listening to Yan'er."

"Oh!" Tian Haoze gently turned the child's body over. Looking at the fragile life, his heart softened.

Hua Rujin looked at her cautious appearance and smiled happily. She, Hua Rujin, was truly happy to have such a husband. She could no longer resist the drowsiness and slowly closed her eyes to sleep, a happy smile on her lips.

Tian Haoze turned around, smiled knowingly, placed a kiss on her smooth forehead, sat down by the bed, and stayed by her side.

That night, after finishing dinner, Bei Ming Haotian pestered Nangong Ziyan.

The reason is that Nangong Ziyan has not yet agreed to marry him, and he is extremely anxious.

After Hua Rujin gave birth successfully, Nangong Jiayi, Nangong Ruichen, and Nangong Jingqi also set off for Shennong Realm.

"Haotian, why are you always following me? It's too late, you should go home and rest!"

Back at the door of the room, Nangong Ziyan started to chase him away. Of course, she knew very well why the man had been following her. It was because he had decided on their marriage without her consent, so she decided to teach him a lesson. That's why Beiming Haotian stayed by her side all night.

Bei Ming Haotian remained unmoved, looking at her with a gloomy face. This little woman was deliberately trying to provoke him.
