Chapter 11

Chapter 11

Qiongzhi and Shenjiao were both clueless.

When she encounters a mouse, she is enjoying some meat. She doesn't care how long the mouse lives, she only cares about whether it is fat or thin.

"Perhaps all furry animals are similar. I used to have a dog at home, and it lived for over ten years."

"No way! I heard mice are very fertile and can give birth to a whole litter in their lifetime. If they live that long, how many pups will they produce?"

The thought of a large group of people screaming and yelling was terrifying, and Shen Jiao kept shaking his head.

"That's true," Qiongzhi couldn't figure it out, so she simply gave up thinking about it. "We'll know in the future, but..."

She lowered her voice and asked, "Sir, you're not really going to keep these rats forever, are you?"

"Who knows? They've already been named, so they probably won't be thrown away. Besides, they don't eat much, they just make a bit of noise, so it's not difficult to keep them."

Shen Jiao saw that Xue Shun was enjoying it very much.

Qiongzhi nodded and added, "I'm afraid it might break something or hurt someone."

"Not really. They're just a few little creatures, and they're all locked up. It would take a lot of effort for them to hurt anyone."

As they were chatting, they felt sleepy. Shen Jiao asked her to go to sleep, and he himself was also drowsy from waiting. He dozed off, and when he was half asleep, he heard a few soft noises. Thinking of the rat biting people, he woke up with a start.

But I saw a boy, who was no more than two or three years old, standing on tiptoe and stretching his hands to reach the iron cage containing the mouse.

Seeing that she woke up, he was startled and his dark red eyes widened. Instead of stopping, he quickened his movements, pulled the cage to the edge of the table, pulled it down without any effort, and held it in his hand.

Shen Jiao stood up and said, "Give it back to me!"

He took two steps back, looked at the cage and then at her, and shook his head.

Shen Jiao stretched out her hand: "Good boy!"

He was unmoved, raised the cage to his eyes, and shook it vigorously...

Shen Jiao watched helplessly as a certain unlucky mouse fell half of its body out, and hurriedly reached out to catch it, but the mouse's eyes became fierce, and he grabbed the cage and ran away, circling around the house. Shen Jiao jumped up and down to catch it!

I couldn't catch it and was panting with exhaustion.

When he saw this, he smiled triumphantly and pulled a mouse out by its tail.

Xue Shun loved this nest of mice very much and was afraid that they would starve, so he often asked Shen Jiao to stew meat for them, and also feed them snacks and vegetables. The big mice were fat, and the little mice were also well fed, with round bellies. When they crawled up, they looked like toads, dragging their big bellies with them.

Moreover, the physical constitution of each mouse varies. Some grow flesh slowly, some grow flesh quickly. Some fall half of their body out of the cage, but can fall back if the cage shakes. Some fall out a little at most and then get stuck. They scream and squeak when he pulls them, with only their tail and one leg left outside.

Shen Jiao's eyes widened. "Don't move! I told you a rat will bite if it gets angry. If it bites you, you'll die!"

He fiddled with his thin tail and squinted at her, as if thinking about something. His dark red round eyes turned into vertical pupils.

Shen Jiao:?

"Xuan Tong...you have to be a good cat and leave those mice alone. Return them to me and I'll take you out to eat, how about that?"

Shen Jiao called out tentatively, putting on a kind and persuasive look, and slowly walked towards him as she spoke.

He tilted his head and squinted his eyes. Just when Shen Jiao was about to catch him, he rushed forward again and turned around to grin at her.

It seems to be saying: Come on, come and catch me!

His eyes widened from squinting, and his pupils returned to their round appearance, looking extremely innocent and naughty.

Shen Jiao threw herself on the table, wanting to cry but unable to, not daring to say anything. In anger, she lightly hammered the table, and her hand hit the cherry pit. Suddenly, she had an idea and raised one and shook it: "Xuan Tong, look at this, this is more fun, come on, chase it!"

Shen Jiao threw the cherry pit forward. The small pit bounced on the ground and landed at his feet. He glanced at it and then looked at her.

Shen Jiao threw another one, further away: "Go, go play!"

This time he didn't even look at her, just stared at her, looking very confused.

Then he raised his hand and pulled the mouse's tail.

Shen Jiao chased.

He is happy.

Shen Jiao threw things to try to get him to play something else.

He didn't even look at it and pulled the mouse's tail.

Shen Jiao chased.

He is happy.

I understand.

"You're not playing with the mouse, it's me, right?" Shen Jiao slid down from the table in despair. The plain tablecloth blocked the falling person, and he could only see a pair of slowly retracted feet.

The child turned around curiously and saw Shen Jiao lying on the floor with her legs curled up, her body flat on the ground, her arms stretched out in a twisted position, her head tilted. Curious, the child moved closer, sniffing here and there, even pressing his nose against her like a cat, even against her face...

The result was, of course, that the clever Shen Jiao caught him red-handed by catching him in her arms: "You damn bad cat, let's see where you can escape to!"

Shen Jiao took back the rat cage and lifted him up.

Before he could do anything, Xuantong struggled a few times, unable to break free, and immediately let out a shrill scream.

If you didn't know what was going on, you would have thought Shen Jiao was beating the kitten because of the "meow, meow" sound.

This is so scary. The cage came back, and as soon as she let go, Xuantong jumped out.

Shen Jiao ignored it and quickly checked the poor rat in the cage.

Even Xuan Xiao, who was the most grumpy, was wilted and huddled there trembling. Seeing that nothing was wrong, he quickly opened his mouth and wanted to take the unlucky mouse stuck on the edge of the cage back. Who knew that the mouse was stuck quite firmly.

Shen Jiao had to pull out her hairpin and use force to push the thin iron railings open.

It was saved, but it looked... like it was lame.

Shen Jiao didn't know what to do when the hateful culprit poked half of his head out of the door again.

A soft and subtle voice: "Meow~~"

Shen Jiao: ...

Doesn't it feel ashamed?

A cat transformed into a demon, with a round human head, is still using this trick?

Look at the chubby face, his round belly, and his tiny three-head body.

I don't know who dressed him in those fancy clothes, a yellow shirt, green pants, and two red hairbands.

What's so cute about it?

The squeaking rats in her cage are so pitiful and... pitiful!

"Meow~~"

Shen Jiao: "Don't meow, I won't feed you even if you meow flowers. I'm going to be in big trouble. Who has the heart to care about you?"

Shen Jiao felt a headache just thinking about Xue Shun's reaction. That guy likes to make trouble even when there is nothing to do, let alone when there is something to do.

The ointment has run out and she didn't bring more. What should she do now?

Qiongzhi, who heard the noise, asked him whose child he was.

Xuan Tong glanced at her and ignored her. He walked in swaggeringly, poked Shen Jiao's side, and stopped pretending. He said concisely: "Meow!"

I don’t know what I want to say.

Qiongzhi chased after her and asked, "Sister, this..."

"It's just a monster. Ignore him. Call a doctor quickly. Xuan Youfu's leg seems to be broken."
