A Hogwarts Professor of Magic Chapter 158: Gathering Information

Felix suddenly thought of a campus legend at Hogwarts, where a Ravenclaw student read all the books in the common room overnight, which was considered an inexplicable miracle.

Perhaps, this was the effect of this magic.

He carefully sensed that the magic seemed to have completely disappeared, and there was no trace of it. After thinking about it, he switched his perspective neatly.

In the pale and black world, he could barely see the subtle magic gathering like stars. He put his nose in the air and vaguely saw a magic vortex.

"The magic is slowly recovering."

"I wonder who will be the next Ravenclaw student who is destined to be with me?"

Felix left here.

It was already dark, and he returned to the office. There was a short house elf standing at the door.

"Dobby?"

The elf raised his head and looked at him in surprise: "Mr. Hep!"

In the office, Felix handed him a bottle of butter beer, "The pumpkin juice and fruit juice are gone, this tastes good too, not much alcohol."

Dobby hurriedly thanked him.

Felix looked at his new outfit, "So, you escaped from Malfoy?"

"Yes, Mr. Happ, you can't imagine how lucky Dobby is..." He began to talk about his magical experience.

Felix listened to his story with a smile.

"You are lucky, Dobby."

Dobby said happily, "Thanks to the great Harry Potter! He saved Dobby!"

"So what are your plans recently?"

"Plans? Dobby, Dobby wants to make more money to save up a birthday present for Mr. Potter, although it is difficult..." Dobby took out a small box the size of a palm from his pocket, "This is a gift for Dobby's friend, Mr. Felix Happ." Felix

took it with interest and found to his surprise that it was not a shabby thing.

"It looks very exquisite, but I didn't recognize it. What is it?"

"A music box, sir." The elf looked at him stiffly. "It didn't cost much... Dobby earned it by working at the Leaky Cauldron. The owner there is very nice and he gets two Sickles a week."

Soon, Dobby said goodbye and praised the butter beer by the way: "It tastes great. Dobby likes it very much. I will recommend it to my friends."

Felix watched him disappear and thought to himself, two Sickles a week, I can afford it.

I will ask him if he is willing to do so next time.

Time flies and it is July 14th. Felix's figure appeared in a hidden corner of Paris, France. He walked into a narrow, dark alley.

A hooded man leaned against the wall with his right hand in his pocket. He glanced at Felix. Felix's face became blurred and distorted, and his silver eyes glowed slightly.

The man subconsciously avoided his sight. He said in French, "What are you doing here?"

"It has nothing to do with you. You just need to know that I am not your enemy." Felix reached out and took out a brown magic wand. The silver light in his eyes became stronger.

"Okay, remember not to cause trouble. I don't think anyone will take the initiative to provoke you."

The man timidly made way for the position behind him. There was an empty wall.

Felix raised the corners of his mouth and walked straight towards the wall, knocking the wall into circles of ripples. His figure disappeared.

The man stared at his back and turned his head to continue staring at the alley.

...

Felix looked at the scene inside. This was a makeshift bar. Various large and small wooden boxes were crooked and put together with magic to serve as tables and chairs.

Two hooded wizards not far from him were arguing loudly. In front of them was a silver craft.

"Ten Galleons!"

"No, at least twelve!"

The same scene happened in this small space, but most wizards covered their appearance with hoods.

This is a magic black market and bar in Paris, France.

Felix stood in front, ignoring the hidden sight of others, and swept his eyes over everyone present. When his silver-glowing sight fell, these wizards either looked at him fearlessly, or lowered their heads in panic and avoided him, cursing softly.

For the black market, showing strength is a smart move. It is the best way for strangers to integrate here.

Felix soon found the target. On the temporary bar built with wooden boxes, a dirty wizard with disheveled hair was drinking low-quality beer in big gulps.

"Aladdin, long time no see." He said in a hoarse voice.

The wizard raised his head. His cheeks were very rough. He was also one of the few people who did not cover himself. "Oh, it's you. Want a drink?"

"No, is there anything new in Paris recently?"

"Does it count if many foreigners come?"

"Be specific."

"Two Galleons."

"Dingdong~" Two golden coins fell on the box in front of him, making a crisp collision sound.

Aladdin grinned and put the coin away. He suddenly shouted around: "What are you looking at? You have no right to see it!"

The others quickly looked away.

"In the past week, quite a few foreigners have come here, all claiming to be experts in Muggle research. It seems that they are attending a meeting, and the Ministry of Magic is responsible for security."

"This is not interesting enough, Aladdin." Felix stared into his eyes.

"Hey! Don't look at me like that. Do you want to know about the time when I wet my pants when I was a child!" Aladdin said rudely. He turned his head to the side. "Well, only I can't beat you, otherwise..."

"There was a small problem. They were attacked..." he said.

"What attack? Did they catch anyone?" Felix asked.

"No, that group of Muggle experts are trash. Two or three of them broke into the venue and knocked down more than a dozen people in less than a minute." Aladdin said with disdain.

"Where are the Aurors from the French Ministry of Magic?"

"They are guarding outside. The woman from America is said to be very arrogant. She is the leader of this meeting." Aladdin shrugged. "I guess they are the ones who led the attack."

"Why do you say that?"

Aladdin looked around and lowered his voice. "Do you want to know? Want to get first-hand information? I paid a big price."

"Ding Ding Dong Dong."

Four gold galleons fell on the box, and Aladdin smiled.

"If the news doesn't satisfy me..."

"Don't worry! It's definitely worth it."

Then he revealed a secret. "It is said that the attackers are very arrogant. They warned the woman and left a blood-stained badge."

"What badge?"

"Ilvermorny School of Magic."

Felix was silent.

"It's too much, isn't it? There are thousands of students there. They are in a mess now. Six of the seven Americans left on the same day."

"No one died?"

"No, that's why they are arrogant. They came here to announce something."

Felix walked out of the magic black market and looked at the bright sky. People in the distance were chatting leisurely. A young couple pushed a stroller and walked slowly through the sycamore trees.

“I always feel that this is not a good time to travel.”
