"Bang, bang, bang!"
Professor McGonagall pushed open the door and saw Harry and Ron wrapped up tightly.
She welcomed them in, and Harry and Ron sat down on the chairs next to the fireplace.
"Potter, Weasley, what can I do for you?" Professor McGonagall asked.
Ron took out a horrible wand from his robe. It was broken in two pieces, connected only by a unicorn tail hair in the middle.
Ron said stiffly: "Professor McGonagall, I want to ask you for leave to buy a new wand."
"Oh?" Professor McGonagall lowered her head and looked at the broken ash wood wand. Her bun was meticulously combed. "Weasley, you should have changed a new wand a long time ago. I was wondering why you kept having accidents in class."
Ron lowered his head and said nothing.
Harry said, "Professor, we may need to use your fireplace to go to Diagon Alley."
Professor McGonagall looked up at them and said, "Of course it's no problem." She waved her wand and a silver cat jumped out of the tip of the wand. The pattern around its eyes was the same as Professor McGonagall's glasses.
"Weasley, come to my office." She said.
The silver cat jumped out of the window and quickly disappeared from Harry and Ron's sight.
Harry was still staring at the window, and Ron stammered, "Professor McGonagall, we can go by ourselves..." Professor McGonagall responded with a stern look.
"Don't be silly, I won't let two second-year wizards go to Diagon Alley alone." The Transfiguration Professor said so.
Ron had a bitter face. Although Professor McGonagall didn't mention the names, he knew with his not-so-bright head that she couldn't be looking for twins.
Harry couldn't help but look at Ron with sympathy. The relationship between the two brothers was still strained.
"Professor, what was that magic just now?" He changed the subject.
"Patronus Charm, Potter, you will have the opportunity to learn this magic when you are in your senior year."
After waiting quietly for a while, Percy Weasley appeared in the office.
Seeing his brother, he was obviously surprised, "Professor McGonagall, did Ron make a mistake?"
"No, Percy." Professor McGonagall said, "Ron is going to Diagon Alley to buy a new wand. I need a senior student to follow him. No one is more suitable than you."
The expression on Percy's face was even more surprised. He looked at Ron and couldn't help asking him, "Where did you get the money?"
"It has nothing to do with you!" Ron said angrily.
"I am your brother! I warn you, if you dare to do anything-"
"Percy!" Harry interrupted, "Professor Hep gave it to me." He turned his head to look at Professor McGonagall and said to her vaguely, "In recognition of the feat that night."
Professor McGonagall showed an expression of sudden enlightenment, but Percy Weasley was even more confused.
"Ron Weasley, I am proud of you. You too, Potter." She said with rare emotion.
Percy was about to ask something else, but Professor McGonagall said, "Go ahead, come back early."
So the three of them stood in the fireplace, and their figures disappeared in a burst of green flames.
Half an hour later, the three of them came back. Ron carefully held a fourteen-inch wand in his hand, with a happy expression on his face.
Percy's arm was on his shoulder, and it seemed that the relationship between the two had improved.
When they walked out of the office, Ron was still chattering about his new wand, "The willow wand body and the unicorn tail hair wand core are a perfect combination! Harry, look at its lines..."
Back in the common room, Harry was pulled aside by Percy, and he whispered, "Harry, can you tell me what you did?"
On the way, Ron couldn't help but let it slip that he, Harry and Hermione had won the school's special contribution award together, but when Percy asked, the two of them kept their mouths shut.
Harry said vaguely, "You'll know when the new semester starts. He will definitely surprise you."
On the other side, Ron couldn't help showing off his new wand to the twins, so he was dragged by the twins to play the duel game.
Fred smiled and said, "Ron, you need to get familiar with the new wand as soon as possible."
"Yes, that's right. We are willing to serve you." George patted his shoulder.
Hearing the twins' proposal, Harry was instantly moved. He saw a few simple spells in the "Dueling Handbook" given by Professor Hep as a Christmas gift.
He was very eager to try the effect.
"Let's go, Ron." He said.
But Percy was not interested in this, so Harry, Ron and the twins walked out of the castle and came to an open space by the Black Lake.
The four of them took turns to be opponents and cast spells on each other.
After changing to a new wand, Ron's spellcasting was indeed much smoother, but he was still at the bottom of the game.
He was knocked down three times in a row.
Harry first defeated Ron and then narrowly defeated George, but when he was fighting with Fred, he tripped and was fixed in place by a petrification spell.
Ron grinned happily: "So, this is what Hermione felt like when she cast a spell on Neville in the first year?" He kept poking Harry with his fingers.
When the spell was lifted, Harry immediately fought back - he grabbed a large ball of snow from the ground and threw it at Ron.
So under the influence of force majeure, the duel game was changed to a snowball fight, and several people rolled around in the snow like they were having fun.
After Harry completed a successful sneak attack with his agility, he was surrounded by the twins. He ran a distance in panic until he saw Professor Hep.
This was a very strange scene.
Outside the cold castle, Professor Hep was lying in a rocking chair, reading a book leisurely.
The rocking chair made a "creaking" sound and swayed back and forth.
Above his head was a blue flame that stretched freely like a ribbon.
"Hello, Professor Hep." Harry greeted.
Felix closed the book and sat up from the rocking chair with a happy expression on his face: "Hello, Potter."
At this moment, Harry noticed that the book Professor Heppe was reading was "A Collection of World Jokes", which did not seem to be a book about the wizarding world.
"Harry--"
"Don't run!"
Ron and the twins also caught up, and they also saw Professor Heppe.
"Are you playing snowball fights?" Felix asked.
"We are practicing dueling, and now it's halftime." Fred said, "Professor, can you give us some pointers? Your performance in the Dueling Club was amazing!"
"Ah, not today. I have decided not to think about anything about magic today." Felix blinked, "But don't worry, I will restart the dueling course after school starts."
"By the way," Felix looked around, "Why can't I see Granger? Isn't she with you?"
"Uh, professor," Harry stuttered, "Hermione, she's sick."
