Chapter 9 A Different Way of Looting (2/2)

After the group of pythons swam out, several tigers quickly jumped down from the beams and chased the crowd outside.

Jiang Shaomu was not afraid. As he expected, these animals had died long ago. They were just controlled by the poisonous insects. The hay on the ground was also food for the insects. It was a good thing. Instead of retreating, he advanced and prepared to go in and make some retail purchases.

Jiang Shaomu used the corpse-driving technique, and sure enough, all the snakes around him stopped moving. Although the control range was not large, it was quite useful. Jiang Shaomu confirmed that the ability was useful, and quickly took out an iron box to fill with grass.

Hei Xia Zi and Zhang Qiling, who had long discovered that the other party had some means to store a lot of supplies, were not curious about how Jiang Shaomu could hold a whole field of hay in an iron box. Even the moss in front of the tree could be seen clearly with Hei Xia Zi's eyesight.

But the other party would not be attacked, so the black bear decisively entered the other party's protection range. Sure enough, no animal would rush within one meter of Jiang Shaomu.

Jiang Shaomu ignored the person beside him and just focused on collecting hay. After he had finally collected all the hay, he finally had time to take care of the black bear.

The black bear, who had been talking for a long time but got no response, became even more excited when he saw Jiang Shaomu finished his work and looked at him:

"You're a hidden talent, little fan."

He gave Jiang Shaomu a thumbs up. Jiang Shaomu tried to suppress his mouth, but found that he couldn't do it, so he just laughed: "It's just so-so, not that great."

Hei Xia Zi's eyes twitched and he said, "Why don't you stop smiling so smugly?"

"Has everyone separated?" Jiang Shaomu asked. There were only the two of them left in the room, with a circle of motionless snakes surrounding them. They were not motionless not because of Jiang Shaomu, but because the black bears were blown off their heads one by one. The habitat of the poisonous insects was right in the heads of these corpses.

"The tomb owner's design is quite interesting. Several mechanisms in this place need to be stepped on at the same time to enter other tomb chambers. When they dispersed and ran away just now, basically all of them were opened. They should have been completely dispersed to other tomb chambers." Hei Xiazi said.

The two walked out of the house while talking. There were several incomplete corpses at the door. Jiang Shaomu stepped over half of the body and saw a familiar face. Huo Ma had a ferocious expression, probably because he had experienced a hard battle.

Jiang Shaomu sighed for a moment, thinking that he was not afraid even when dying. What a man! Then he retracted his second foot and stopped letting the dead occupy his brain capacity.

Hei Xiazi observed for a long time, but did not find anything special about the pair of grasses on the ground. They were clearly the most common evergreens, and there was no sign of secondary processing. He did not understand and asked:

"What's the point of collecting so much grass?"

Jiang Shaomu had long noticed Hei Xiazi's curiosity, and he didn't treat it as a riddle. He said: "The plants in the cemetery carry the Yin energy from the underground. They are useless to you, but to me they are excellent medicinal herbs and refining materials."

It's true that listening to your words is like listening to your words, Hei Xia Zi thought.

The two men walked to the open space outside and stood still. The door to the exit had been closed. According to Hei Xia Zi's observation, the mechanism required at least two people to activate it at the same time. The two men were at a loss for a moment, but this was just what Hei Xia Zi thought.

There were also many snake corpses on the open ground. Jiang Shaomu used his ability. Fortunately, three of the mechanisms were not far away. He controlled two corpses, unzipped the system and released it. Only then did Hei Xia Zi remember that the other party had a pet.

In fact, a system that only knows how to eat, sleep and curse looks like a powerless monkey. Its sense of existence is not very high, but now it comes in handy.

The two creatures opened the mechanism at the same time and fell into the tomb on the second floor underground. Jiang Shaomu released the control, and the snake corpse stopped on the ground. He wiped off the dust on the system before letting the monkey climb onto his head again.

As expected, Hei Xia Zi was unharmed, with only the corners of his clothes slightly dirty. After scanning the tomb, Hei Xia Zi looked at Jiang Shaomu, and they both said "Wow" at the same time. They really had a tacit understanding, so the two people who couldn't see each other's eyes smiled at each other again.
