Chapter 2 Take Me Home

"Husband, it hurts."

She took Song Jihuai's hand, covered her wound with it, hummed softly, stared at Song Jihuai's eyes nervously, and pursed her lips.

Song Jihuai didn't move, his eyes following her small hand. Her hand was very slender and white, and her crystal wrist was like a piece of fine unpolished jade, but the beauty was ruined by the thick gauze.

The snow-white gauze was stained with dark red blood.

His cold brows became even darker.

"Let go."

He pulled his hand away, not wanting to play along with Su Wanyu. Divorce was impossible anyway, absolutely impossible.

"I don't."

Su Wanyu shook her head. She felt that as long as she let go, this man would definitely divorce her.

Can't divorce!

Su Wanyu let go of her reserve as the daughter of a marquis's family, and gripped his sleeve even tighter, her expression becoming more resolute.

Song Jihuai reached out, quickly pried open her fingers, pulled his hand out, turned around and left without even looking at Su Wanyu again.

"Have the doctor examine her again and call me when he's confirmed."

The black figure took long steps and walked towards the door.

Su Wanyu became anxious, quickly got up from the bed, jumped off the bed barefoot, and stumbled after Song Jihuai.

She had lost too much blood and had been lying down for several days. As soon as she lay down, she felt dizzy, but she didn't dare to stop.

"Husband."

She chased after him, put her arms around Song Jihuai's waist, buried her head against his back, and said in a trembling and aggrieved voice: "No, leave me."

Su Wanyu was scared. In this strange place, the only person she had ever met who was related to her seemed to no longer want her.

She hugged Song Jihuai even tighter. She felt a sharp pain in the wound, but she refused to let go. Song Jihuai just lowered his head and saw drops of warm red liquid dripping down his black suit onto the ground, spreading out a charming scene.

Su Wanyu's wound was torn, and it took a long time to stop the bleeding. The attending doctor was sweating profusely and reported to Song Jihuai tremblingly.

"The patient is very emotionally unstable and cannot be stimulated any further."

Song Jihuai had been standing in front of the bed. Su Wanyu grabbed his clothes with her right hand, her eyes fixed on him, not caring how the doctor treated the wound on her hand.

"Um."

Song Jihuai looked at Su Wanyu deeply and nodded.

He pulled the stool next to him and sat in front of Su Wanyu: "Su Wanyu."

Su Wanyu nodded obediently: "Yes."

"Don't bother with that anymore. Even if you die in this life, you will still bear the surname of my Song family."

"No trouble."

Su Wanyu nodded obediently, her eyes clear and without a trace of resistance.

Song Jihuai paused and said, "Then you should recover well in the hospital."

"No."

Su Wanyu clasped her fingers tightly and refused to let go.

Song Jihuai twitched again, his face darkening: "What?"

"You, take me home, I don't want to be in this place."

Su Wanyu looked around and there was an unpleasant smell of disinfectant around her, which she didn't like. Besides, what if she let go and her husband never came back?

Her wet eyes stared at Song Jihuai, which made Song Jihuai pause again.

The two men held each other for four or five minutes, neither of them giving in.

In the end, it was the doctor who screamed, "Blood, bleeding again!"

Song Jihuai lowered his head and saw that the gauze had turned red again. He turned to look at the doctor and asked, "Can I be discharged?"

The doctor weighed the options and said, "We can send a professional nurse."

If this ancestor stays in the hospital any longer, no one will be able to live in peace.

Song Jihuai nodded: "Complete the discharge procedures."

He actually agreed to take Su Wanyu home. Su Wanyu's heart skipped a beat, and then she smiled, "Husband, I will take good care of you and raise our children."

She understands the Three Obediences and Four Virtues.

Her well-behaved appearance made Song Jihuai's face darken again. The doctor said that Su Wanyu had intermittent amnesia, and no one believed it. But now, he suddenly felt powerless.

How could such a Su Wanyu appear without losing her memory?

That same day, Su Wanyu was taken back to Song Jihuai's home, a three-story villa with two majestic stone lions at the entrance. The hospital's best nurse followed Su Wanyu closely.

When they arrived at the hall, Song Jihuai moved his hand, signaling Su Wanyu to let go of his sleeve. A large group of servants were watching behind him. Everyone stared at Su Wanyu as if they had seen a ghost, but Su Wanyu looked at Song Jihuai hesitantly, not wanting to let go.

This place was still unfamiliar after all, except for the person in front of her.

"I'm going to take a shower."
