Chapter 138 Your Love is a Carving Knife

Chapter 138 Your Love is a Carving Knife

The night wind blew away Wei Chuan's bangs, revealing his full and smooth forehead.

He had to pay attention to the small cake in his hand while running.

Running from the training hall to the edge of the playground, he was stunned by the darkness in front of him.

"Fuck, where's the light?"

The playground is so big, where are the lights so bright?

His words made the two girls who were sitting on the ground playing with their mobile phones laugh non-stop.

Wei Chuan walked over awkwardly and asked, "Do you recognize me?"

The two girls glanced at each other with their cell phone lights, and asked in surprise, "Wei Chuan?"

"Yes, yes, it's me." Wei Chuan said anxiously, "Have you seen Meng Tang, my girlfriend?"

"I didn't see her. Why are you here looking for her?"

"My phone is out of battery. She said she was waiting for me at the playground, but I can't find her now."

The girl gave her her cell phone: "Call her."

"Thank you." Wei Chuan took it excitedly, but when he tried to enter the number, he couldn't remember the correct digits.

At the beginning, he and Meng Tang exchanged numbers, and later they basically communicated through voice and video on WeChat.

“…”

He was really about to curse.

The two girls laughed awkwardly: "How about we help you look for it?"

"No, thank you!" Wei Chuan quickly declined.

He carried the cake and trotted along the playground, but he didn't find Meng Tang. Finally, he was forced to shout while walking:

"Meng Tang...Meng Tang..."

"If anyone sees my girlfriend, please let me know. She's Meng Tang, a sophomore in the sculpture department."

"Does anyone know her?"

"Has anyone seen Meng Tang?"

"Meng Tang..."

The students watching the show raised their cell phones to him. They had never seen anyone looking for a girlfriend like this on the playground.

Meng Tang was startled and walked out from his hidden place under the stands.

"Wei Chuan?"

Wei Chuan turned his head abruptly: "Meng Tang?"

Meng Tang turned on the light of his cell phone and walked over.

Wei Chuan breathed a sigh of relief: "I thought you were gone."

"Why do you keep calling me?" Meng Tang was startled by the rustling laughter around him. "Can't you call?"

Wei Chuan said: "My phone is out of battery. A girl just lent me her phone, but I didn't remember her number."

"But don't be angry. I'll recite it when I get home tonight."

Meng Tang stepped forward and took his hand: "Let's leave here first."

There are still quite a few people on the playground at this moment.

The two went to the edge of the playground, found a deserted place, and sat down on the higher steps by the roadside.

Wei Chuan grabbed her hand and explained, "When I saw your message, my phone was almost out of battery, so I asked Tian Yu to charge it for me."

"That grandson didn't charge, and when I came out of the shower, they were all gone."

"I was afraid you couldn't wait, so I just ran over here carrying the cake."

Meng Tang glanced down at the cake next to him and said, "Didn't you already buy one for your dorm? Why are you buying another?"

"How can it be the same?" Wei Chuan asked her to shine the light of her phone, then took the cake and unwrapped it. "This cake of mine is uniquely yours, and it's made with love."

A red heart-shaped cake the size of a palm was held in Wei Chuan's hand.

He took a birthday candle, lit it, and took out a lighter from his trouser pocket.

"You still smoke?" Meng Tang frowned.

"No." Wei Chuan said, "It's Lao He's lighter."

Meng Tang laughed.

With a "click" sound, the faint candlelight illuminated two delicate faces.

"Come." Wei Chuan hugged Meng Tang into his arms, "Make a beautiful birthday wish to it."

Meng Tang looked up, smiled and closed his eyes.

This time the wish took a little longer. It took her about ten seconds to open her eyes and blow out the candle.

Wei Chuan kissed her on the cheek: "Happy birthday, baby."

Meng Tang's heart skipped a beat.

Wei Chuan's low and gentle voice gently brushed past her ears, stirring up a tingling sensation that penetrated through her limbs and into her bones and blood.

This affectionate name was as light as the evening breeze, yet as heavy as a piece of angular stone.

Meng Tang bit his lip, his heart softening as he whispered shyly, "Thank you."

Wei Chuan brought the cake to her lips: "Take a bite."

Meng Tang didn't ask why he didn't use a spoon. He lowered his head and took a light bite. He felt a chill on the tip of his nose, which was stained with cake.

Wei Chuan laughed, turned her face over and wiped away the redness.

"Is there a spoon?" Meng Tang asked.

"Yes." Wei Chuan took out a silver spoon from the cake box next to him, scooped out a piece of food and put it into Meng Tang's mouth.

The slightly bitter cocoa aroma balanced the sweetness. Meng Tang raised his chin and said, "You eat too. I'm really not hungry anymore."

Wei Chuan also took a bite. The sweet and sour fruit aroma and the faint floral fragrance filled his mouth, and the taste was very refreshing.

The cake was small to begin with, and after finishing it in a few bites, Wei Chuan gathered up the remaining garbage and put it away.

When he turned around, he found that there was jam on the corner of Meng Tang's mouth. He raised his hands, put his arms around her neck, and pulled her in front of him.

Meng Tang stared at him blankly and asked in a low voice, "What's wrong?"

Wei Chuan lowered his gaze: "There's jam on the edge of your mouth."

Meng Tang subconsciously tried to lick it, but was stopped by a breath of hot breath.

The softness collided, like the fuse of fireworks being ignited instantly.

The sweet and sour taste filled this sweet but not greasy kiss.

Wei Chuan's palm was so big that it almost covered the back of Meng Tang's neck, and his fingertips could even fiddle with her earlobe.

Meng Tang was sweating all over.

There was not enough air, so she had to open her mouth and let the person opposite her go straight in.

After several exchanges, Wei Chuan's kissing skills can be said to have made a qualitative leap.

He also learned to flip over.

The two of them were like heated candies, sticky and finally melting together.

Wei Chuan didn't let her go until the air became thin.

But he only retreated half an inch, then moved forward and gently pecked Meng Tang's lips.

Meng Tang opened his eyes, and the thick emotions and love in them almost melted Wei Chuan's heart.

He pinched Meng Tang's face and smiled brightly: "So cute."

Meng Tang tilted his head and dodged his hand.

"Why are you shy?" Wei Chuan chased after her and held her face. "We're already boyfriend and girlfriend, so just a kiss is all it takes?"

"Who's shy?" Meng Tang slapped his hand away. "Let's go back to the dormitory."

"Sit for a while." Wei Chuan held her in his arms. "It's so hard to meet you."

After saying that, Wei Chuan laughed to himself. It was damned hard to meet each other since they were from the same school.

Meng Tang leaned back against his chest and asked, "Are you tired from training?"

Wei Chuan brushed the hair by her ear and chatted with her: "I'm not tired, I'm used to it."

Meng Tang rubbed his hands and whispered, "Don't get hurt."

"No." Wei Chuan pinched her earlobe. "What did you wish for just now? Is the wish you made in the dormitory the same as the one you made here?"

Meng Tang shook his head: "It's different."

Wei Chuan asked, "What wish did you make?"

Meng Tang sat up straight, looked him in the eyes and laughed: "It won't work if I tell you. Why do you keep asking?"

Wei Chuan seemed to be thirsty for skin, and he pulled Meng Tang closer to him and said with a smile:

"My spirit, as long as you tell me, I promise to make it come true. Do you believe it?"

“Why must it be done for me?”

"Because I want to give it to you." Wei Chuan gently slid his fingertips across her cheek. "I like you, so I want to give you everything. Not only do I want to give it to you, but I also want to give you the best."

"It's that simple, you know?"

Meng Tang was stunned. Is this how someone with a happy family loves someone?

Coming from spring, holding a bouquet of warm flowers, trying to make them bloom in her arms.

Meng Tang curled his lips and felt like crying.

She is a small flower or grass that grows on the ground, with the sunlight blocked by the surrounding vegetation.

The old man gave her sunshine and allowed her to grow up normally, but her color was not bright, like the wood she touched all day.

Meng Tang raised his head from his arms and asked him, "Do you know what uncarved boxwood looks like?"

Wei Chuan followed her and asked, "What does it look like?"

Meng Tang said: "It has a light wood yellow color and a very rough surface with natural tree grain and cracks. When you touch it, you can clearly feel the frizziness of the wood fibers."

Wei Chuan knew she had something to say, so he asked, "And then?"

"But in the sunlight, they are a matte light gold, as if covered with a layer of mist. They are just not beautiful enough and need to be sculpted."

Wei Chuan waited quietly for her next words.

"After being tempered by the chisel, their texture will flow like silk in the sunlight."

Having said this, Meng Tang paused.

Wei Chuan seemed to stop breathing for a moment.

Tears welled up in Meng Tang's eyes, and she whispered to him:

"I am now the uncarved wood, and your love is the chisel, making me as lustrous as amber."

No matter how dumb Wei Chuan was, he could tell it was a confession.

The confession of an intellectual is indeed different. Damn, his heart is about to explode!

Wei Chuan's hand holding Meng Tang was trembling slightly. He hugged him in his arms and said:

"I really gave up on you."

Being spoiled when someone loves you, Meng Tang snorted, "If not me, who else will I plant the seeds for?"

"Only you." Wei Chuan touched her face. "So what wish did you make?"

Meng Tang smiled and said, "I hope you get a good ranking in the competition and don't get hurt."

Wei Chuan couldn't stand it anymore, so he held her face and kissed her hard on the lips:

"I will definitely bring you a championship."

"Um."

Meng Tang climbed onto his shoulders and stood up: "Can we go back to the dormitory now?"

Wei Chuan threw the cake box into the trash can, turned around and held out his hand to Meng Tang: "Hold it."

Meng Tang took it up and asked, "The shoes you gave me are the perfect size. How did you know?"

Wei Chuan said, "Actually, I can tell the size based on your height, but I was worried it might not fit, so I asked Yang Ke."

Meng Tang: "When I asked her how to open the presents, she was the only one who didn't say anything."

In a blink of an eye, they were downstairs in the dormitory. Wei Chuan touched her head and said:

"We're here, come on up. I have to go back to the dorm too. I'm still very busy lately. Sorry."

Meng Tang stepped forward and hugged Wei Chuan's waist.

Wei Chuan was stunned. This was the first time Meng Tang took the initiative to hug him.

He lowered his head, smiled and smoothed Meng Tang's long hair: "Okay, stop acting like a spoiled child and hurry up."

Meng Tang nodded: "Then I'll leave?"

"Um."

The two of them were very close to each other and parted ways, looking back every few steps.

Meng Tang returned to the dormitory and heard three crazy laughs from inside.

She was stunned for a moment, opened the door and asked, "What are you laughing at?"

"Laughing at you." Xie Lingyin and the other two said in unison.

"Laughing at me?" Meng Tang walked over puzzled, "What are you laughing at me for?"

Xie Lingyin turned the phone over and said, "See for yourself."

Meng Tang approached suspiciously.
